In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Howling gale bearded dragons

:rotflmao:

My email is full of Fauna replies to this... Soooo I finally click on one and I feel as if I walked in a Digital Photography class...

Dragons stress, but usually you'll see their true color when they're asleep. Did Sheena post the pics with the stress lines yet?

Someone brief me because I'm lost... I'm gonna grab a beer, I better have atleast 1 pm summarizing this for me (joking, kinda)

Only color guarantee I have is that the animal will look better than the pics I take. What is this BS about color guarantees anyway. WTF happened to customer satisfaction. Regardless of what you think, if the customer wants a refund just give the damn refund. Why is this so hard to swallow for everyone? Its not like youre LOSING the money, if it wasnt for them you wouldnt have the money. You just go back to square one.

If the customer isnt your priority but your bottom line is, go into insurance sales.

People buy animals for breeding, for pets, for whatever. Their eyes and heart light up when they see and sign for the package. If theyre disappointed in any way, you failed as a seller and should bite the bullet and give back the money.

I do not have it anymore on my PC but I emailed my friend who works on my website to see if he still has it I know he took it off site but he may still have the file on his computer as soon as I hear from him I will let you know and send it to you Jessica

Is this the same friend that HAS photoshop?Would it be hard to think that you did have something to do in altering the pics? The "I didn't even have photoshop program" kinda doesn't fly now,in my eye's...

the other issue is if the OP possibly has her photo downloads set to autosave into photoshop cause the post with the 2 photos from the OPs site one has photoshop in the editing and one does not. and they both look identical so it is highly possible that the photoshop editing being seen has nothing to do with the color of the dragon.

The saturation and sharpeness are auto corrected with the high end DSLR cameras unless the functions are turned off. In this case the breeder does not "appear" to know much about the camera as of yet. In my opinion yes the photo was touched up slightly by the camera but i honestly do not think the color was missrepresented. Now when the OP posts the pictures that have been requested to see if the animal is stressed i will re-investigate my statements here.

Plus Brian look at the back right leg of the dragon in the sales picture... Its in shed isnt it. looks like a smoke gray to me if your having a hard time, compare it to the back left leg where there is alittle more color.... thats showing you before Sheena received that dragon its legs have already shed. so to try and say this animal is going into full body shed after the legs have already shed seems highly unlikely to impossible... So really its either dull and stressed or photo shopped... if its photo shopped Sheena deserves a full refund. If that animal colors up and wasnt photo shopped Nicole deserves full payment and quite a few apologies. But i guess we will find out with a few more days under our belt...

Hold up here.

Shenna, if this animal is SOOO bad, how come it's already up on your website listed as your "HOT NEW GIRL"....ALONG with a baby picture AND the in question "photoshopped" picture?
(Don't worry, I saved screenshots and the pictures just in case you decide to pull them from your website)

Baby picture (note: no photoshopping stamp on this picture)

I asked my buddy who dose my web site he dose not have Photo Shop either

Did he say weather he would produce the original photo for ya for the data check spoke of earlier to see if there was photoshop used in the original photo? That way it could be proved one way or the other gale.:D

I am confused, you think the picture was touched up meaning it was lightened an brightened? then you say the color was not missrepresented. Saying that dragon is that red but not ot the moment??? i am confused.

I am with you on that WHERE ARE THE SIDE SHOTS OF THIS DRAGON??? Hello sheena you want to help us out here???

what type of camera do you use Tom?

cause yes the photo is adjusted automatically by dslr cameras if that feature is not turned off. in fact some of the higher end cameras even have photoshop built into them (though the the cannon does not).

So yes the photo more than likely auto adjusted by the camera but IMO i do not think the photo was maliciously edited by the seller like people are saying. It is possible in shipping for a dragon to look that much less bright. Did you notice the difference from out the box to whenever the pic of it in the OPs hands? So who is to say what the color may look like in a day or two once the dragon acclimates to its new surroundings. I think this post may have been premature in nature. We will see.

Ok just seen this.

Thats not what is in question it is def. the same dragon... She is being accused of photo shopping these pictures... Making the color brighter...

Honestly maybe we need a trust worthy person to clarify if the picture was cropped or not... Doesnt one of the mods usually step in and straighten a confused situation out?

Not necessarily. Sometimes they prefer to stand back and let nature take its course.

:>off_to<: But i will humor you...

My camera is a Nikon cool pix s 550. Why buy a 800 dollar camera for 800 dollar pictures when i got a 100 dollar camera getting 800 dollar pictures. Been using this camera since i been posting and i think it captures my dragons for what the are no more, only sometimes less. There's another point how many dragons look better in there pictures than in person??? What's the biggest used phase when describing a hot dragon. "this picture does not do it justice". How many times have we heard that

So how about a straight answer IYO was the photo cropped??? whether its alittle bit or alot? cause your not really gettin to any direct point unless i am missing it?

Post pre mature? yea i'll go with that, but if someone is posting proof that it was photo shopped. Then it needs to be brought up sooner than later... Thats why i said give it a week. (for it to color up) some times a dragon needs more than a day or so...

No it is not shlages I pay this guy to do my website

Ok he sitll has the picture but he can't send as it is in a Java program he is downloading the Exifer and I will take a screen shot of the results and post

The original image file is in a java file..... that makes absolutely no sense. Either he still has the original jpg or gif image or he doesn't, there are no two ways about it.

Tomorrow post pictures of her outside in the light, have the camera set on auto. Upload the pictures directly to photobucket and post links.
