    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You don't think it's appropriate to have a discussion about the utter lack of credibility Paulina has as a complaintant?

Or to examine the glaring issues inherent in her decision to start this thread without even knowing for certain who the vendor was that she bought the animal from?

You paid for your mod status and I didn't... but I sure as hell disagree with you on that one. I think this thread is a perfectly appropriate place to analyze her numerous shortcomings as a human being. While a thread with her name in the title and all this information would be great for searches- it's important to discredit those who aren't credible when they start throwing around baseless accusations like she has here.

'course... since she either lied when she registered for the site or is lying about an aspect of her identity now; personally I'd tend to just want to see her banned and every idiotic brain rotting post she's ever made deleted with extreme predjudice.

do some research, find out who it is you have an issue with, other then your own lack to pay attention when purchasing an animal.

you should figure out who you are upset with before randomly dragging peoples names down.
 
Paulina is a scammer. I guess that exposing scammers is not the purpose of the BOI?
What else would you call her efforts to blackmail a seller (that she's not even certain she purchased from) to refund her money(for a snake she had for 3 months and lied about several times) that she doesn't deserve?
She's lied repeatedly, trolled the board and acted like the worst sort of poster possible, and YET you want to say maybe we shouldn't say anything in the thread except to bash a seller that possibly isn't involved? It IS on topic to point out how many lies she's told.
For the record, I made mistakes when I was 13, BUT I never went on a website and lied repeatedly, abused people I asked for assistance from, tried to weasel out of the responsiblity I have, posted draamatics to get attention, and FRANKLY she brought every bit of this on herself. I doubt she is 13, I doubt she has the snakes in question, and I'd bet she's killed a lot more, or given them away when they inconvienantly get sick from her lousy husbandry practices. I have NO idea why any board would let her continue to post after all her stupid stuff she's done, much less defend her actions!

Seamus, as is usual, I do quite agree with the main part of your post.

Howeve, I think it has been adequately covered in this thread that she is a lying scammer who can't take care of the animals she buys.

Continuing this in a thread NOT having her name in the title is counter, I believe, to what Rich is trying to achieve here.

This thread is about Glades. Glades I think has been vindicated by everyone who has posted about them.

See where I'm coming from?

I believe I may have inferred more than you intended to imply- specifically I had the impression based on the wording of your post that you felt discussing both parties involved was inappropriate and that a new thread should be started with a title indicating that Paulina was the subject. I disagreed on that basis that Paulina's credibility directly related to this deal and thus belonged on this thread.

In retrospect, I now believe you meant something more along the lines of- Paulina's role had already been examined and sufficiently hashed out based on the information as it had been presented; some people were going back in for second helpings of gleeful whoopass that did not present unique opinions (from a poster who had not commented previously) or new information (pertaining to additional misdeeds on her part, or a nuance of the information already known).

That is what I meant.

As you infer, first helpings all around, no problems, even some going back for seconds. But, when it get's to be thirds and fourths and nothing at all has been mentioned about the subject of the thread in 25 posts, I kinda figure it's time to move to a thread specifically started for the new target.
 
I think to anyone reading this, with an above room temperature IQ, what's gone on here is simple and can't be misinterpreted, regardless of how much Paulina wants us to...

1. Paulina is a kid doing what kids do when they're given unrestricted access to the internet; causing un-necessary drama, attention-whoring and trolling. It's how kids communicate but, with respect, if that's how you communicate with professional snake breeders and your herpetological peers; you're better off waiting until you've developed some manners and the ability to reason without throwing a tantrum before you dip your toes in the water.

2. Glade Herps should never have been mentioned here. I know that they have been exonerated but that doesn't forgive putting their name in the BOI. To use the BOI as a blunt force weapon just echoes what I said about childishness and tantrums. This is the livelihood and reputation of real people with real feelings and real bills to pay. To come onto the BOI with these kind of antics mocks the hard work people put into their animals.

3. If Paulina can't be banned then she should be ignored. No more rising to obvious troll-bait or synthesised drama. Just ignore her and she will go away. I also think a Buyer Beware in the BOI might be a good idea.

That's it, just me tuppence worth as we say her in Good Old Blighty!

I apologized to them through e-mail. And, you guys were right, it wasn't them after all. I should have done more research before I made this thread. And I am sorry to Glades.
I guess you could just leave this thread alone, as I no longer want to deal with this and it turned out not to be them.

There have been examples in the past when thread titles were edited to reflect the proper spelling of a name when a mistake was made by the original poster- in order to ensure that the search function worked properly.

I suppose pressing the keys g-l-a-d-e-s h-e-r-p when Glades was not the vendor in question might be considered a sort of horrible, horrible, idiotic, horrible, stupid, ignorant, horrible typo.
 
There have been examples...but Rich has made a point of telling us all the problems with ANY form of editing on the BOI. It has been addressed repeatedly, and it isn't done because it effectively puts the editing party in place as "co-author" of that post (and, therefore, subject to litigation).

Yes - it is a shame that Glades' name is up in lights, especially when they didn't sell the snake, but it is no worse than some of the other injustices that have occurred (anybody remember the Dennis Hultman thread started by Matt Graybeal?) and are still open. The way to make this fade away is simply for people to stop posting - hint hint.

Actually Kelli, she only claims to be a 13 year old child. A well spoken and manipulative one IF she is.

I've always had my doubts but whether she is 13 or not, 13 is old enough to be responsible for your words and actions. You may not like some of the names she's been called, but she fits the description for every single one of them.

Shes responsible for her own actions on this forum. She felt she was responsible for said actions by Lying and signing up in the first place. Noone can control this girls actions. She herself acted in the ways that she did. Unfortunately many people have not had to deal with her on a regular basis. Those of us in chat, have.

She knows what shes doing, what shes saying and otherwise.

She had made lies about one member SUPPOSEDLY "threatening her life" Which was another lie. I was there at the time this happened, there might even be a thread... regardless... point is... she is a Troll. Immature and... whatever other words that describe a 13 year old child that wants to get her own way with total disregard to others.
