The pathetic low blow Paul was bringing this all up again on Christmas Eve. You and Tere have no one to thank but yourselves. Your attempt at ruining my holiday was in vain. My Christmas couldn't have been better!!!!!

Besides, even tho I am more inclined to believe you and Tere simply by "gutfeeling" it IS still yours and her word against Mikes. I don't think any hard facts or proof has been provided about some of the alligations.

Not trying to pick a fight but what allegations need to be proven?

Mike lived with Tere.
Mike lived with Paul.
Mike borrowed money from Paul.
Mike made up a user name to bid on Tere’s auctions to harm her business.
Mike froze and starved his Dragon’s at one point in time.

Mike voted both Paul and Tere Bad Guys on their Good Guy Certification the other day, which started all this again. That was after he apologized for everything on the BOI and admitted he done wrong.

So, Mike is a known liar and poor businessman. He attacks his competition under false names. Do you really need to know more?

Now, I agree with you on the point that I personally, would never let anyone move into my house with my family. I am just not that nice of a person.

Regardless, when in individual asks for assistance as Mike did from at least a couple of people because he could not shelter himself for whatever reason then you lash out at the very people that provided you that shelter speaks volumes about that person.

I read the other thread and everything posted by both parties. Which is precisely why I still shake my head about BOTH of them, no matter whose version is right. Btw. that is still something that only THOSE TWO will truly know, as well.

I disagree.

Look at it as you might.

Shipping and Handling cost is towards......SHIPPING and HANDLING.

And shouldn't be used for profit. Period.

And to say that Handling should cost $35 out of $45 is a bit out there.

So should other honest sellers charge $75 for shipping and it would be alright? After all, they have to use good boxes, styrofoam, etc etc as well.

And what if some not so well looked upon individual would have done this? I wonder if people would still think that this particular practice is "ok"?

Sorry, its just wrong. It's deceiving. The customer thinks that that part of the funds is applied to shipping and handling, when in fact, it is not.

I guess companies like Dell and Gateway don't know what they are doing. They make a profit off of shipping and yes - it is a seperate charge. You had better call them right away and let them know what they are doing is wrong.

Shipping materials ARE a cost directly related to shipping and handling. Whether or not that cost is factored into the selling price of the animal or the shipping charges is irrelevant. I have absolutely NO problem paying fixed shipping charges, as long as they are reasonable - and that is my choice. If someone is charging $500 for shipping - i'm fine with that, although I will likely choose not to do business with them. That said $45.00 is absolutely reasonable.

I'm not even going to using a MILITARY BASE to abuse their system to ship reptiles at a reduced cost, while they aren't even allowed on base to begin with. People living on base get certain privilidges. And people abusing those privilidges are the ones that ultimately cause those privilidges to be dis-continued.

I hardly consider members of the active military and their families taking advantage of ANY discounts they are provided to be an abuse. These people put everything on the line for VERY little monetary compensation. They deserve our thanks every hour of every day.

I respect everyones opinion, and realize their will always be differing ones. To each their own.

And this is just my humble opinion.

That’s great… so why not start a thread in the shipping forum about the ethics of shipping charges? Why do it here? Tere already said she hasn’t overcharged for shipping, and I doubt you’ll find anyone to offer proof to the contrary. You are allowed to post outside of the BOI, you know. I noticed that only 1 of your 80 posts haven't been on the BOI.

Why do you seem to only have opinions on BOI issues?
