    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

A good guy doing this is not typical. Something is very wrong.

Some of us would like to know what it is. NOt to excuse Alex, but to understand if he has turned into a bad guy or if he's been kicked in the teeth and can't get himself up.

He's obviously down, reputation wize, but why?

Considering how often "family/personal emergency" comes up on bad BOI business transactions (sometimes legitimately, oftentimes not), it'd be nice if people were taught decent ways of dealing with this sort of problem. How to be a good businessperson is fairly well known when things are going right, but when they go wrong?
I know I, personally, wouldn't want to make excuses or bring up my personal business. But, if my personal business starts effecting my other business... well I think the only way to handle it is to tell people what's happening. Either stop taking new orders, or put a big note on your website AND tell the people who are waiting on you so that any potential buyers know what they're getting in to, the waiting buyers have at least some communication, etc.
I'd hope anyone with the apparent herp support base of Alex Hue would turn to asking donations of the herp world before scamming it and/or letting their business slip badly. But I suppose even the generosity of the herp world might not compare with $70,000
 
All I can see is Alex is trash based on this thread.
He has lots of money that doesn't belong to him and has disappeared. He has been made aware of this thread and has ignored it and his customers.
You are NEVER too busy to do the right thing.

Only when one has the proper information needed to eat said kind.

If he needs help, i certainly hope he'd ask for it, or explain it to the people owed/in limbo and hope that people are patient and willing to work with him on things being made right. No contact is a bad bad thing.... Even a newbie business owner knows that, so Alex is Guaranteed to know that * as for the people owed... I can understand THEIR need to have that kind of money back! Theres quite a bit of cash involved though that you PROBABLY shouldnt stop responding to the person it belongs to.*

in a way that i hope dosnt get construed wrongly as to my meaning.... yeah, i hope the situation warrants this kind of behavior, but in another way, i hope that life for him HASNT taken that kind of turn.

I wanna see this made right, and Alex come out dusting himself off. I DONT like seeing GOOD guys go down that rocky road even for a minute. We dont need this kind of crap in the hobby.

I understand some people are defending for Alex, but fact is fact. nobody can change it.
I ever trust Alex's reputation, so keep wait for a long time.

We dont control USFWS, its a goverment office.........we dont know how they handle permits over there, some permits I apply for....I get in 10-15 days, some permits 8-10 weeks and some permits longer.....like I said to you before, its out of our control how they handle the permits. I know some breeders that waited over a year to get a permit and I also know some breeders that only waited 4 days. I even have permits now for ball pythons and woma pythons for a buyer in the UK which I applied for 3 months afgter I applied for yours.

It is very inconsistent, you can ask any exporter here in the USA, they will all tell you that timing is very inconsistent.

My original way about it seems to def. be the wrong way however most but you on here have pointed out my wrong doing in a way I cant argue with.

Difference is that i will no longer act in the same manner as it does not help Alex or the situation at all. I think everyone needs to get used to the idea of weaning themselves off of the name calling and general interpersonal bickering that goes on here in this forum and on this site. I am requesting that it be voluntary and the adjustment not be too long in the making.

if there would be a TOS of alex it would not change this case since alex did not do his part of the deal meaning he prommised 12 week old but he wanted to send 6 gram geckos ( wich is baby imo ) not 12 week olds

hecne i cancelled the deal because he didnt do his side of the deal hence a TOS is there to prefent ppl from doeing stuff wrong in this case alex did the wrong so in no way can he say you wont get your monney back coz i say so...
