Yes, I definately dispute that as the communication was very constant through all but the last two months or so. In the beginning and mostly up untill my problems began, e-mails were sent back and forth sometimes several times per week. I think Nicole can verify this.

Nicole, If I understand you correct another six months have gone by??!!

I am dealing with this in the best way I see fit, as I have never dealt with it in the past.

I have also always prided myself with my communication skills, and tried to help others with such. We will all reach a point in our lives at some time or another when we don't make the right decision or communicate as we should.

I reached that point with many unforseen happening at once and have learned and grown from my mistake.

Six months have gone by again (almost a year since Nicole paid for the animals). In MHO enough time to take care of the "unforeseen events". Let's hope the money and the animals are sent to Nicole before Christmas.

I have just re-read this thread.

It seems that bob is the only jaw flapper here. What's up bob, why don't you take care of this girl as you have promised to, what, a dozen times now?

If the only thing you respond to is your name here on the BOI then it's time to find another business. Using your kids is a lousy excuse too. If you're the boss then whatever happens is your responsibility.

You're closing in on a year here. Even upchuck didn't take that long to make things right.

You've told Nicole you'd refund her the $200.00 plus three babies. Is there some reason you have not done this? Perhaps there really is and if so it would behoove you to post it here and let her as well as us know what's up. Simply avoiding this debt is not a good thing.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to know what's up with you and when, not if but when, you're going to make it right with Nicole. I hope it's soon.

Yes, another 6 months...

My paypal payment to Bob cleared on 12-23-02. It is now 12-7-03. A couple weeks short of 1 year have gone by.
I really don't know what else to say.
I only pray for my baby girl that Santa will be able to bring those skates Christmas morning so I can see that glowing, wide-eyed grin she gets when she is so excited and my Christmas will be perfect.
If Bob is so selfish that he can just steal my hard-earned $200, than so be it. I do not wish any harm upon him.
But if he is cold enough to take away a young girl's wish than I hope he gets what's coming to him.
An eye for an eye, I guess.

Let's hope the money and the animals are sent to Nicole before Christmas.

I appreciate the kind words, Alvaro, very much. I guess we'll just see what happens, but I have this feeling, way in the back of my chest, that my little princess isn't going to get her dream. I don't know if I can handle that, so I am thinking ahead and planning ways I may be able to make a little extra money, with the help of my friends babysitting. I won't give up until I get the money for the lessons, whether it is on time for Christmas or not. But if you have kids, you know that the best part about Christmas is watching your child's face light up when they open that Barbie doll they had wanted so bad; those walkie talkies they just had to have; that sand art kit they saw on TV so many times and longed for; or, those skates that they pictured themselves wearing and skating around the rink just like the beautiful girls in the Olympic Games do, getting showered with roses and cheered from above.
I won't quit if Christmas passes me by and I have no skates--but I'm afraid she might. She has been through some disappointments in her life already that I am trying my best to make up for. I'm afraid she might give up and quit dreaming like I did when I was young. She doesn't need to follow that path, and it makes me so angry that someone, a stranger, could just take that away from her.
Maybe I am getting a little emotional and deep into this--I never did mention in my emails to Bob anything about my baby's skates, so he may not understand the consequences. But she will be forced to understand the consequences, and she is the innocent one. I just hope he comes and reads this and does what's right.
My baby got so attached to one of the dragons I have I am going to let her keep her "Baby Chrissy" and told her she could pick out one of the babies that Bob is sending me to keep Baby Chrissy company, as long as she takes the responsibility to care for them. The sad part is, she has taken the responsibility, yet I have no baby to give her. She says its ok and that Baby Chrissy might be jealous if she had another one, but I know inside her she still wants one of those babies--'a boyfriend for Baby Chrissy'.

...i've gotta think there are some fraud avenues you can take to try to recoup some of your loss...

i wonder if this guy's still trying to sell stuff or if he's dropped off the scene completely...i suspect the latter since kim inquired about his whereabouts...

I don't really care what his new excuse is. I just want what I deserve. He could tell me he took a trip to the moon and got lost so he couldnt contact me--I don't care, as long as I get those skates.
I would like to hear what he has to say. . . if I ever hear from him again, but if he comes on here and sees this thread and does not want to stand up in front of us all and give his reasons, I surely hope he gets through to me privately and repays me. I can come on here and say it is settled and he wont have to deal with anyone. I won't even ask questions or push for excuses, just appreciate he did the right thing and got it back to me. And my little girl would be happy.

Do you still have the address where you sent the payment to? At least the town or city? A zip code?

Someone in the BOI might live close enough to him and may be willing to inquire about his whereabouts.

What's really upsetting is that he seemed to be outraged when someone told him he had been playing around with you for six months. Another six months went by and nothing. He went as far as saying he had "learn and grown from his mistake". Sad.

I would have to say that the "Bad Guy" label is well and truly deserved at this point. It's a shame too as Bob always came across as a pretty good sort in his past dealings. Ah well....things and people do, unfortunately, change.

I do not have an address as it was sent through paypal. I only have that the payment, $200 USD, was sent to Kimberly Fisher on December 23, 2002 @ [email protected]. I am going to re-read all our past emails again and see if I can find any hints to his address.
I did feel bad about calling him a bad guy. . . after he came on and said he would work everything out. I felt bad that I harmed hid reputation when he had problems in his life. Now I am just mad.

Well, I'm afraid I'm at a dead end. I have called and called and gotten no answer, and they don't have an answering machine. Today, every time I have called it has been a continuous busy signal. . . I don't think I'll be able to get ahold of them. It just makes me so mad that that was my hard-earned money and he has a cold enough heart to just steal it! I don't understand people like that, how they live with themselves . . .

I got through...

I just talked to Bob and he said he has had computer trouble so he didn't have my information. He is supposed to get back to me this week and he gave me his cell number. Hopefully I will be able to get my refund before Christmas, but he wasn't sure. I am just happy to get ahold of him. . . I thought it was over. . . .
