Wow just wow!! First off I would like to say that I really feel bad for Renee being caught up in this mess. I'm so sorry you became a target for a criminal like Candace to prey upon! I wish you the best in getting some type of resolution in your favor and to put this beyond you as soon as possible!
I also commend you for your last post it really shows what type of person you are. Very few people would be able to offer or even consider anything of the sort to someone that has done what she did and continues to do to you. I think it's great that after all the lies, deceit, theft and so on that you are not letting it change you and make you bitter and filled with negativity.
I have been following this ordeal since the beginning when it started on Candace's profile page. Even though at the time what info had been available seemed to point in Candace's favor something never sat right with me. It just didn't seem plausible that you would pick someone at random and make these claims. Especially because you were very specific and persistent about how you had been taken advantage of by this person. With Candace's replies stating she had no idea who you were and never dealt with you and how this must be some conspiracy to smear her name, with her fictitious ex-roommate Kira behind all this.
Although something didn't seem right to me at the beginning I still didn't know what to make of it all due to the lack of facts presented. Then this thread was created in the most bizarre manor I have seen on the BOI yet with a poll attached as to gain support from others that might have been wrongfully accused of something for no apparent reason.
I did have a laugh when the truth started to surface, I thought to myself I wonder how Candace answered to her own query. Which persona did she use to answer her own poll? I think the poll should have been, "have you ever posted false information about yourself to scam another fauna member?"
This has been one wild ride of a thread, and I'll admit it has been a guilty pleasure of sorts with so much drama, unbelievable tales, twists and turns, and a sociopathic nightmare of a person (Candace) who actually started this thread.
I won't rehash all the clear evidence of just how pathetic Candace is and list all her lies that she continues to hold onto. Because everyone else has done a prolific job in bringing out the truth and I commend you all for doing so and I'm sure Renee I appreciates it more than anyone.
Also Renee don't even let it enter your mind that she has any grounds to take you to court for slander or libel. This is a common tactic amongst the criminals we've seen on the BOI to threaten legal action in hopes to scare their victims from pursuing them. It's in the scammers handbook rule #32 I think. Threaten legal action when your caught with your pants down and all else has failed. I remember not to long ago a person by the name of Christina Wise also used the law suit routine and we all know how far that got her. I also recall the Wise person claiming she had lost her babies to gain sympathy or to shift focus off her scam or to scam someone else. Just like when this Scott person emailed you that Candace or Kira had just passed away. I believe candace is Scott in the emails and she as that desperate to use anything to get away with her crimes.
I also want to add that this Candace person has some serious issues. I found it really scary actually just how calm she is when she talks about the Sheriff and going to court and to dismiss the evidence against her. Just like how she treated her in and out statement about going to the Sheriff and paying $1000 bail like she just went to 7-11 to buy a slurpee. It was that common for her and she had this attitude early on when she was claiming that when she called there was no record of any warrant on her despite the numerous people here that called and got a much different answer. If someone had told me there was a warrant for my arrest whether it was BS or not I don't think I would be so calm about the allegations and brushing it off like she did. I would be freaking out especially if it was based on false information. But her calm and collected attitude wreaked of criminal behavior!
There is so much more to say but most of it has already been covered. I just hope the best for you Renee and I hope you get some compensation out of this.
As for Candace I hope you get what's coming to you as well because your attitude shows that you have learned nothing from your lying and stealing as you continue to spout nonsense that's just comical and sad.
