In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

No Steve, we know you were just being a nice guy. I am sorry that you where screwed by this little POS.

May the next person that you are generous to be greatful for what they get.

Wow, Alicia. That is a very good post, but if only you knew your facts. Where should I start..
My signature- Yes, I have 2 ball pythons right now. One that I've had since February of 2007 and once that I got recently, the one that was supposed to be a female. Which it wasn't. I don't have Steve's BP, and Steve the snake in my avatar was Spike not Flame, your snake.

Spike and Rasmus(the beauty)- I took the picture when I had the two of them out. Rasmus was still in quarantine and I thought he was clean because he went back to normal, no mites, good feeding etc. Maybe I shouldn't have done it but, I did.

My new BP- the snake is still in quarantine and will be for some time because he still has mites.

So, I lied about neither of those things. You just missed alot since the last time I posted here because I've been avoiding this place.
Also, I got banned off of BP.net because I told the admin what I felt about her and the site.

Anything else I missed?

Um....STILL has mites?

How long has this snake had mites, and why isn't he being properly treated for them? If he was being properly treated, there should be no "still has mites" for "some time"....

He was treated with mite off when I got him, then I checked on him like 2 days ago and there was still mites on him. I'm doing soaking and I keep on spraying him with the mite off. I didn't see any yesterday when I checked on him and re soaked and sprayed him.

Simply spraying the snake with Mite-Off (that stuff doesn't work worth a crap anyway, really) will NEVER eradicate all of the mites. If you see them on the snake, they are all over the place. You could kill all of them on the snake, but the others will just keep reinfesting him.

You need to treat the snake with something effective like Reptile Relief (as directed on the bottle), and treat the animal's enclosure and the entire area around him (probably the whole room at this point) with something like Provent-a-Mite to kill all of the mites that have hopped off the snake and are traveling around looking for new snakes to infest.

OK, I'll get Reptile Relief tomorrow for when I go to buy a rat for him. I'll see if they have PAM too.

Just make sure you follow the directions on each of the bottles closely.

Mites really are very easily treated and quickly done away with if done properly.

Paulina, are all of your snakes in the same room?
The snakes that are in my room right now is Spike and my 2 corns (I won't quarantine them because I know the person I got them from)
My hoggy is in my mom's room and I have the other BP in my kitchen.

The BP with mites is "quarantined" in the KITCHEN???

Paulina....the idea of quarantine is totally thrown out the window when you keep the supposedly quarantined snake in a room that you are in and out of constantly all day, and then walk in the room where the other snakes are...

LOL
He's in the corner, but at least he's not near my snakes. I only have 2 rooms 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom in my house so I have to put him somewhere. I always wash my hands and put on sanitizer after handling him, though. So, I do what I can to keep myself and them clean..

Sorry to say this. But I see you doing something wrong so I want to help.

If the Ball Python has mites and is in the same room. You now will have to treat all snakes for it. You wash your hands GREAT but how about your close before you handle the next snake. How about something near one snake like a shirt it could be placed next to the other snake.

You have to take into account that you do not have the space for somethings.

I do not want to get into the rest of this. But you are keeping your snakes in a dangerous situation.

Not to mention that when she eats her meals in the kitchen, she really should check to see if the pepper on the food is moving....

Paulina, I sent you a darker color BP with an orange wash that had a partial blackback. If that is not the one I sent and you only had the petstore one when that was delivered when you were not home, what happened to the one I sent? That was the male. His sister, who had more of a blackback, was sold to Taipan from TRR.
What's the deal, I thought I was helping someone just starting out. Now it sounds like I was duped into sending you a free snake and you were not giving it the proper care you said you would be.

At this point, I would say seller beware and you really need to post an apology to Glades Herp because I don't think they had anything to do with the death of that beauty snake. Heck, I don't even think they are the ones who sold it to you.

Sorry, my message was deleted, by accident and part of what you said.

What I orginally said was..
The snake was given to a friend of mine, I no longer have the snake. But it is in the care of someone reliable and good with reptiles.
And I will apologize the them, I went too fast with thinking it was them.
Now, did anyone go to the Hamburg show? I was told they were at the 3rd isle on the venomous section. Where.. was that?
