The second post is from 7/4/07 if I remember correctly, if I am wrong, I apologize for that. It isn't about myspace anyway, it is a legitimate concern about cages.
Now, on to my concern. You were trying to figure out how to control, or clean "seepage". From my experience, there isn't seepeage from a snake that is not sick. Seeping crap would be something that allerted me to a possible problem before a small boa stopped eating. How many animals do you have with seeping poop?
Maybe you should be worried about your entire collection, as you mentioned above. However, if your quarantine is as good as you like to think, it probably isn't that baby boa you got from Dan that you should be looking at the hardest.

I know how to clean cages as (again) told to Dan today...we went into detail about it!

This is not what i am looking for....i need the breeder of that snake!

these are not acusations but simply questions we have. nothing has changed since our conversation on the phone earlier, but they still needed to be brought up. every one in the world has perfect husbandy until you see it first hand. we are not being unreasonable. I told you that if you chose to put the snake down than i cannot refund anything, but if you take care of it and provide me with the proper DVM, paperwork and we can find out what caused this problem. as for me again all of these snakes are fine aside from yours, so your husbandry and containment is a very big question at this point.

I also welcome other peoples opinions if i am being unreasonable.

THis person will not give a VET OFFICES PHONE NUMBER and name. Why should we give a breeders name and number. I think we should talk to him personally first as he should have a choice in this as this person seems to not respect people.

She wants personal info about a breeder that has nothing to do with this deal but she will not give the vet offices phone number? LMAO.................... Personally, I would not reveal the name of the breeder, to be dragged through the mud for no good reason. This is obviously a teenager having a tantrum. At this point, the breeder is irrelevant, the main issue should be getting the normal rtb healthy again.

You signed up at this site today, you've made four posts, all in this thread, and your location (Cleveland) suggests that you may have a personal and/or a professional relationship with one or more of the parties here. Knowingly shipping a sick animal to Dan & Josh KNOWING it has most likely been cross contaminated by YOU in the vicinity of rescues is the most low class thing I can think of. YOU would knowingly send your filth back to them in turn putting THEIR animals at risk just by having YOUR box in the building.

She starts the thread not even knowing the name of the people who sold her roommate the snake. But then later says she has emails from Dan about the snake. if she has all the emails, but they all transpired on myspace, and she doesn't have an account... what?
then the account was deleted, which i find super practical, considering it deletes all the emails along with it.

The snake is alive. How alive...well i will see tomorrow. Guess work never works. I have no holes in my story, i have been trying to answer and as well make posts about this sour subject.

I have had dealings with Mike Greathouse twice, he was happy to "fit" my needs with the right Boa. Transactions went very fast, he returns calls, answers questions and makes sure the animal arrives safely. He is a GREAT Boa breeder. I have a very large male Boa Mike produced, and this snake is fantastic. Size would scare many, but he was well handled. I have used this snake in lectures. Great choice!

*Waves to Mike* I have dealt with Mike twice now. Great Boas!!! I bought the beautiful 6 yr. male listed recently. The animal is used for lectures. A beautiful snake with a great disposition. Mike ships with care. And he stays in touch to make sure the animals arrived fine.

Journal Of Virology (been going through books here) may be the book i have read it in. Confirmed completely? Does not seem so after all. If i have made a mistake with the species i am sorry...but this Virus has the ability to perhaps not be exclusive to our other species mentioned in this thread.

It goes into depth about the "snake mite" who seems to perhaps play a major role with IBD.

Fine. A do not sell to me list would be fine. But those people would at least get paperwork right!!!

I have a group of people i buy from when i want, always have. They know me well enough.

What got resolved today. Oh, Dan will not refund. Okay. I understand. And what else he does his on fecals, okay. He Does not know where my snake came from except a show he attended, okay. And i did not get what i asked for as far as paperwork goes, okay. I get papers from another snake that is not mine with another mans name as the breeder, okay.

See this can all go on. Yes, i'm upset. Throwing tantrums...no, it's very hard to show emotion in writing.

Dan can't help me...let it go. I have to.

That's right! If you ever find a post that i had dealings with a member here that IS me!!! Mike has been great! As many others i have cards from and snakes i bought from here!

I talked with Mike, i was going to get into breeding and i have a beautiful snake Mike produced here with me.

I changed my password. I do not ask questions here (well i have not yet)...that would not be me. Also i log out...
