    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I too am glad to hear John has some actions in the works. As the saying goes "The Only Thing Necessary for the Triumph of Evil is that Good Men Do Nothing"
I'm sure the less John say's the better it is for his case until the legal authorities get a chance to evaluate the situation.
I would think both a Legal and Civil case could be made.

Let me get this straight, Mr. Woolard paid Mr. jereme James$4500 in September for snakes which through no fault of his own, ended up in a rescue facility in another state. Mr. James received the snakes back. Mr. Woolard no longer wants the snakes. Mr. James has both the snakes and the money.
When a customer through no fault of theirs ,does not receive the merchandise , then decides for whatever reason that they no longer want the merchandise, there is no excuse not to issue a refund period.
Charge Mr. Woolard a 10% restocking fee, if it was a good price for said merchandise, seller should have no problem reselling it. It has been 3 months and no resolution? Do the right thing and refund the man his money!!

Worse than that, Jereme already sold the snakes. Sending them isn't even an option. A refund is the only option or it's theft, pure and simple.
 
This is bull crap, John is a top notch guy and his animals are amazing. This sucks for the industry and hurts everyone in the hobby. I hope everyone see's this and doesn't deal with this guy any longer
 
This whole situation is wrong on so many levels and it's all the responsibility of the Seller. It's important for us as fellow hobbyists shed the necessary light on Seller's like this to expose them for the thieves' and fraud's they really are. These are the types of people that drag down our hobby.
I do truly believe in Karma and I can see a lot of positive Karma coming John's way!!!
 
I can speak on a personal level when I say that I had a great experience with Jereme. Obviously some claim to have not had such great experiences but mine was excellent. I even traded him a female of mine and cash for a very expensive male and all went as good as I could have asked for. He was very nice and cooperative with me. Hope everyone else's issues get resolved though.

Just out of curiosity, why would you come here touting a good experience with him when he clearly has robbed this guy?

I get it, you're allowed to offer your own opinion and experiences here, but do you really want to come off as someone who is defending him by stating "obviously some claim to have not had such great experiences" when it is here in simple black and white that he screwed this guy?

Because I can. The BOI is about sharing your experiences with people and although y'all had troubles with him I was saying that I personally had not. I'm not defending him nor supporting him I am just saying that my experience with him was a good one.

I'm sure that Mr. James has many more satisfied customers whose transactions went seamlessly.
When someone's character and integrity are tested is when things don't go well, an animal dies in transit or an animal is mis sexed or a box of animals that were paid for is lost for more than a week and the customer requests a refund. This is where Mr. James has failed in my opinion. When the going got tough, rather than refund a man's money, he kept it. We can all justify our own actions to try and make ourselves feel better, but in the end, he has Mr. Woolard's $4000 and Mr. Woolard has nothing, he cannot really feel good about that.
 
If a seller does great by 99 out of 100 transactions, but really screws over that 100th customer, is the seller a good guy??

Bottom line is that Jereme James has seriously stolen (grand theft- it's 4,000!) this buyers money. The BOI has brought to light, many times over, fabulous sellers that slowly start to decline like this. Some people jump up and down, waving their arms frantically, and attempt to say about the seller that they've been good in the past. Well, great for the past.

This is about the current. Jereme James did this customer wrong.

NO ONE CAN ARGUE THAT JEREME JAMES STOLE THAT MONEY.
 
what I would like to know is why did Jeremy come on to try and explaine why he did what he did then dissapear? He should have known it would not go good, then he stopped letting a mob fester. Then he shows up on page 7 to give his rendition of the iguanas, then left again. I mean he knows this is all going on because he is obviously watching it and get notified when there is activity. All his classifieds ads are now gone even though he has many animals. Unless they are for sale under a friends account.

Who not to do business with, who to do business with 2.from this point foward, whenever I send a box of snakes, I do an even better job of taping the label to the box 3. Print out an additional FedEx shipping label, it costs you nothing and place it under the lid, on top of the styrofoam inserts.this way should the outside label be removed, the box doesn't even have to be fully opened to have it delivered to the proper addressee.

An invoice with everyone's contact information inside the box goes a long way too. I had a Fedex label come off and the box would have been lost in limbo without it. Like you said some extra tape too.
 
I am glad to report that John and I have mutually agreed not to bring this negative energy into the New Year and came up with an amicable agreement. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to all the un-needed stress I created to John and the reptile community. John and I have agreed to keep the agreement between us however, I can say that John took great measures to make this happen and I am thankful. We will have all items in the agreement finalized shortly and look forward to a positive start to the new years.
