    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'll second what Chuck said above. When anyone does a search on your name this thread will pop up and they will see just how Well you have handled yourself here. So in a way you have your good guy thread...Randy

Very kewl Dave Glad you recieved your payment finally. Please do not be discouraged by the actions of one shady herper. There are plenty of us out here that would love to show you how a good transaction is supposed to be. Take care and don't spend it all in one place :thumbsup:

This is not in defense of what happened. Because it could have been prevented on my behalf. By sending the first money order myself. Why the second money order did not arrive within a certain period of time I do not know. What I know is that I sent the second money order personally. Also David the first I had a hint that the first money order was not receive I responded immediately. Also informing your father that the previous # and email he had belonged to the company I had recently resigned from. I also informed him that the phone I was calling from was my new #. You probably even still were able to leave messages on the voice mail. Because these phones stay activated for the next employee that is hired on. I can not change anyones opinion what has happened and refuse to even try. David, I apologize for any inconvenience and wish you the best of luck in the future. I was not going to post anything else but the more I read the more frustrated I get. David with all due respect. I agree I should have the sent the money order personally the first time and this would not have happened. But, you should never place information about a situation and what is said in phone conversations when you are not the one involved in the phone conversations. Just a small variation in content gets people confused on what really happend. In this particualar instance. some of the events that you state happened or did not happen. Did not occur the way you stated they did. That is because you were not involved in the conversation. David if you are going to do business. You should always talk to the person first hand. Never once did I avoid a conversation with you or your father when I knew there was a problem. But, in the end I accept responsibility for this mess. It is just the way this situation was handled and quickly got out of hand that is frustrating.

A few times I did state what I heard from my dad and he never did tell me you got a new number and e-mail address, then I could have called you. There were some ways it could have been handled better on my part and your part but I really don't recall saying you ever avoided conversation with us.

I tried to handle the situation as best as I could and I am sorry if I did it the wrong way.

George claims to have mailed out two money orders to you on two separate occasions. George should have receipts for both those money orders that he could easily scan or take a digital photo of and post them here to cobborate his story.

Until he can do that, you got no reason to be sorry for the way you handled this at all.

Hey Georgie....what do you say you go ahead and post those two money order receipts?
 
And while you are at it George post all your comments about this thread on this thread. Do not pm me again. Share your excuses with everyone. Can't wait to see those reciepts....

I did not give an excuse. I stated that it is my fault for expecting someone else to send the money. My fault. The money order I did send and they will receive. I sent the western union so that dave could get his money and feel relieve with the understanding with his father that he would send the money order back once it is received. Once again I did not make an excuse for the first one not being sent. IT IS MY FAULT. IT IS MY FAULT. Hopefully this is in large enough print for those of you to see. So that you understand this is not an excuse but, an acceptance of responsibility for the first money order not being sent. But, what I am telling you is that the second one was sent with these two hands.
 
Dave I agree with a previous comment that you should not feel sorry or be apologetic. It is a learning experience for you. As for myself I have been around for a while. In saying this I should have set a better example for new comers such as yourself.

The only reason I sent you a specific pm is because you were the one with so many questions. So I tried to answer them. For everone else I do take the situation as you will. You have all ready had your trial and made your own verdict.
 
I had many questions because Mikes posts looked like damage control. The whole time he was trying to convince us you were some great guy. All you or Mike had to do is post copies of the original reciepts for the money orders and there would have been no further questions. Why not just post all your evidence to prove the money orders were mailed? Look at it from someone elses point of view. A 15 year old first time breeder came here looking for help. So We tried to help. Looks like it worked. How much longer would his wait have been Had he not come here? You are an adult and more experienced Herper. How many times has someone shipped you snakes without payment in full upfront? You should have paid in full along time ago. Plain and simple..
