• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hypo, xantic, SHTCT, het for this or that...

And Guinevere.

ARGH!! Try refreshing. A friend said she had the same problem on my website. She said she refreshed it and it came right up.

CRAP.. does not work. I even restarted the puter and can't even see mine. I downoladed that XP SP upgrade. Wonder if that is causing it...

Chris, I agree with the points you brought up about obesity. There are some FAT geckos out there. I personally don't like feeding mealworm-only diets to my adults because not only are mealworms twice as fattening as crickets, but they require no physical effort to catch. What it does encourage them to do is spend all their time sleeping, come out to check their bowl, then go back to sleep. I'm using crickets and roaches as a staple for my adults, but I don't even give them the luxury of hand-feeding them. I think that takes away the opportunity for them to exercise their greatest talent, which is to hunt. I've also cut down my adult leo's feeding days to every 2-3 days and notice a better feeding response. Overall less pickiness about food items and more activity as they spend more time walking around looking for food.

Shelly, the woman I bought them from called them Grade B because of all the yellow. But she also said there is a chance their babies could be Grade A with no yellow. I guess, there is Grade A and B with snows. I dunno. LOL

Yup.. Freckles was sold to me as a C grade leo, because she is a finicky feeder. But I was told that if it wasn't for that she could be classified as a B+ leo because her yellow hues are so faint.

You should see their daddy. He is gorgeous! He is all white with the black spots. He is an awesome Grade A. So, they do have th potential. LOL

Snows do have a grade system for color. An “A” grade is white while a “C” or “D” grade has more yellow. I would classify Freckles as a B.

Stephen,
I would classify yours as B- to C-. They look young so they will change a little as they grow. They could gain more yellow or lose some. BTW if you bred two C’s together they could produce a few A offspring.

Cody, that sounds good with me! I really like Freckles' big, big spots.

Let's see what little Gem turns out to be. Her colors reminded me of an alexandrite stone, being purple. But Alexandrite sounded like such a long name...
