I just read the entire thread in one sitting and there is no doubt in my mind that Renee is not a "bad guy". I can point to all the evidence that proves Candace's guilt, but that has been done by far more influential members than I (namely Dennis).

Renee, I hope you keep your head strong and fight to the bitter end. Justice will be served, if not a bit delayed.
 
i too just read the entire thread in 1 sitting.... all i have to say is WOW. i am just getting into beardies, so i research people here before i buy, and sometimes the BOI is better than TV. i hope all works out well for you, this whole thing has been a nonstop :censored:storm of lies and excuses. best of luck to you.

Mental Issues

Just read this whole thread plus the connecting thread from the victim, Renee.
Just a terrible,terrible thing to happen. This Candice person appears to be educated and have good verbal and communication skills-plus she can tell a tall tale with the best of them-so I started digging around (I'm a mental health worker-i dig!)and I believe that the victim, Renee was lucky that things did not get worse . Candice has a history of theft and incarceration and it appears to be escalating. Her narcasistic behavior in continuing to boast and play the victim on this very public thread is very worrisome and points to several conclusions and the one that keeps rearing its ugly head is that she may be a psychopath-and the difination of a psychopath is below :

About 80-85% of incarcerated criminals have Antisocial Personality Disorder. However, only about 20% of these criminals would qualify for a diagnosis of being a psychopath. Most psychopaths meet the criteria for Antisocial Personality Disorder, but most individuals with Antisocial Personality Disorder are not psychopaths. Psychopaths account for 50 percent of all the most serious crimes committed, including half of all serial killers and repeat rapists.
A diagnosis of Antisocial Personality Disorder has limited utility for making differential predictions of institutional adjustment, response to treatment, and behavior following release from prison. In contrast, the diagnosis of being a psychopath has considerable predictive validity with respect to treatment outcome, institutional adjustment, recidivism and violence (Hare 1991). Dr. Robert D. Hare's "Psychopathy Checklist-Revised (PCL-R)" is the psycho-diagnostic tool most commonly used to assess psychopaths. On this checklist, psychopaths have the majority of the following traits:

Am sure plenty of people are following this thread even if they do not say anything. So, it is nice to have updates.

Continuances can be a blessing or a pain.
I imagine you might be feeling some of the "pain", behind them, if/when it is a case that you have all your "ducks in a row" and want it done, & over with, right away.

Maybe, I'm imagining things... however, I do believe that I just saw my Blue tongues up for trade/sale. What's happening is just, in my opinion, a pathetic act by a useless person that has nothing better to do but try to make a quick buck off of someone else's hardships. It's EXTREMELY sad that said person would think that I would cower down and just give up! Woman up and face your issues, get help, talk to someone, whatever you need to do to correct yourself. In the mean time..... why haven't you, Candace, tried to prove herself anymore? Are we giving up???? C'mon Candace, Kira, Scott, whatever you're calling yourself now.... Speak up, tell everyone how I'm lying, and that you didn't come to my home and write a bad check! PLEASE!!! You're awful quiet!
 
caskdam, Give a little more info on where you got these Blue Tongues! Please! If I wanted ANY of my reps back, it would be these. They were my kids. Don't think for one second that I wouldn't recognize their markings. If you're on the up and up, you'll help me get them back. If not, then I guess I'll see you in court as well. Thanks in advance!
 
What the crap? I have posted back to you asking about the leopard and even put the link to photos under your photo. I have a blue tongue that I am trying to sell or trade. He came from a pet store called Fins and Tails or something like that. You did not inquire on my blue tongue until I clicked on this post and read the last post. There is no need to be rude to me. I asked you about the leopard because I thought it may be yours. Why request me as a friend and act nice then act like I am a bad person?

Pardon me for being rude. This has been a very long, drawn out issue that has caused me and my family pain and irritation. You're Blue's you have for sale/trade are, in fact mine, (I know their markings and I have photographic proof). I find it very hard to believe that you "stumbled" upon the very same 2 of 7 reps that are on this thread. So excuse me for seeming rude. If you want to "Sell/trade" them, I would offer you nothing but a chance to return stolen goods without reprisal and Candace's address to get your money back by your own means. Meaning... I would be happy to take them back, without question. They are very loved... and missed! So, do what you want, but I would strongly suggest doing the right thing. I think 9 1/2 months of BS is enough. Don't you?
 
Handoff, I can imagine how you must feel seeing these animals of yours for the first time in a long time. I've been here the entire thread and I'm very much pulling for you to get your animals back and for Candace to get what's coming to her.

However, if I somehow ended up with new animals and they ended up being stolen, then you wrote that last post to me I think I'd tell you to kiss my butt. You're being a jerk to this person. Is it possible it's Candace reincarnated? Sure, I guess... but let it play out and try to find out by meeting up or let the BOI do it's work. Lots of times new accounts to bypass a ban get found out. It's not hard to imagine that Candace dumped your BTS and they made their way to a pet store where this new person bought them.

Your tactics are like a bull in a china shop, and I think you'd get more done by chilling out a bit.
 
I'm curious as to why these animals hold such great value when the initial intention was to sell them? These animals were sold off to a criminal and now they are like long lost relatives. I, personally, would not want the most recent owner at a loss when I am currently holding someone else accountable. If they are for sale and you want them back, I would just buy them and take Candace to small claims court for reimbursement.
 
Kevin and Nick...I couldn't agree more. Both of you hit it right on the head.

I completely understand how long this has been going on and how you must feel, but bulling people who end up with your animals that were stolen by someone else is non sense. IMO

If this new third party turns out to be Candace, then by all means tear into her, again, IN court. But wait until you know it is her. Don't just go assuming someone with your animals is at fault of anything. Your animals could have switched so many hands by this point, it would be hard to say for sure who, if anyone, really knows each animals history.

If this person indeed has two(?) or a few of your animals, that is definitely odd and something to look into. Look into, NOT be rude and demand things.

Hopefully you are understandable to my concerns here. You state in your ads and in your profile that your in Alabama where Candace is from.

You just posted a ad stating you currently live in Alabama but your recent ads elsewhere tell a different story.

Doing a search on your email address earlier this year you had only ads in the Apalachicola area where Candace stated she lived when she first joined this site.

What I find more interesting is your recent and current ads on craigslist show that you are in Panama City. Her current location.

So, you are from Alabama like her. You lived in Apalachicola like her, You now have current listings and ads in the City in Florida she lives in currently, while posting on here you live in Alabama.

Excuse me for being a little skeptical but hopefully you understand.

Particularly since you both have extremely similar birthdays and both posting with sprintpcs.

Call me crazy but I have my suspicions.
 
I asked a couple people if they mind asking some questions in different ads on another site and you told one of them you are in Atlanta.

Is it Atlanta, Alabama, Panama City, It's a little confusing? You are required to use your real location in the classifieds on this site.
