You are of course assuming that he is a legitimate business with a business license.lucille said:Has anyone done a search for a financing statement? Many businesses borrow money and secure their loan with equipment, inventory, etc.
To 'perfect' these loans so that in the case of a bankruptcy, they come first, and to alert other possible loaners of their interest in the collateral, the secured party will file a financing statement (UCC1) in the Secretary of State's office.
Filing of finance statements on individuals is done in their state of principle residence; the filings by the secured party on corporations, LLCs, limited partnerships are in the state where they are registered, and by looking at the financing statement you can find out whether a business is a partnership, sole proprietorship, corporation and etc.
If High End Herps is not a corporation but an individual proprietorship chances are you might find a financing statement in the state where the proprietor lives.
The search can many times be done online and the costs vary by state but they are generally not extremely expensive.

also he did not have to finance anything. He already had all the animals.
Only thing he did was buy the property , move from cali, then pretend to be a legitimate business and pretend to be someone named David.
Give you one guess on whose name he probably used to buy said property.WebSlave said:If he bought property, then that property is registered to SOMEONE in the tax records.
Yup I knew i remembered seeing it before.Griz said:A simple call to the local county parish yielded the following results:
1568 Ward Rd. Oakdale, LA 71463 = registered to Tawni Beauchemin
This property is noted as being a mobile home with no taxable outbuildings.
No other property is allocated to either Tawni or a Damon.
So, a few questions naturally pop into my mind:
1) If your collection is so incredibly large AND if you are so successful as being one of the larger breeders, why would you invest your money into a mobile home when it has substantial depreciating value?
2) Why are your multiple breeding facilities not registered in either your or Tawni's name? If they are as large as both you and Dan state, then they would be taxable premises.
Yet 2 more things that don't add up.
