Anyway, yeah, I emailed every ad in several states that claimed to have feeders, so that included him.

I'm not quite sure where this response is going, but the OP stated she has better things to do than TROLL people on craigslist. Contacting any and all ads regarding feeders when you are actually interested in them isn't trolling... Incase you aren't aware trolling means f'ing with people, which isn't what the OP appeared to be doing at all.

I have to agree. I went back and re-read her reply to that statement and couldn't find a single condescending or snarky word in the whole thing. She seemed to stay very level headed even through all of his curse-laden replies. Sure she could have just dropped it after the "yeah right" reply, but truthfully even I would be taken aback and would have wanted to know why I received that answer when simply inquiring about purchasing something that was being advertised.

EXACTLY!! I am so glad to see someone else using common sense here. This is what the BOI is for. I would have to guess that the OP will no longer be warning people of things and that is sad.
She came on here seeming very professional trying to HELP the herp community and she gets bashed for it...how nice.

I am also guessing the guy is not going to show up to say anything. I wonder if he even has rodents.

I'm a very professional, level headed person, and I don't appreciate being treated the way I was.

There was several other things I wanted to say to him, but I'm not that kind of person. I wouldn't say it in person, I won't say it online behind a computer screen (though I may think it lol).

Anyway, I won't stop posting in BOI when I come across bad customer service. I think everyone has a right to know.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who goes on craigslist to find a deal. It's nice to at least have a heads up as to who is on the up and up, and who is not.

BTW, Yes, I do have a life. When my JOB entails feeders, I consider it MY JOB to answer any and all ads pertaining to feeders (Just an FYI).

It was rude of him to reply that way, I agree, but your replies egged him to continue. Not to mention, the "yea right" was a clear indicator that he did not have what you were looking for. I would have left it alone after that so my email address won't be forwarded to a million spam sites or listed under a W4M ad.

Your first sentence...."feeders are not hard to come by", are you joking? That is for who to say? You?
Not everyone is into paying as much for shipping as they are in their rats.

Then YOU bring up fuel cost just before you bring up how CL is set up for individual cities. So how much fuel would be used when inquiring in your own city?
Here in KY the "cities" listed are more like towns, MOST of which I can get to for about $3.00 in gas.

That was really the only things you said that even would have mattered...but they still don't, as you can see. The rest you were just making ridiculous assumptions.

So go back to ordering your feeders from the big names and pay as much as you would like for shipping. I could care a less. But when something this obvious is posted on the BOI, to come and argue it is silly.

I see you have not read this thread from post number one.

1- I was not looking for shipping, delivery, or anyone to meet me
2- I was looking to drive out to any of the surrounding states if the people have what I need.

I would pick up from their home or a local pick up location.

Please do not insult my intelligence. I have already calculated fuel charges for traveling to different states. I've also calculated the fuel charge, as well as maintenance charges for using my vehicles vs renting a vehicle to take my trip in, and have decided that once I reach a certain number of miles it makes no sense to use my own vehicle, but, rather, rent a vehicle just for the trip. It's more efficient that way.

I have searched locally and could not find anyone who can supply me with what I need. If you think you can find me someone, please, feel free to contact me with the names of those in my area that can?

Also, I do not know of any reputable companies closer to me that can supply what I'm looking for. Maybe I missed one? Can you please direct me to one that does?

There is no logic. Just because you give Grade A service on CL doesn't mean it's expected by everyone. It's anonymous classifieds, expecting a profesional atmosphere is a reach.
