So far nothing has really happened to you that can't be taken care of if you give the guy a chance. Instead you are going off like the snake has died, which it hasn't and Dan has refused to do anything about it, which he hasn't.

Instead of acting like some sort of psycho nightmare customer try giving the guy a chance to make things right. Just from this thread alone you have already been added to my "Do not sell to" list. If you expect a problem to be handled professionally try acting professionally when presenting the problem.

I called him about the snake, on arrival and when it was late, hell he never answered then. I never got to talk to him on the phone. BUT, i have messages i left for him!

Now he does not come on here.

Ok...i am backing out it's late...guess i will have a dead snake perhaps. But i will do my best to try and keep it alive until he does something!

I have known Dan for a year now and I can he a very good knowledge on the care of many different reptile species. Dan is a truly good guy and would never ever sell an animal that is subpar in any way.

Sydney is also an amazing keeper and would never allow an animal to leave their facility that is part of her group of animals that she cares for. Sydney is also educated in veterinary medicine, understands that possibility of cross contamination issues, and would not jeopardise her rescue or Dan's business.

Both of these people are fine examples of what is good about this hobby.

It looks to my like a mistake in paper work.

I also believe asking for a refund 6 weeks after the purchase of an animal is a bit extreme to me.

Pam you should take the snake to the vet and have it looked at. Many things could have gone wrong, but I don't think that Dan has anything to do with what is wrong with your snake.

I just sat down and read this thread in about 10 minutes and Im not having any problems following this...

Tims name was mispelled on paper work for a Snake this Lady ORIGINALLY wanted and ended up getting another snake....

Seems pretty simple to me and i would wager to about 99% of the ppl that have read this thread..

It has CLEARLY BEEN STATED NUMEROUS times...so all the crap about lies and misrepresenting of animals is just retarded...and for the LOVE OF GOD ITS SPELLED KOPPENHOFER just because it isnt spelled correctly on the paper does NOT MEAN that isnt who EVERYONE has said it is....Not a lot of boa guys in the cleveland area with the name koppenhofer ...

you didnt answer my calls, when i returned them cause you had your wisdom teeth pulled, and the snake was not late, you ordered it at 9:30 at night so it went out the next day for overnight priority. this all mean that you buy it one night, then the next day it goes out and on the third day you get it, unless you order it before 7 pm cause that is the cut off my dear, and you joked about how blonded and pain killers dont mix well. hhhmmmmm

First off, I don't know Dan or any of his "MySpace clan".

Your first post was wishy washy at best, you have no grasp on how to present facts, heck you don't even know what the facts are, and come across as an immature little brat. You haven't gotten ripped off, your snake hasn't died and Dan hasn't refused to take care of things. You are focusing on the paperwork and Dan has already admitted that it must have been a mistake. Instead of giving him a chance to make it right you continue to call him a liar and make demands. Personally, if I was Dan I would just refund your money and tell you to get bent. Even though I think that IF the snake is even sick it probably got that way in your care. One thing this thread has definitely shown, to me at least, is that you are a customer to avoid.

That answers my question. I was thinking of paperwork from the breeder. I don't know many people that send paperwork for normals anyway. This was a note for a bill of sale with a mistake. I think...

the circle back 100% het albino male you originaly wanted came from Tim. I told you originaly that there was no paper work on the snake. you then changed you mind to a $75 normal red tail boa. I told you i did not have any papers originally. you wanted something, anything in writing because of your concern for the new FL, laws. You asked to put any info I had on paper for you incase you had issues in the future due to FL laws. I TOLD YOU I WOULD PUT DOWN ANY INFO I HAD. TIM HAS NOTING TO DO WITH THE NORMALS AND THE CIRCLE BACK I HAVE WAS ON TRADE AS WELL. a lot of vendors trade and animals pass through a lot of hands, so yes info gets confused and for this i do appologize. If tims name was on a paper in the box i shipped you then it was in there by accident, i send out a lot of animals and sometimes this stuff happens. I will have the persons name of who PRODUCED this snake for you tomorrow. All the snakes that have come from this clutch apparently are doing just fine aside from yours, and a month and a half is plenty of time to kill or injure a snake, so if you would call me like i asked allready we can take care of this and get you all the proper info you need.

So what happened is that a snake that's in your care for a month or more is sick. Oh, and there is a mix-up as to its origin. But again, the immediate issue seems to be that it's sick, a month after you began to care for it. Oh, and your vet is closed until Thursday (so is my reptile vet and I bet most others as well). And somehow you want immediate satisfaction regarding this animal that has been in your possession for a month.

Have I missed anything?

If not, then I would, if I were the seller, apologize to you for thr paperwork mix up, which likely was an honest mistake, and which he has done. I would also apologize to Tim for dragging his name into this thread, which you, a certifiabe lunatic has dragged on beyond belief, and I would tell you to consult your psychiatrist for a medication adjustment. I bet the shrink won't be in until after the holiday either so you will just have to wait on that too.

have the information for the breeder. We only interact with him at local
reptile shows. He is not a vender, but a local individual. We have
puchased 6 babies from this person (who is not tim kopenhoffer) we have sold
only one, and currently have 5 out of 6 of the babies we purchased left.
You bought the one that we sold. None of the 5 babies we have left are
experiencing any health problems. They are all from the same clutch and are
all doing fine execpt yours, so it is not a genetic defect.. Agian we do
not have the breeders info (who is not tim kopenhoffer), and the snake you
bought did not come from tim coppenhoffer, nor was the snake you purchased
$150, yours was purchased for $60 dollars. If you have any further

To the best of our knowledge the 100% het albino did in fact com from tim Kopenhoffer and was born around easte.r We did not recieve the het albino directly from tim, but in trade from a customer. However, this has nothing to do with the one you bought. The snake was ordered off our website www.chaosreptiles.com and was not misrepresented. this was the item she ordered, which you will find no mention off tim kopenhoffer. this information has not changed nor is it misrepresented. it says :

It seems that there are a couple of things going on here - but I want to take just a moment to address some of the "technical" aspects.
- A BOI thread was posted, asking for info on a person that MIGHT have been distantly involved in a transaction.
- The person named in the title is NOT the person the poster dealt with
- It now appears that the person named in the title had no hand in this transaction even before the deal took place
- Subsequently, there is a BOI thread in his (Tim K's) name that IS NOT ABOUT HIM.
- Since the issue is clearly not resolved, even with this knowledge, it seems likely that posting will continue...adding more to this thread, and possibly reflecting poorly on Tim K (it is his name in the title, after all)

Kairo, if you are inclined to continue your efforts here - and I am not suggesting you stop them - please open a new thread in the name of the person that sold you the snake
