• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Hurricane Exotics: Adam G.

What are you even arguing about? What can you say about ignoring us two weeks after we got her when we told you what was wrong? You have no argument to why you ignored us. We received her the 30th. And the 31st we messaged you about the wrist. Then the 13th we messaged you over concerns about MBD which we probably wouldn't have been able to tell in 24 hours. It took time observing her. So it was 2 weeks after. When it comes down to MBD I don't believe there is a way we could have known within 24 hours. But we did voice concerns over the wrist the next day. But you still haven't said why you never even replied when we told you we took her to the vet. You dropped all conversation.

Adam, you know this can only go a couple ways. Your story has been shown to be suspect (at least) and maybe downright deceitful.

1. Fall on your sword. Not your fault. Fade into Fauna Sunset.

2. Swallow your pride. Return OP's money, send him another dragon, whatever. Be a hero.

I will decide in what feels right to determine what I feel is fair after this dispute. I don't need you to give good advice and then give bad after every other message as in attempt to mediate. Mind you Calculate your Date's correctly for the SENT TEXT It was in Aug. (8) not Sept. (9). And there was communication, of course they buyer wouldn't want that to self incriminate a claim. Im not in this to be a HERO. Im in this to do a hobby and Properly.

I will decide on my personal time to relieve this matter as reasonable and affordable as possible. I would advise another thread to entertain at this point. I don't need one person to dictate on what I should and Shuldnt DO. Im not in this business to give away merch. for free, but of course able to back them up with time pitched accordingly.

Im not even concerned with the vet report right now its the fact that he sold a dragon with a wrist issue and didnt disclose that info
that alone I (if me who purchased) would be asking for a refund

And another one scampers off into the sunset.

If that whats makes you feel better. Legitimate business while go justified, Where is the text showing the Date the DAY AFTER?. Which is false. This could have been professionally organized and negototiated through email or PM to avoid children mooching off of other's drama.

Done Arguing. And the only reason you'll see me in the sunset, because you'll watch me so FAR AHEAD of you as you stare at the END of YOUR DAY because I feel as if "ROB"... will be "LATE" in chasing the Shine. Thanks for the falsifications in this post and allowing me to defend my self.

Thanks Harald. And the community in hearing this out.

file a dispute with your bank they will back you up and pull the money from paypal
figure out the details of shipping the dragon back and be done with this be atleast you have some way to protect yourself

Mike P, it's to late to file any claim. Returning the dragon for a full refund at this point in time isn't even a plausible solution.

Rob, You do have a point on Adam waiting to respond to this issue in the beginning, but I can't see how that is even relevant at this time.

Little insults will not solve this issue, it will do the opposite!

I only brought the legitimacy of the Vet records to prove a point towards someones idiotic comment, that's all.

The swollen wrist issue is kinda pointless at this time. Even if the buyer wasn't aware of it prior to shipping, he did have the option of returning the dragon.

Adam, you can question the Vet record all day, but it doesn't change the fact that it can be legit. If so, then that only proves that you willingly, or unwillingly new the dragon had MBD. Do you think it's worth the risk and ignore this?!

This can go back and fourth for ever and not come to an end that satisfy"s both sides.
You both need to put your selves in the other shoes for a moment and understand that you can't always control everything.

Adam, you seem like a deceit guy who believes in a respectable business. In doing so, sometimes it's just best to do the right thing even if you believe your not at fault. Business etiquette 101.

You both need to get on the phone and work out a solution to this, keep tempers a bay and just be understanding to each other on this matter...

I tried to steer clear of the MBD, as I figured it would be contestible.

Buyer: Dragon has a wrist issue.
Seller: That was discussed.

Buyer: I'm worried.
Seller: No vet.

Buyer: Vet says MBD.
Seller: Different dragon.

Buyer: Texted 8/1 (ish), 8/13(ish), BOI 9/15(ish), etc.
Seller: You didn't contact me in time.

Seller has done several things he has failed to explain adequately, if at all. In addition to above, there's Harald's ignored question, cropped photos, etc. Clearly, none of this is his fault  .

my bank will take care of things within 6 months and im sure if you press the issue they will resolve it a little after that time has past.
the buyer was complaining about the dragon from the beginning the seller assured him it wasnt a problem and not to go to a vet BIG red flag
personally I would of said to send the dragon back once I noticed the wrist but 100% after the other problems came to light

Sofaking im not sure how you can look past the problem of the seller not saying anything about the wrist before hand
its the same as a nip/bite,scar,ect the condition of the dragon is not as described
they are cropped in the pictures unless you know what you are looking for you wouldnt see it in the advertisement from the website

call the bank see what they will do its only around 150 days

Mike P
You need to wipe the sleep from your eyes, I never looked past the wrist issue. The buyer has stated numerous times that's not the " main " issue, so why beat a dead horse!
You keep regurgitating the same response about filing a refund with the bank, even though it's been 5 months or so. Wouldn't that be considered being a thief?! I don't see any logic in that, nor any true thought behind that statement.

It's not to intelligent to strong-arm someone into doing the right thing, show me one thread on the BOI that proved that tactic worked?! There is none, because is creates the opposite effect.

Rob
I have never said Adam had any fault, so point me to where I mentioned that?

Mike C- I don't think that was even directed at you. I may have read your post and told myself there's no way Adam's getting on the phone with the OP, as he (Adam) has answers for everything and doesn't think he's done anything wrong.

OP said he's not looking for anything; I don't think Adam would offer him anything. I think this thread has provided sufficient information for people to be leery of doing business with Adam. More than anything, I think my last post was a summary, not a rebuttal to you (Mike C).

so its alright for the seller to not respond for months and not take care of this problem
you can call it strong arming I call leveling the playing field the buyer has no protection from the seller without it
I think its clear adam has no intentions of doing the right thing
theft would be the seller keeping the buyers money by misleading or falsifying info

the reason I havnt gone past the wrist is because even with out the other problems its more then enough

your more then welcome to not do business with me or anyone is more then welcome to not but I personally will not let someone walk on me and dictate terms
if you send me something that is not as advertised expect to get it back and refund me simple as that.

I like most of us have spent thousands on this hobby and will continue the same way I always have sending out what I expect to receive and doing my best to take care of problems (yes we all have problems)

Never mentioned anything that would make someone think that.

The only person who should consider that tactic is the buyer, not you!

I think its clear adam has no intentions of doing the right thing

I was hoping that Adam would do the right thing, but I'm starting to agree with you that It's not looking like he will

I agree and respect someone with integrity!

I was hoping that Adam would see a unbiased parties opinion and work things out, and to do the right thing. It seems like that won't happen. It always amazes me how someone who can work so hard to build a respectable business, will through it away on something they can easily fix... Sad!

Sorry Mike J, I was hoping to help resolve this for you and it seems it fell on def ears.
