    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

It was brought up in a previous thread but I think numbers would be good. I think that 2 times a month is very low. I mean, theres at least 5 ppl in the cornsnake room every night. Should we shoot for more? Vote it in.
 
I can see it both ways. On the plus side, I usually can't make the scheduled chats so it'd be nice to pop in and chat once in a while. On the down side, it's not quite the event so less people will probably use it...

I vote Yes for more often (and at different times of the day), but every day is overkill and I think would take away from it.
 
I dont think having a time every night for us to go and chat is bad at all. Everytime I come on here there is atleast 6 people in the cornsnake room from that community (so lets show them up..lol). I think it will help out those with scheduling problems and let those whom want to chat more often do so.
 
I think having regular chats would be awesome, but if people dont have good questions and good material which may atake a few days to build up, that chat may end up being totally unrelated to geckos. I still voted yes though. What time were yo uguys thinking? 8 pm central time?
 
I personally feel that two "regularly scheduled" chats a month are fine, but if you guys want to try another one we could maybe do three times monthly or even once weekly. What say you?
 
I like the once weekly idea. I mean, the easter one was cancelled for obvious reasons, but even then, not everyone can make them and its nice to have a chance to hear about Tanya getting hot chocolate up her nose more than 2 times a month. LOL. All joking aside I'd just like to be able to talk more with the members live.

I think the idea of having a scheduled weekly chat for Leo talk is great, mixing up the day of the week and time. Maybe having a daytime chat for those who work odd hours, and evening chat for normal people. I know I'd fall under the odd hours.

I think it would also be nice to have an open topic schedule so that we can all meet with each other and get to know each other.

To not fill up the calendar with all our chats, maybe it can be put in a stick in our forum. Then if for some reason the chat falls on a holiday it can be postponed by a day or two depending on the holiday.

Let me know if you all can agree on days/times, and I'll be glad to post a sticky :)

Also, any suggestions for future guest chatters or chat topics?
 
How about mixing it up and going by date of the month example: 1st, 9th, 17th, & 25th, this way it's not always on the same day of the week. Again for those who don't work 9-5 Mon-Fri. Then have a 12pm and 7:30pm chat.
