In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Grrrrr!!! This REALLY bothers me...

I received an email with a request for a link exchange with for a website that is supposed to specialize in teaching the proper care of animals. They took the liberty of putting a link to my website on theirs, but when I checked out the link to their site, this is what I saw: LINK TO THEIR SITE

Do you see anything wrong with the gecko in the photo?

Needless to say, I refused to link back for obvious reasons, but did offer to provide them with a photo of a healthy leo, and any other care information.

Flabbergasted. That's one of the worst cases of MBD I've ever seen -- I think I've only seen one other that was comparable. Really not sure if these people should be offering gecko care information... and very glad you set them straight, Marcia.

Yeah, that site is horrible. I deleted a link to that page from Wikipedia the other day and replaced it with a link to this forum. I've seen that picture somewhere else either in a book or online, but I can't remember where exactly. If I figure it out, I'll post it here.

Here's the Wikipedia leo page - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leopard_gecko

I'm sorry, but even if had never seen a Leopard Gecko before, I would have know there was something severely wrong with that Leo. How the :censored: could they post that picture in good conscious.

I was just going to say this...LOL

Man, whoever they are, they need to "Stay away from the Retiles" :uzi:

Whoa! Thought I entered the realm of petco there for a minuite. :raspberry Step right up folks only Sixty bucks, but for you today $30. :hot:
"limb folded in half..... half price". seriously though, good job sending them better pics and info. They must have never seen a. ... well anything cold blooded before. Sheesh I was gonnan say they've obviously never seen a leo before. LOL but there's no excuse.

thAT is the worst mbd i have seen in a gecko by far !!!!!

I haev to say that is sick, that photo should only be used on an illness page to show people what will happen with neglct. I cannot believe they have that as their main photo. Marcia, I hope they take you up on the offer of a good photo of a nice leo!

I could not find a "contact us" on the website. Bummer.
