well, since i guess im the one who started the whole "false vet paper" deal, let me say this: there is something wrong with that animal, no doubt about that.
now as far as the "paper" goes, i am in emergency medicine, and we are held in a different standard as far as legal medical records go. every bit of anything to do with a case/patient goes in a medical record, that automatically is attached to a full medical record (history, physical findings, diagnostic performed/interpretations, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and recommended). perhaps general practice medicine is a able to be more lacks in the area of record keeping and chart documentation. if that is the case, my apologies.
just seems to me, that if you go to the trouble to take that animal to a vet and have them write something on a piece of their paper, why not just have them copy the actual report, with all the above legally required info, and scan it here ??
again, even if you had not gone to the vet, there is something wrong with that animal, just seems that since you did go, youd wanna go full force with all proper documentation.
