    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Considering buying from Danielle Fields Geckos, does anyone have information/opinions available?

Okay, but in fairness to Danielle, those threads mostly address Mike specifically.

Are Danielle and Mike still associated?
 
Well I can answer my own question- I received a call in response to my inquiry to a Danielle Fields Geckos ad on kingsnake from someone that identified himself as Mike.

So it's a safe assumption that Danielle Fields Geckos is directly associated with Rainforest Reptiles.
 
Update:

I received an email from "danielle" claiming she had called me and that she also had emailed me pictures. I emailed "danielle" back and asked if the mike that has been calling representing her business is mike from rainforest reptiles. She claims not.

Also she stated "I understand if you can't afford these animals" when I inquired about the price being rather high (she's asking $340 for young pink tongue skinks).

I replied that I wasn't comfortable making a purchase because I didn't like her tone and didn't believe her sincerity regarding Mike.

well.. that's odd. if you look below you can see that the address on a reverse phone lookup for a phone number used by Rainforest Reptiles matches the address of Danielle's DBA. And it looks like michael's name is also a legal part of Danielle's business in addition to his defunct Rainforest Reptiles business name :D

ok... then there is that brenda name.

in an old BOI thread, someone posted a copy of an ad that mike had placed which contained a phone #. Someone else did a reverse phone lookup of that phone number and guess what.. Brenda Goodmote's name came up for it just as her name has come up on the other phone number listed above earlier.

Mike contacted me with a third number and left another number I could call back that may have been one of the two now listed (I didn't write it down).
 
I had trouble with Mike several months ago. I received a call about shipment from a "Danielle" saying they were shipped. If not a wife then a sibling. The Brenda name is what they use with their Paypal account. Same people new name.

So can anyone tell me if they did indeed receive what they bought from Danielles geckos??

I have a pending order and need to know if I should cancel it or not... Some one please let me know ASAP! Tahnks
 
My experience was a disaster and it took disputing my order with my credit card to get my money back. Paypal would do nothing as it was not Ebay related. Mike had agreeded to refund some money before I disputed it but never followed completely though. My issues were dead, sick and dying frogs and incorrect sex ratio.

I know of another that waited 3 to 4 weeks with no shipment, continued excuses then demanded a refund which was given.

Let me start by saying Mike couldn't get anything right for me. I ordered some "wholesale" stuff. Half didnt come in, some were dead it was a very small order. He brokers half the stuff he has. Packaged horrible, an EMPTY BOX with no newspaper, styrofoam, etc in it so everything was just rolling around, 1 freezing heat pack. Bad experience.

If all this was the case, than I do not doubt it isn't Mike himself using that name. Would not surprise me and have a feeling that is so.

Perhaps you should call Danielle Field's Geckos to cancel the order, before calling your credit card company...just a thought.
 
I did many a couple of times and she gives me the run around just like most of the posts for Rainforest Reptiles say.

What is the response when you tell them to cancel the order, and how long have you been waiting?
 
I see that this was back in Sept 2007. My friend bought a bp from Danielle, when she called to pay, she talked to Mike. I got my bp- cold...there was a heat pack in there warm. I live in Georgia, and they shipped from Florida.

I emailed her, to ask a few questions, whether George my bp was a male or female and If I needed to feed it. I have emailed her 2 times.. NO RESPONSE BACK!

Well as of Thurs. my bp is sick... i took George to my vet. George has pneumonia, and I found 2 mites on him. I have to give him shots for the next 2 weeks.

I have several reptiles, and I have never had any of them sick or with any mites or problems. So this is all new to me.

I got my bp on Friday Dec 14th, he ate a week later. I tried to feed him a few days ago, he would not eat. Thought maybe cause he is about to shed, but when I went to another board and asked questions to why he was opening his mouth. I was told he may have URI.

Anyways, has anyone had any BAD or problems with their reptiles from them... or their orders since Sept??
