Sorry but I hate to but in. I was told by Allen himself that he sells large rats to the school. Why does the Doctor or Professor not give a name and contact. If he is on the up and up why not Show who it is. Maybe he got some one to do him a favor. Maybe something is really fishy. No mention of Which test were run.Then the person who run these test doesn't own up. The other paper work gives the Vet's office name and everything. He is pulling one of my stunts. Not revealing the source of the post material . LOL Maybe a rat professor fixed him up some test results. That's my opinion not saying it is law or anything. Stationary is stationary. Any profeesor can have that. Where are the test print outs. You know the things only the doctors understand. I could fix up papers like that if I had the stationary.

Back when the kid said he bought a snake from me that had IBD I had under 10 boas in my collection. I had bloodwork done on all of them specifically looking for IBD. Not for your benefit but mine. My peace of mind! All tests were NEGATIVE!
The testing that is currently being performed are random snakes and dates. Usually the tests are performed on snakes that have poop samples available. See I said this would not help. It's never enough. Some of you have your mind made up as to who I am and how my facilities are and whether I care for the snakes at all or not. And just to let you know I am fine with that. That's your right, Love me , hate me or somewhere in between. It's all good!
If you think I have IBD, don't buy from me.
If you think I have dirty cages, don't buy from me.
If you think I have mistreated snakes, don't buy from me.
If you just don't like me, don't buy from me.
But stop slinging mudd just to sling it. See here is why I stopped responding to these threads in the first place. You ask for answers and then no matter what the answer is you reply how you would have done it differently. Let's face it probably none of us do our collections absolutely the same. Whether a large one or small one we all do things different. I would like to see everyone who is posting whether positive or negative responses here, go through answering all the questions and crap over their collection and how it's housed. I am willing to bet that only a handful of people here have prevenative testing done on their snakes. I took advasive action when the IBD alligation was issued and if I thought there was a present danger with my collection I would be reacting differently. The only 100% thing in live is that you will die someday, but I am 99.9% sure my collection is free and clear of any disease.
Come on people! look at the volume we do here, If there was IBD present in our animals don't you think someone else would bring it here as well? Since someone else has brought up the report on the IBD case the snake was said to be 6 months old. I personally called the vet that did the report when the accusations came foward and he said the snake was definately 6 months old. The snakes I sold at the show where the snake in question was supposedly purchased were hatchlings still in their first shed and the kid said the snake died just a few weeks after he received the snake. So at most the snake was 4-6 weeks old. But I know I am beating a dead horse here trying to go through this again. So we have spent a year on this IBD issue and only ONE 1 person said IBD came from me. Come on we sent out 36 reptiles today, and today was slow.

As for Wes I did think your rats were very small! Also you contacted me about buying from you because you said that Jason who was buying from you kept telling you that your rats were killing his snakes and asking for credit with you. Now I find that quiet funny when you are on here defending him over some paperwork and a computer messing up. Now I don't know and don't care about the paperwork issue with Jason! He has never done wrong to me so I have nothing to say about him either way. But Wes funny how your tune changed! I still have the email where you contacted me if you need a refresher course.

Actually that one person provided verifiable documentation. This wasn't just some guy saying he thinks the animal came from you and died as a result of IBD, he pretty much proved it.

Come on we sent out 36 reptiles today, and today was slow.

What folks are questioning are the TYPES of bloodwork done. The results you've posted mean nothing. Its just a list with mention of generic testing. Theres not even anything pointing out that testing for Inclusion Bodies were performed. According to you we're to take this as gospal? Oh please.

If you had testing done then why wasn't the results posted? You can say you did it for your peace of mind but consider that this thread is here for potential customers to peruse forever. Wouldn't posting the PROPER test results shut down any dispute and inform the public researching you that you stock was clean? I'm far from the smartest businessman but your arguement on that point is stupid. Any smart businessman would've posted results as soon as he got them and shut down any arguements. Didn't you say before you had " part " tested but now its " everything " ? Correct me if I'm wrong.

And how do we know that any infected stock wasn't added to the convient wholesale building fire? Still not pointing fingers but lets get real here. You got nailed with IBD , signs were present of an attempt to dump stock and your building just happens to catch fire. Uhhh , 2 + 2 + 2 = 6 , I see where my math is going and the numbers add up. Pretty sure others math adds up the same.

Tacky dude , pretty tacky. Your taking a serious virus that wipes out collections and trying to use it to advertise your stock. Too tacky. A year later and folks still don't trust you. You've been shown to lie or cover things up yet we're to take YOUR word that all is good and any infected animals never existed? Look back at YOUR own claim on YOUR IBD research dude. YOU even stated boas could go years before showing signs or symptoms. We're only at year one with that stock YOU sold.

Ok , if his rats were supposedly killing someone's elses snake , why were you looking at buying them? Were you planning on reselling these " furry killers " knowing that they were supposely killing snakes they were fed too?

That's the best anyone can expect. The IBD isn't your fault. But denying it when you know it .That calls for atleast an apology. I hate things got screwed up between us. Its wrong that the breeders dont care enough for the animals that they breed to do the right thing. Seems to be that the profits are more important than anything else.

Oh I forgot to answer one question. I did not house any wholesale animals in any other place due to loosing all of the stock in the fire. Once the new facility was ready we added brand new wholesale inventory to that building and only that building. We bought new inventory and even had a few close friends in the business give me some animals to start over.

I just did the Orlando show two weeks ago. Missed the Birmingham show due to the birth of my daughter and will be doing the Atlanta show as well as Raleigh. So why do the Northern shows? We have great shows up north.

Jason Brennan was telling me his snakes were dying from eating my rats. I didn't believe him. Because in one breath he talked about his snakes dying and the next he wanted to buy more rats. I couldn't understand why he wanted to buy more rats if they were killing his snakes. So I contacted Allen to try and sell them. That went bad. I went back to selling rats to Jason. Everything has been fine since. I still think it was a ploy to get some free rats. It didn't work though. I never changed anything I was doing with my rats. It just miraculously stopped. I just over looked it and went on.
