    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I recieved my partial refund through pay pal of 75.00 so as for me the case is closed but I just want to thank everyone on here forall your help and great info

Please let them know that you got a partial refund and you agreed that you would return the $75 if needed

Also if you can let them know threatening my business is not intelligent that is illegal. I wont post on the BOI anymore as they went out of control with the threats to me; if they want to see real photo shopped pictures tell them to look at Blood Banks dragons for sale.

Glad you were able to get some sort of resolve from her even though its just settling.

Nicole, I am glad to see that you were able to resolve this situation and I hope some maturity as well as some growth will come to you so that you will contribute to the industry far more and better in the future. I dont mean that as an insult. I think we ALL need to learn from our customers as well as our own practices. In the long run, you will gain valuable experience from this transaction, as well as the post that Sheena says this situation is closed with an acceptable resolve.

You have a lot more patience with this person than I would. She clearly tried to scam people, then, when she was busted red handed, she finally made a concession.

Avoid this person like the plague. She is bad news.
 
I have high patience, yes. But, thats not to say that I would do business today with her. I am hoping that she is still young enough to learn from her mistakes so that someday she will be able to recover from a bad thread.

$75 is crazy! You bought what was pictured in the add for $245 ..The picture is/was altered with photo shop otherwise it's probally safe to say you wouldn't have bought that dragon.

Why settle for a partial refund? And Nicole has the balls to ask for the $75 back when the dragon settles in and colors up?....How exactly will/could that happen when the pic was altered.

You didn't get the dragon pictured which is what you wanted and deserve a 100% refund, and none of that minus the shipping BS either.

Nicole could KMA if she ever thought she was going to see that $75 back..I'ld rather flush it down the toilet

Hey John,

Ya I already know that there is more than one, at least this shows one somewhat "resolved" you know. We ALL can easily get ONE bad thread on us even if we do everything right. But, you and I among most people our age will do what we need to do to make someone happy. Our generation(s) know better because we were taught differently. I am just "hoping" that we, the older generations, can teach the younger ones to do things the right way.

If my sons ever treated a customer in a similiar fashion, they would never have me to help them with anything... EVER. I am a hard stepdad but this is MY hobby that I happen to let them enjoy. :rofl: Thank god they are still young enough to listen to me when it comes to dealing with reptiles.
 
I just thought of something... If she's been selling animals under false advertising, meaning using altered pictures, aren't ALL of the prior customer's entitled to something technically?
Just asking.

Legally speaking, I would assume so. However, you would have to find a judge to actually understands this industry where color and other odd things is what make the animal. You would have to hope that the judge doesnt assume a bearded dragon is a bearded dragon is a bearded dragon etc..

This would not fall under the false advertising umbrella either. It would more fall into a "gross misinterpretation of product", I would think. I am not a legal advisor so I dont know for sure.

You gotta be kidding. You think it's OK to misrepresent an animal, take someone else's hard earned money, then, after they realize they have been screwed, tell them the problem is with them?

I just meant if someone else was unhappy due to the same situation should she be responsible.Not saying sue her.

For one, this thread is not about me. Thankfully its not about YOU either so stop trying to hijack this thread. I never once said it was ok to do what she did. You are doing anything constructive by posting, several times now attacking everyone ELSE but one, the OP and the OOP. All I stated is that I hope she learns from HER mistakes. Hopefully, whatever wrong she has done or will do, she wont turn out to become you.

Yes, it truly is, but I dont feel she was thinking straight... Kind of like a "heat of moment" posting admitting to selling sick animals, but not outright stating that. If she is knowingly doing that, then there will never be a recovery to a reputation and she should never sell another animal.

As for the other part, I think the only recourse would be a court of law.

Blatant lies and denial only seem to come out when up against a wall. The denial is immaturity, we all know that. As for the lies, well, thats just embarrassing to her, not us.

The BOI is a hard place as we all know. The whole problem with this situation is that it should have never gotten this far. Nicole should have bitten the bullet and took care of the customer right from the start. I truly hope that she can learn from this and become a better dealer, for her customers sake.
