Before the snakes went into their enclosures I checked them all closely for ticks, and most were covered with at least 10-40 ticks. After removing most of the large ones with tweezers, with the help of 2 other people, we wiped them down with frontline tick spray, while holding them and avoiding the face. After 5 minutes with the frontline one them we washed and rinsed them off with soapy water. We haven't found a tick on them since, except one that popped a few ticks when it laid eggs, which we retreated. Once the females lay their eggs we're also using prevent-a-mite spray in their enclosure.

Did all these pythons come from Millenium Morphs, do you know if they are importing in association with Mike Brooks? I've seen pictures of the same snakes posted by both in KS.

Yes the adult gravids all came from MM. I believe he is associated with Mike Brooks, but I don't know for SURE. I saw ads on kingsnake for imports by both parties, and I think Mike Brooks has a new site link that goes to a MM imports site. I haven't asked Adam, the owner, so I don't know for sure.

You, your appearence, your writing style, your claiming not to know things like using someone's pictures without permission is not cool, not knowing quarentine procedures, a lot of little things honestly point a lot of us to the conclusion that you ARE chris johnson.

He would enjoy what is happening right now, use the same excuses you are, make the same pleas for time and patience, ask for help, basically, you could be brothers.

There is, however, the slight chance that you are legit.

But, you're a convicted criminal.

You've made amends and are now a family man, no doubt a god fearing and humble one as well.

But you're a convicted criminal engaged in a lawful business with undertones of use which, while I find no fault with personally, many do. You must be aware of this, must have taken it into consideration, and must have discounted any negativity associated with it to obtain the profit from it. I may well have done the same in your shoes.

But, again, you are SO similar in SO many ways to chris johnson, that if you can't PROVE way beyond the shadow of ANY doubt at all that you are not him, not associated with him, are in fact a good guy getting off to a bad start, you will be followed by a black cloud every time you go out in public.

adam at MM hasn't been on the front page of the BOI in at least several months, but as you saw, he is NOT forgotten. There are maybe a dozen very active participants in this thread but rest assured that each of them is talking to at least a half dozen of their friends about you and that those friends will talk to their friends and so on and so on.....

IF you really want to prove you're not chris johnson and not a scammer in the making, FIND him and turn him in. None of the people he scammed can afford to hire a good private detective and track him down. Apparently, if what you say about yourself is true, lol, then YOU can. It would probably be a tax write off for you too.

Do THAT and you'll sell out everything you ever produce and have a waiting list too.

Short of that, carry a good umbrella for the rest of your reptile dealing life.

I really don't think I look anything like the guy, if you would like to see a recent photo of me. he looks a bit frumpy and pasty...

I understand your concerns, and everyone else's. Yes I did commit a felony for making fake ID's when I was younger, and I fully understand your concerns there. However I haven't been coy about it...I am ashamed...but I have to accept it if I want to ever move past it.

I can 100% prove that I am not him by many means, but I can't prove that I'm not associated with him..I think that would be impossible to truly prove. I have never met him or seen his face before prior to coming up this post, but that's tough to prove and I understand that. If anyone wants to come to my shop I have over 18 employees (hydro shop) and you can ask questions or whatever you would like, but I have no idea who he is.

that being said I don't know who the guy is nor do I have any intent to track him down. beyond being a waste of my time, not b/c I don't feel for those that got taken by him, or his current effect on your trust of me; i have no idea where he is, who he really is, or where to start. even if I did..i have kids and I don't want to get involved with anything of the sort. i have too much going on as it is and do not deal with future problems. on a side note I deal with cc fraud almost weekly with my business and it is a nightmare to say the least, so i understand where your coming from.

I will get my umbrella out...it looks like..um rain...for quite some time.

however I'm not going anywhere and I'll do what it takes to clear the clouds.

Yes I understand.

I'm not sure who is giving you avise in that you will make money by breeding normal ball pythons. Unless the imports of CH babies are discontinued, that's a big money-loosing scheme. Raising a normal female to 1,000 g may take you 1.5 to 2 years, she will eat roughly 900 g worth of rodents and at least an average of 1 minute/day of work (30 minutes/month). Use the figure of $7 for a minimum hourly wage (hours/d * 365); then calculate the number of mice/small rats needed based on their weight*their cost. Then factor in electricity, shipping costs for your sales, etc. And you will see why we are looking at you in disbelief.

Unless you sell each baby between $200 and $1,000 you are not going to make money, the only person that made a $8,000 kill is the one who sold you 200 gravid females. But hey, knock yourself out, it's your money after all.

Eh. Check the last photo he posted. I don't think feeding them is a major concern for him. That is to say- looking at the condition of that albino, why would he waste the money on rodents for the normals?

Well, I'm assuming he's planning on raising the CBB females to 1,000 g, and then sell them for maybe $100. One other thing he has to factor in is that 50% will be normal CH males that he will have to sell right away for $10 (?) if he doesn't want to add more losses.

IF you are trying to be a legitimate ball python business, I'll give you a bit of advice.
Stop with the bluffing. The puffed website that you already took down to strip and re-do is a first step.
The whole idea that you are doing genetic engineering, accompanied by the ridiculous picture of you in a non-sterile environment with a hypodermic needle poised with a non-sterile python egg is insulting.
I'd suggest you put a honest humble site up with pictures of the actual snakes you have for sale, with full disclosure about where they were bought from, and what they are.
As far as the hydro stuff, you know exactly what you're selling it for, especially with disguised units. Declaring that your "other business" has nothing to do with any of the rest of your business won't fly. Declaring that your earlier indiscretions have nothing to do with now won't fly. Saying that "gee, sorry about those pictures! Me and the Beav sure are sorry!" when you ripped off pictures of other people's animals don't fly well either.

IF(big if to most folks here) IF you are striving to be legitimate in this business/hobby, you have a long long row to hoe to get back to neutral ground. You started out really badly, you don't have people even convinced you are not TSE related in some way, and you have 'shady' business practices already in your other business.
Good luck. You're gonna need a lot of it.
