You really are an idiot if you think that no one is supposed to have a difference of opinion. You are more so an idiot if you feel that my having a difference of opinion on how it could have been handled was "slamming."

You are a grade A idiot if you feel that breeders have "rights" to customers and no one else is supposed to touch them or help them..The child sought ME out and I tried to help and YES, I have a difference of opinon..sorry if that got under your claw.

Secret pics? I shared them with a mod on BP.net. Those aren't MY pics to share. The OP can post them or not as he pleases, but I did share them with one of the mods to prove that I was not lying and that the young man did have a dead snake.

I gotta say, I side with Joe on this one. Adam's offer to replace the animal at the next show was perfectly adequate. I'm not assuming that the buyer or the seller did anything wrong. Stuff like this happens. It's unfortunate that the buyer would have to wait a few weeks to get it, but it IS much safer AND cheaper than shipping during this time of year. In fact, I wonder why he felt compelled to even post a warning ad about him. It does seem like Deb overstepped her bounds in this situation, and made a buyer feel "wronged" when in fact he wasn't.

So it seems as though the buyer did do something wrong to bring about the death of the snake. But now the huff is about Adam not wanting to ship the snake immediately? That's a little ridiculous. He offered to replace the snake even though the death had nothing to do with him. He opted for the safest and most feasible route to get the new snake to the buyer.

How is that not good customer service?

Because the buyer doesn't have the patience to wait a few weeks?

Maybe if the buyer had a little more patience the original snake would not have died.

AND..I still happen to disagree that that was the ONLY way to handle the matter after the child aready spent his money..and offered to pay shipping for another animal...but that's me. I think that it's admirable that you gave a kid down in the dumps a new bp. What happened to his animal was unfortunate, and to be honest, I'd probably do the same if I had extra normal males lying around. BUT you jumped to conclusions assuming that the breeder had tried to scam him. By the buyer's OWN ACCOUNTS the bp looked like it was in perfect condition when he bought it. When the breeder was informed that the snake had died, he offered to make it right. Just because you believe he should have gone against his better judgment and shipped the snake in the dead of winter, does not mean that he tried to scam anyone, or do anything other than provide perfectly acceptable customer service.

Deb i think i should fill in a few blanks here with the TRUTH.The kid told Adam the snake died on the way home.The kid never offered to pay any shipping costs.Now i was going to forward the emails from Adam to show you but as usual you go overboard.I have a serious question for you.How was it this kid found and contacted you? You encouraged him to post. You posted a thread on here with the belief that the boy had been scammed. You continue to harp on the fact that Adam had not provided good customer service. In fact, other than the OP, it appears as though you are the ONLY other person in the bp.net thread alleging that the breeder had done anything wrong. I'm not trying to jump to conclusions here, but it's hard to deny what is there.
