The majority of the people have done absolutely no bashing. They have simply requested more info and clarification.

You on the other hand appear to be just here to bash - if you want to say positive things about alex, fine, do so. What are you hoping to accomplish by accusing most folks here of just wanting to tear someone down? Hi Everyone, my first post on Fauna. The cage deal that the Yusuke Murai from Japan is true. They ordered a large number of rodent racks from us and was going through Alex to pay us. They sent Alex the funds (approx. $40,000) and when we were ready to ship, Alex could not be found. Our company had spent nearly two weeks getting this order ready. During this time, Alex ordered some frozen rodents from us for nearly $800.00. We still have not heard from him. I have sent many emails, phone calls, and mailings, with no reply.

The people from Japan that are out 10's of thousands of dollars are "good people" and did not deserve this. This is a lot of money and has hurt them. I wish them all the luck in getting their money back from Alex. I hope that they are able to pursue criminal action as well.

I think doing ANY business with ALEX HUE, at best, would be VERY RISKY. He clearly comes off as a typical CON MAN. There will ALWAYS be a reason, excuse, or you just simply can't get a hold of them. Good luck to all of you who have been duped buy ALEX.

While it's commendable Alex's "friends" come here from his forum to defend him, the facts are the facts. I do not believe that Alex is so removed from civilization that he cannot address the issues and defend himself here, if there is indeed a defense.
I do not believe that Alex is sooo busy and isolated that he cannot at least privately contact the parties involved to resolve the issues he created.

I do not believe that the overseas customers have lied nor fabricated their stories in order to profit from Alex. In fact, the overseas customers are at a definite disadvantage when it comes to recouping their money and Alex is quite aware of that fact, as he eluded to in his emails to them. They also gave him ample time to rectify the problems BEFORE posting here.
Alex is the one who has profited a great deal of money from them!

He knows this thread exists; he's been advised by more than one person; yet he continues to ignore the issues and ignore the customers who sent him their hard-earned cash in good faith.

Yes, Alex has enjoyed a stellar reputation for a long time, and rightfully so. However, doctored photos and thousands of dollars accepted with no product or services rendered in exchange, a disappearance and apparent lack of concern or willingness to resolve customer issues do tend to lead to one conclusion.

To those friends who suddenly appear here to defend him, I would ask; what if it was YOU? You'd be singing a whole different tune, I'm sure.

I paid $ 100,000 for a ball python.
It was April, 2007.

Alex sent the part of the ball python in July, 2007 and December, 2007.

I paid $ 40,500 to Alex for ARScaging racks.
It was the end of October, 2007

It was February 2008 when Brian was ready for the rack.
I did not have contacting Alex from this time.

one thing you have to understand is Alex hue has been a stand up breeder and known in the industry for sometime. I think that some folks are truly shocked to see a post like this. I am not saying that you don't have legit claims but i can see how others would be quick to jump the gun to defend him. earthpig is a good guy as well as the others at Alex's forum as its kinda like a family there. I am on there all the time and i really don't think anyone knew about any of this.

Maybe because there really is no comparison between Rich's post and yours. He stated that he has known and done business with two of the parties here. He stated he didn't know what to think about what was going on. As many of us know, Alex's reputation has been nothing short of stellar for many years.

Stark difference between defending Alex and your first post suggesting that Yusuke was a scammer, that Erik photoshopped the picture, and that Derek and Richard are bad buyers.

Nobody else while making simple statements that Alex's word has been good for many years took the extra step to call those that have stated they have had problems with Alex as being dishonest.

Vastly different approach with your posts with really no comparison to be made.

this thread is here for a few reasons none of those reasons are to let ppl talk down on eichother for no reason at all, if ppl feel the need to defend alex for his actions while said person will not even step up by himself , it is still the right of this friends to do so if he or she feels this is nessesary , its a show of loyalty.

although i myself do thisnk this loyalty is currently misplaced since alex hue does not step up by himself and even if he would step up by himself now, the dammage is quite big and substantial that it would be almost impossible ( if all ppl have a legit claim ) to set straight ( read more then 70.000 dollars.)

No one knows if something truly terrible is happening to Alex to cause him to let his business and reputation go. He has worked very hard for a very long time to build them. What would it take for a good guy to let it go? Something truly horrific unless he was a bad guy in disguise. Alex never, ever, seemed to be a bad guy.

If his mother is sick, perhaps he did not get the ball pythons he was supposed to and could not fill an order. Maybe his exporter switched geckos and sent smaller ones than Alex originally shipped. Maybe Alex wanted to fill that order so he sent geckos he shouldn't have.

Before the rest of his throat is removed, maybe someone should check to see if there might not be a good guy who needs a hand with some serious problems instead of lighting the bonfire.

i have tried and i have givin him allot of time to respond and send my monney back ,

this soly because a friend of mine and him asked me to .

now its been more then half a year . the reason for cancelation on my part was realy easy , he did not stick to the deal and i lost annimals because of this ( yes they died ) i didnt want this a 2cond time ( sending small babys oversees is a NO GO for me hecne i cancelled wich is not a ... oe you cancelled now its my monney thing since in this case HE broke the deal )

and even if there would be a clause and even if it would be me that cancelled to late ( 2 to 3 weeks before shipment ) it would still be my monney since such a clause is not law binded and or legal.

I do agree with this Cat.... and i have been wondering, but not posting... whether or not ANYONE has had contact with Alex at all within the past week or so? And if those people DO have contact, even relaying the message to him that there is some issues he NEEDS to address.

What about his wife? Shes running the place right? ( whos taking care of the animals then, if not her?) cant SHE make contact? Are people picking up phones and calling?

Im totally understanding of the family thing... But it still dosnt explain Eriks Not so yellow pastel (which, while yeah it is different.... Erik didnt want to do anything about it, so that can sort of rest as is.... ) and the ZERO contact with ANYONE. Even a Mass Email can be sent with a few words typed, and a couple clicks. Does he not have any friends that know whats going on, even just a basic idea that they can say "Hey, Alex IS really busy right now dealing with some stuff, He will get back to you" or SOMETHING??

Making people wait aint cool.....and while im totally sympathetic of family emergency situations, or heck even people getting too over burdened *and they were just not prepared for it like they should have* There has to be a line drawn somewhere....
