Invoice #1316 - BHB 9/14/2007 $3,675.00
How is BHB involved in this? Did I miss something.
Let me explain about how BHB was involved this…
At NARBC in Anaheim, September 2007, I bought some animals from BHB. Just before I paid to BHB, Alex told Brian that he would pay for the animals, because Alex has my money (credit). The invoice #1316 from BHB in the balance sheet was for this payment. However, I know that Brian has not received this payment from Alex, as of to this date. I know a couple of more people who have not received the money that Alex owes them. As far as I know, those people cannot get in touch with him, neither.
I guess, everyone is wondering how Alex got into the business with me and Brian. Or why I did not back off from business with Alex after the first shipment? The answer is because I trusted Alex very much. However, after I could not get in touch with Alex, I realized that I was fooled by him.
Alex told me that he had three business partners. Those partners were very well-known people, Bob Ashley, Brian Barczyk, and John Mack. However, there are no such partnership between them and have never… Alex fabricated that four of them have one big business partnership. According to what he told me, Bob dealt with books, T-Shirt, and other merchandise, John and Brian bred animals, and Alex dealt with international customers. Those are all LIES. They do not have any business partnership. I also can tell you that all of Bob, Brian, and John are nothing to do with Alex. Three of them do not have any relationship with Alex more than a customer.
As far as I can go back my emails, it looks like it was August 2006, when Alex mentioned about his “partners”.

Hello Ayumi,
Glad to hear from you and glad to know all the animals arrived safely.
We do business with alot of companies in Japan ;-) We are one of the largest exporters to Japan, UK, and the rest of Europe. I'm greatful for every customer I have like yourselfs and I'm always constantly trying to do more and offer more to good customers like you. We produce alot of reptiles here annually and if we dont produce it...I know all of the large breeders here in the USA where I can get just about any animal. I have 2 other partners, between the 3 of us...we can provide overseas customers with everything in reptiles, books, clothing, or any other reptile related merchandise. If you ever need anything or if you ever have any problems...just let me know and I'm always available to help any way I can.
I will call my partner and ask him what the first name of Mr. Watanabe is, but he told us that his company name is Samurai Japan. Thats why I thought maybe he is a part of your company?
The substrate product is brand new, so far we have contracts with all of the big companies ( Petco, Petsmart, Jacks Aquarium,....etc.) here in the USA to distribute it but I'm always looking for other distributors too. The pricing for you is $6.00 per bag in any quantities, we can export a number of ways using ocean freighters, air cargo or any other options. We package 6 bags per box for distributors...for largeer quantities, we package 6 bags per box and 4 boxes inside of a larger box.
I will not be at the Daytona show, I broke my ankle last week and can not get around efficiently. My partners will be in Daytona...I wish I could make it to the show because I have 20 or so other customers from Japan, UK, Sweden, and France that will be there also.
Anyways, thank you for the continued business...its is much appreciated!
Alex
He did not mentions their names in the emails, but later he told their names when Ayumi spoke with him on the phone. But, you probably can see it in this email, who Alex referred to as his partners:

Hello Ayumi,
Just to recap our conversation......
Mr. Suzuki and Mr. Shiota would like to be the "exclusive distributor" for our reptiles in Japan, he has a new partner...Mr. Shiota of www.topcreate.jp , I have done business with both Mr. Suzuki and Mr. Shiota, Mr. Shiota is currently my distributor for HatchRite in Japan... www.HatchRite.com
I told him that we would currently not be interested in giving anyone "exclusive" distributorship of our reptiles in Japan. He also asked about ball pythons, I have not sent any lists to Mr. Suzuki or Mr. Shiota for any reptiles.
I also stated that Yusuke is our distributor for ball pythons in Japan, I believe that he may be a little bit upset because it is very hard for him to find ball pythons here in the USA. Almost all of the big breeders here in the USA give me first opportunity at buying their ball pythons, so I know that not many breeders here are selling them to anyone else but me.
Anyways, I hope this doesnt create a problem for Yusuke...but I did want him to know that he is currently the only person we are selling ball pythons to in Japan.
Thanks,
Alex

Hello Ayumi,
Just let me know if I'm missing anything and I can try to go get more pics.
My facility here in Michigan is 4700 sq. ft., my partners facility is 22500
sq. ft.....he is 4 hours away from me...my partner and I just opened up a
2500 sq. ft. warehouse in Florida to hold and quarantine all of the wild
caught animals we import from other countries...we have a guy down there who
clears the customs, houses and takes care of the imports until they're safe
and ready to ship to me or my partner. In the past...we use to ship the wild
caught imports directly to our facilities....but we had problems with
viruses and some other nasty things....too much risk.
I have to look into the CITES some more.....its really starting to get me
curious why you got approved so fast and most of us big exporters/breeders
are waiting so long...all of this waiting started this past year, in the
beginning of 2006 and past years, we typically only wait 4-6 weeks...then it
was...6-8 weeks...and then 10-12 weeks...now its ridiculous...over 12 weeks.
Thanks Ayumi,
Alex
When I visited Alex in Michigan, I have to say, he did take care of me very well. He introduced me “his partners” or I was introduced to Bob, Brian, and John. This is the itinerary of my trip that Alex prepared for me.

Hey Ayumi,
Is the arrival on the 17th. And departure on the 19th. ?
Please let me know asap and I'll put a itenerary together, I'll email it to
you and we can see which scehdule works best.
Here is what I'm thinking......
17th.
Arrival between 3-8PM @ Dayton International Airport
-I will pick up Yusuke from the airport
-Have dinner
-Drop him off at Hotel and get him checked in
18th.
Pick him up at 10AM-11AM, meet with my partner and have lunch
-spend most of the day in our Ohio Facility
-approx. 5-6PM, leave Ohio and head for Michigan
-Arrive in Michigan at 9-10PM ( 4hrs drive )
-check into hotel
19th. ( Michigan )
Pick him up at 9-10AM and head to our Michigan facility
-Lunch at 12-1 PM
-return to facility
-leave facility at 3-4PM
-Drop Yusuke off at Detroit International Airport
---OR----
19th. ( OHIO )
Pick him up at 10-11AM
- return to Ohio facility
----or----
- drop off Yusuke back at Dayton International airport on a early flight
Let me know if that works for Yusuke, that way he can see both our Michigan
and Ohio facility....if that is too much then the best thing to do is goto
our Ohio Facility...it is a much bigger facility and much more to see ;-) If
we only goto the Ohio facility then the best thing to do is arrival on the
17th. Evening ( I'll pick him up ) , spend the 18th at the facility and I'll
drop him back off at Dayton International airport early on the 19th., he
will not have to rent a car......dont make any hotel reservations either, we
can make the hotel reservations same day depending on which location we will
be staying at.
I have not gone to pick up the animals yet.....I didn’t get a chance to goto
the bank and make a cash withdrawal, I am now planning to go on Mon or Tues,
I apologize for the delay but a lot of this was last minute and I didn’t
make the arrangements quick enough.
Thanks again Ayumi!
Alex
I think Derek is right about that Alex did not have CITES animals for his customers. I even doubt that Alex applied CITES for his customers…
The email on 11/27/07 was NOT true. Alex told me that part of my order was stored at Brian’s facility. He even told me that he had a half ownership of Brian’s facility. When I visited Brian’s facility, Alex showed me the animals that I ordered so that I believed that my animals were taken care of for me. When I asked Brian about the email on 11/27/07, he told me Alex never paid for the animals. I think I know why I did not received the animals I ordered in the first shipment.
I was not sure if I should bring this up to the public… First, I was not sure whom I could believe. I also wanted to settle the issues privately if Alex returns my money. But, I now see other people who have the similar issues with Alex as mine. I feel bad because I may be able to stop it if I brought up earlier… In my opinion, Alex is a full of lies. I do not trust him. I think he targets international customers and takes advantage of them.
I do not believe all his excuses because of his credibility. I think he probably has internet connection or other ways to communicate with us. Even he does not have internet, he can at least call me. I never changed my number.
