In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Help!!william Alexander Is Ripping Me Off $400.00

I can't get anymore of those, I am broke busted, no cash to pay for him to sift through free animals, when he has an extraordinary pair there...

QUESTION what if he doesn't want to be satisfied??? Will i have to wait till next spring and buy him another pair, what happens to the pair I already sent him...What if he doesn't like that pair, he keep it too??
He won't even show yu the pair he has...all these claims and you havn't even seen the animals he has NOW

I have asked this a dozen times and you people miss the point...If i sold someone a diamond ring and they said it was an emerald ring..wouldn't you want to see what I sent him????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

No...you sent him pics of the animals.

OBVIOUSLY (he posted that he was expecting the animals in the pics in his email to YOU) he was EXPECTING THOSE ANIMALS...so you must have never stated that those were not the exact animals...and that those pictures were for species representation ONLY.

You have admitted that you didn't even HAVE any aquaflames...and that you had to go out and BUY them to send to him...after having OFFERED them to him...this isn't a "going above and beyond" thing...this is offering something you don't have, misrepresenting it, and then having to scramble to find them...so you paid for CB...because "he didn't want them with parasites"...DUH.

Yes...I'd like the Suriname with mites...and liver flukes on the side, please.

YOU made the offer...you came up with animals that were NOT what was offered...and now you are behind the 8-ball.

Seems like you made the bed...and you should lie in it.

You still have not shown proof of ANY of your allegations...although it has been requested several times...leaving the burden of proof on Bill...
YOU started the thread...prove your claims or leave it be.

Man...I am SO tired of people that cannot admit that they have faults...or might be even slightly wrong...and would rather destroy their good reputation than shut up and make good on a deal.

William

If the only remaining issue you are dissatisfied with in this transaction is the quality of the collared lizards, I believe that Justin's request that you post decent pics of the pair in question is a reasonable one. since the animals seem to be of a size to breed next season, the fact that they are a bit younger than you thought they would be is pretty much a non-issue

If you have any other issues you feel have not been addressed, now is the time to trot them out.

If, in fact, the only issue is the supposed quality of the lizards, it should be relatively easy for you and Justin to resolve this.

Maybe I'm missing something, it's very difficult to wade through all the extraneous talk about medical bills, truck payments, mex black kings, $9000, bearded dragons, and other items that don't seem to play any part in the deal. It's also seriously difficult to decipher a lot of the mostly incoherent posts from both parties.

From what I have been able to piece together, the original deal looks like it was:

Justin sends:
1 Albino tangerine striped male adult
2 Albino tangerine striped
1 banded yellow albino
30 Box Turtles
1 Pair of AquaFlame collard lizards
1 Western Hog red phase

William sends:
1 payment of $400
1 payment of $400
1 payment of $400
1 payment of $400

That is how the contract was laid out. Correct me if I'm wrong.

According to William, Justin has NOT fulfilled this part of the agreement:
8 box turtles
1 Pair of AquaFlame collard lizards

Meanwhile William has not fulfilled the $400 payment as agreed upon.

It would be nice if the two of you would simply answer to these details, and leave out all the irrelevant soap opera stuff.
· What exactly was agreed upon?
· What exactly was sent as agreed?
· What exactly was not sent as agreed?
· What exactly still needs to be sent in order for both sides of the contract to be satisfied?

The longer this drags on, the worse it makes both of you look.

ALIAS YOU COULDN"T BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH

No...you sent him pics of the animals.
Of one male, he was told that I would get him similar animals in the future when I can...how can you prove a conversation you never were privy too, you are speculating again here...

OBVIOUSLY (he posted that he was expecting the animals in the pics in his email to YOU) he was EXPECTING THOSE ANIMALS...so you must have never stated that those were not the exact animals...and that those pictures were for species representation ONLY.
More speculation on your part... he made a callous demand and changed the agreement knowing fully I could not deliver that animal, seem you are taking sides here and speculating what he says is truth...

More speculation, no timetable was given, I told him I would get him a pair free as a thank you for helping me out ...period

YOU made the offer...you came up with animals that were NOT what was offered...and now you are behind the 8-ball.
How d knw this more speculation, you havn't even seen what he has there, how do you know it doesn't look identical to the ones in the pic...just taking his word again as fact... your alegations are worse than the ones you accuse me of because there rooted in pure speculation, mine is rooted in what happend ,regardless what is said here, he has a pair of lizards that cost me 120.00, super high end for collareds, he is unwilling to post them and show you waht he has but he is making an accusation based on the fact they are not what he wanted...

1).I proved in his email he said it wasn't about the lizards...

2). I proved my truck was not being repossesed even though he said it was

now proove to me and others that the lizards I sent him were not aquaflames, if i sent a picture of a boa and said i can get you one free if you buy, you buy, and you get in a boa with slightly differant markings ( no two are the same) is it reasobale to say you didn't get what was promised???

What needs to be proven is
Whether he expected the one in the pic or not
He says he did?
You say he didnt?

According to William, Justin has NOT fulfilled this part of the agreement:
8 box turtles
Sent he recieved them...

1 Pair of AquaFlame collard lizards
He recieved them..but won't show anyone the pics

What exactly was agreed upon?
You can see what was agreed upon in my 1st post..the copy of the money request I sent him...It is very simple, states what he paid for and what was free and how he should pay.

What exactly was sent as agreed?
Everything was sent...all replacements made

What exactly was not sent as agreed?
Nothing was kept back

What exactly still needs to be sent in order for both sides of the contract to be satisfied?
My 400.00, he has the lizards

William sends:
1 payment of $400
1 payment of $400

you say it like

9 g's is chump change, that ppl spend that in one sitting with you. This guy has spent a load of $ with you. If 9,000 $ is nothing but one sitting to you why fuss so bad over $400? Im sure you can and will get your $400 back but he seems the type of person to not want to give it back if he keeps reading all this in a public forum. I'd call the the pi$$ing contest off,and handle this between the 2 of you and the 2 of you only. The person that posted about when and even if you can can call ppl to collect a debt is true, you CANT it sux ,but there are laws out there to protect ppl that dont pay their debts. Point of my post being JMO you make it sound like you have ppl spending 9 g's or more with you all the time and that it is not that much $ if that be the case why all the fuss over the $400?

Well with an avearge of a 20% margin it's not all that...yes we have good long standing customers, but 400 is lot of money no matter how you look at it. Especially if your paying superhigh medical bills with n ins...every bit counts.

Wouldn't it be so easy to just have Bill take the cost of the collard lizards out of the $400 and send the rest and the lizards back?

You said you don't have the ones in the pic, right? So there is no why you could ever send them right? he will not be happy till you send the ones in the pic, you can't do that, so something else needs to be done.

Also, he says you still owe him 8 box turtles, you said they were sent, can you post the tracking #'s from where you sent the replacements?

Some of these posts are kinda hard to read, so if I missed something let me know.

It looks to me like this would be an easy fix, Take the cost of what ever is missing out of the last payment and send the rest.

I am willing to do that.., for one thing out of all our deals I have never not delivered the best, he even mentions that why he dealt with me...the tracking # on the free stuff , box turtles etc is 18234830946 via DHL.
He will not negotiate with me over this it either give him what he wants no matter how unreasonable or I am out 400.00, he is unwilling to send pics of the animals he recieved, he want you to believe I didn't keep my end of the bargain so he doesn't have too...END OF STORY

very true

$400 is alot of $ hell I'd be mad to get took for $4 it is the thought that counts. I know all about them med bills man. I just think if this guy has already spent NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS with you,you will get your $400 I would of waited to come here. I'd want to keep a customer like that.

He also ripped me on 6 bearded dragons and backed out of deal for 20 at the last secnd after all arrangements were made, said he was doing so to get back at me for chewing him out on the previous order...he did it as retaliation, just like keep the 400.00, he will not stop retaliating and I will not stand for it no matter how much money he spends, I do not need customers like him...Bill also never mentioned the 3 k in other free animals I gave him...

BTW
here's a list of freebies I gave him not part of this deal...

2 baby box turtle @ 50ea
1 spotted turtle @ 150ea
1.1 2x het for hypo erythristic sinaloans @ 400 pair
1.1 Albino nelsoni @ 200pair
a few Diamondback terrapins
dozens of box turtles, all thrown in as over counts on deals lets say 10 or so
and that just what I can remember , there lots more actually tons more...I wanted this guy to be successfull, I spent literally days on the phone with him giving him a hand and helping out...and this is my repayment...

As has been mentioned, if free products are inducements to create a contract they are part of the deal and must meet certain minimum requirements unless the contract specifically says otherwise.

Tentoes:
If your only issue is the collards, then deciding on a value for them (currently suggested at $120), and then subtracting that from the $400 outstanding, and remitting the difference to Justin is about as equitable as it gets. If you have other claims within this deal, then please take the time to list them clearly. Justin cannot get you the collareds that you expected, and we can argue all day as to how good the ones you received are, and get nowhere. To hold out until you get those exact lizards cannot happen, and I do not believe that to be your position here. Seems that what had been a very fruitful business arrangement, worth many $$$, has now been obliterated over a small amount of money. I'm no expert on the animals in question (although I actually caught an adult collared in the wild with my bare hands once!!), but it seems that you may be within $50 of an agreement here? Small price to pay to put this one to sleep and get on with things. Maybe you don't have the money right now, and just as Justin's need for it escallated matters, your inability to pay right now would be unfortunate, but you can work it out, either with a payment plan or animals. If that's the case, communicate with Justin on the side, and maybe mend a fence or two.

All of this "SPECULATION" was taken directly from YOUR posts...
You are saying one thing...and then sidestepping and saying another.

If you sent me a picture of a boa...and the boa you sent me had different markings (obviously NOT the same animal)...and I was not satisfied with the animal you sent me for WHATEVER reason...HELL YES I WOULD BE PISSED.

Unless you specificall stated that the animal in he picture would NOT be the animal you sent...but was a reasonable likeness...sounds like you sent pics of ADULTS...and sent him juveniles (by your own admission).

We have already established that NOTHING is FREE...when made part of a deal...regardless of you valuating them as *free* in the deal...then coming here and giving them per animal values to make you look like a good guy...they were PART OF THE DEAL...for an agreed price...making the deal a better one...but still part of the price nonetheless.

To give them a value later and say "Look what I did for this guy" is complete sanctimonious crap...they were part of the deal...a deal OFFERED by you...don't hold them over his head now.

Just communicate like an adult and make this deal good for both of you...

If this is the way you treat a loyal customer...I would hate to be a one time buyer...

I for one will not be doing business with you in the future just based on the petty way you have handled this entire transaction...

THIS is good business...
