    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If you have his address, you can contact the police department where he is and see if they can get in contact with him. Without producing a product (if you have a receipt for it), you could attempt to go after him for theft.

i have the transaction page from paypal but a receipt from him direct for the purchase i dont have until i get the rack... im wondering if i can use the paypal transaction page stating that the money was received but no product was sent to me...hmm...

Have you tried calling him on his cell phone? It is listed on his website. I've purchased two racks from him at two different times. Both transactions went very well and the racks are very well made. I do know he was having internet and computer issues at one time and that may be some of the problem.

He has had more problems with broken computers, internet, phones, eyes, houses, workers, alien abductions - whatever - to explain taking people's money without giving them racks in return. His cell phone either is too full to take messages or he doesn't return messages when you can manage to leave them.

The facts are that he has taken some people's money without giving them the racks they ordered, he continued to sell cages to OTHER people, he doesn't return messages (if you can even leave one), he doesn't return emails, his shopping cart on his website says "This store has been temporarily suspended from our service" as if it has been canceled, and some people are tired of his excuses about why he can't fill orders that are, in some cases, over 1 year old....but was able to complete NEW orders.

Yeah, he's painting himself a REAL PRETTY picture even if only half of this stuff were true.

here is a lil run down, i spoke with an officer from the Glasgow Police dept, i told him i paid for merchandise and never received it. as soon as i finished that line, u gave the the address of Rich's office... the officer said he has been receiving alot of phone calls on him and went to th address a couple months back and Rich has closed shop for about 4months ago ! :angry: the officer says that he had dissappeared and for me to google his name to see if i can find him home address. the officer knows of Rich and has dealt with him before, explaining the machines in his shop doesnt work, his is on back order, his workers quit , in the hospital, etc, etc.... :angry: he isnt theft unless they can prove he intentionally not making the rack n sending them out. richs uses he is on back order and unable to make racks cuz his workers quit. basically he can do a show n dance for months ! right now, im looking for his home address ! :dgrin:

I'm going to look it up, but why don't you post the number, etc. that you used to contact the police department so that others can easily see it and make the same contacts. It might help the police department actually do something. Most of these people didn't agree to allow their products to be back ordered, so he should be forced to return the funds.

Well, we know Rich is lying again. He has told people he FIRED his employees. If he can't fill his orders because he fired everyone, that might make a difference in court. Shrug?

He closed shop, that's enough for me to believe he wouldn't be making the racks and he took my money...hopefully you all have better luck and things get better.

this is what can be done, i spoke with an Officer Cousin, at the Chesapeake Police station filled a report on him and explain my story. she says if there is more people going through the same problem to call so they can push to go to the house, received a phone call 20minutes later and they are going to send it through the fraud investigator ! officer also told me to go onto

ic3.gov

just got a phone again, the chesapeake address show he last lived there in 2004. next address i found is

I am the landlord of the place in Glasgow Va. where Richard was operating, last time I talked to him was around the 3rd week of May 2008, on the day he told me that he was going to move to a new location by the end of May 2008. However as far as I know nothing has been moved out of there yet. I have not been able to contact him since.

when i spoke to the officer, he said rich closed shop before that... went to the shop and nothing was there... did he say where his new location is ? the town anything ? i heard he works for UPS, is this true....? as a landlord do u have any other info that could help to find where he is at ?

I trusted the guy when I leased the place and did not bother to get his home phone or home address, I live about 3 hours away from Glasgow however I have a guy mowing the lawn and last I talked to him he told me that everything was still as it was back in May. He still has all of the equipment and material in there, he also has some racks assembled in there. My email address is [email protected]
 
I had ordered some racks back in June of '07. After many delays, Rich sent me a pallet in March of '08. He sent me several extra racks, and even called a few times after that to make sure I was able to put them together. So I really don't think he ever intended to rip anyone off. I think he kept taking orders so he could keep things rolling, but I guess it didn't work out. The last time we spoke, he did mention that he had several other businesses, and that he had someone else running his plastics business. I could sure use some tub dividers.

This can be in your user info to the left or signed at the end of each post but your full name must be there or your posts could be deleted by the moderators.
I would suggest PMing Webslave and request that he place your full name into your profile but signing it after each post works just as well so long as it is there.
 
Well I finally had enough and fortunately Richard has none of my money. I bought 5 cages from him that were great earlier in the year...ordered 7 more..he told me he had the glass made and delivered and would have the cages done in a few days.....months ago. Well I bought my own plastic this week and spent about 6 hours cutting and dado-ing. Received the glass track on Thursday and put a few together. Tomorrow I will order all the glass and by the weekend should have my room finished.

Not sure what happened to Rich, I loved his cages....he seemed like a nice guy...and I assumed I would be doing business with him for awhile.

I hope all of you that are out money can work it out with him and I hope whatever his issues are he can work them out too. I guess I need to think about building the racks I was going to order from him next.
