In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Howlin' Gale Dragons

Jumping the gun!? After two emails you consider that Jumping the gun!? You REFUSED to admit YOU might have been WRONG. You have no other proof to back up your claims.

He has Photos that prove the animal has an injury, you are telling me that that injury happened during shipping and HEALED during that time too???

ooh dont forget aaron mentioned that she has a 24 hours guarantee thats the reason why he did this and nicole you kinda are ruining you name you showing every one here that you dont care if your customers are happy with you dragons and bring up a problem

Russ Johnson

It would be a good thing for your business (imo) that you guys agree to disagree, give him the 25 back and be done with each other. That way regardless if you think you did nothing wrong, it is still handled respectfully and further customers will see this. Just a thought.

this is from her web page i would freak out too if i paid 250 for a dragon and i had a problem with this guarantee

Guarantee Live Arrival as long as the package is signed for on the first delivery attempt, If you fail to sign on first attempt the Guarantee is void. There is a 24 Hour Health Guarantee on all reptiles after that we can not be held responsible for any problems.

I am not ruining my name in any manor the buyer jumped the gun and is bashing me he came right out pretty much telling me It happened in my care?

You're coming pretty close to ruining your reputation.

The buyer did not jump the gun. You told him, in absolute terms, with no room for uncertainty, in a way that did not invite further exploration of the topic that you were not at fault and would not discuss the issue. You closed the communication through your adamant and unwavering responses. As far as your position was, from the posted emails, you had refused to acknowledge his dissatisfaction and ended any further discussion.

Was he supposed to assume you were lying when you responded and keep pushing you? Was he supposed to wait around for a few days after you blew him off just to see if you'd randomly change your mind and get back to him?

He told you it was present when the animal was inspected shortly after arrival. That means it either happened in your care or during shipping (although the "beardies bite their own toes off from stress" argument is absolutely idiotic- completely and utterly removed from anything factual and frankly one of the dumbest things I have seen written on this site since Scolaro was banned), either way it would be your responsibility as a dealer to address the problem... the problem that was brought to your attention inside your own stated guarantee period.

That wound is no where near healed it looks fresh I have seen many wounds not only with the one I got shipped and did it to herself but In Rescues I have worked with.

Yes I admit I might have been a bit...Rash with my emails but I will also say he did this on a bad day I am NOT looking for pity but my good friend died from cancer the day after I saw him and It effected me pretty badly he was like a father in many ways. ONCE AGIAN IM NOT LOOKING FOR PITTY But it dose suck that one day someone looks good considering they are going to die them BAMM! They are gone (Car Show was for him his family brought his car there and a bunch of pictures there where over 100 Cars there he was hated by no one)

I do really feel DEEPLY hurt by Aaron as there was truly no reason to go to the BOI that quick...two emails is far from enough time and he truly could have called me and asked why I wasn't emailing back or whatever he was thinking I was NOT Ignoring him like he thinks I was not home.

Here is what I Will do

AARON

I am sorry she came with a nip I truly do not think it happened here I am VERY anal about my dragons to the point some breeders call me nuts as they think keeps groups of no more then 5 is a waste of room. My tanks are safe I custom built them for babies as I wanted to give them the best start to life (Smooth Wood, no areas to catch toe nails what not and easy to clean [Too many horror stories of diseases in colonies with other breeders] ) I will say you said I gave you a guarantee yes I did though it really dose not cover this situation it is just if dragons comes ill (URI/Coccidia/Other things) Not nip/abrasions just so we are clear there. Also Pick of the Clutch to me may be very different then others see we all have different opinions buy to me Pick of the clutch means that whoever buys it gets to pick first baby even before me it doesn't mean babies perfect, best looking, what not I sold pick of the clutch once before this and the buyer bought a baby missing half a tail they where fully told of it and they didn't care they just loved the color.

I admit it COULD have happened here though I Don't feel it did I am NOT denying there isn't a wound I never denied it nor would I as I'm not blind but honestly that looks like some kind of abrasion like from rubbing or catching it in something it will heal if you keep it clean (Betadine Scrubs + Neosporn) Most of the time in a nip they lose whatever it was I have a female dragon with half a tail, one male with only two toes on one foot but it never effects them it's just cosmetic. Not saying it doesn't effect look of dragons just doesn't effect the health or quality of life which is most important and she is a GREAT looking dragon with a great personality. If you buy another dragon from me down the road I will give you a deal on it though it will be a bit before I have much for sale I have two more weeks give or take a few days before anything hatches out as I stagger my clutches so usually I am not raising more the one clutch at a time that gives me more time to give attention to my current babies.

To Everyone Else

I am a Very professional person I take great pride in the high quality dragons I produce I have had people tell me they are almost friendly to a fault Aaron simply picked the wrong time to jump the gun in such a manor there was truly no reason for a BOI on a minor thing like this.

So your solution is to have him send you more money, even though he wasn't satisfied with what he received from the money he already sent... and you're still putting all the blame for the injury AND the breakdown in communication on his head?

Lady, I don't know what you think the word "Professional" means but you definitely ain't it.

Seamus Haley it is not idiotic I have seen more then one dragon bite it's own toe off I can try to get a copy of the vet record on a female I got in that bit her own toe of during shipping as I had to get a Cone put on her because she wouldn't STOP trying to damage her own toe more heck here is a picture of her in the Cone

The other dragon in the picture is a juvie I rescued he had MBD from neglect from his former owner

Did you tell the OP that the above statement is how you judge "Pick of the Clutch"?
Anytime I hear "Pick of...anything" I think it's going to be the best example of it's "breed" especially if a good amount of money is involved.
I myself have spentover 2k on my Pugs and they were not Pick of the litter, but best believe that if I had dropped another 1k for a specific show dog and it was not show material I would be mad!
The dragon was this guys "pick of the litter" for his breedings. With anyone being ultra specific on how they wanted the dragon to look it is safe to assume he wanted the BEST YOU HAD, not what YOU FELT was the best.

Amazing, now aaron is supposed to know what is going on in your life?? Your really going to blame him for this??

Not professional? I'm not the one acting like a know-it-all Seamus saying draongs NEVER bite thier toes off they do I've herd of many cases of it Aaron said he was never going to ask for a refund I originally was going to give one but I jsut can't see doing that after a BOI on something so minor being posted he got an apology like he asked for Now stop your petty mud slinging

All those run on sentences and incorrect punctuation was giving me a headache .

Did I say he was suppose to know about the death? Nope He should not have gone to the BOI in a matter of hours that is not enough time to work anything out if he would have waited I would have had time to chill over my friends death but it seems that all people care about on the boi is making them selves look oh so wronged and make people look like crap instead of giving proper time and patients

You specifically said that they bite their own toes off from shipping stress... which is an absurdity.

If they're chewing on their own foot, you should look for... get this... foot problems. An irritant, an injury, sloughing rolls that are causing circulation issues and clotting... It's not that they would never chew on their own feet, it's that they never chew on their own feet without some underlying reason. A symptom and a cause aren't identical and your deductive leap from one anecdotal personal experience of foot chewing (undiagnosed apparently) to "it happens as a result of shipping" is just... so monumentally short sighted and narrow minded as to be laughable.

Or it would be laughable if you weren't using it as a flimsy excuse to dick over a customer.

yeah... i just shook my head at that one..... Tried typing up a response.... but you know, you can only talk to a brick wall for so long.

That's about where I am on this one. Every time I read yet another response and how entirely stupid it sounds I just can't even begin to come up with anything to respond with.

I'm not dicking anyone over he is just as wrong as I was and I work with a very good Reptile vet she has seen many dragons damage themselves from shipping you are narrow minded thinking it can never happen maybe you should spend some time with a reptile vet learn some things.

I'm just going to quote my own post at you, since you didn't seem to get it the first time.
