Conversations progressed to handling this past weeks situation on Chasity and also our frustration and suspicion with Denise not responding. We supplied you with the facts as we understood them and encouraged you to confirm them with Fl. You went after Denise’s results - I wanted the labs name. You insisted that this was a scam, and we thought so too. BUT - how many times were you told by us not to do anything? To leave it alone? To give it time?
Then Mike posted the information on Chasity/Cathy on the BOI after her forged documents were confirmed on Monday and low and behold - you posted on Denise within hours. This was most definitely not our choice. We saw the inconsistencies in Denise’s posts, we still see them - still, they are not a basis for a BOI thread. Bobby, we discouraged you from bringing any accusations to the BOI before there were any facts available. Didn’t Rob say to you “You may eat your words” if you post anything without proof?

We did not encourage your behavior... if fact, we discouraged it. We were emotional about it, yes - and you fed off of that, and ran with it... straight to the BOI. YOU put your reputation out on the line when you hit submit - with out facts to back it up.

You forget that you were initially wanting information to support Kevin... then you got involved with us... (maybe we and Kevin think alike on adeno)

You hit submit without the facts, jumped ship when the facts didnt support what you posted on the BOI and now decide to come at us... cute.

Vickie, Do you still plan to send you sick dragons to Canada to JimD AKA J&J Reptiles?

Sorry, but we dont ship sick animals. We would have a problem offering a 6 week guarantee if we did.
BTW - Didnt you know that there are benign strains? CheriS said so.

RE #362 - It seems to us that it matters more WHO offers the information - rather than the content of the information. If any breeder were to have written about the possibility of a benign strain - they would have been jumped on or had a hidden agenda.

sorry Shrap I should have made myself clearer, I meant the thread where they both allude to me telling people to kill their animals which is a lie. BTW... I would help if you were on fire, it might not be as effective as the guys, but I would give it my best try

It was this I was asking that a retraction be posted on it and that lie or doubt be removed from others reading it.. it would be nice if they named the person spreading this, but I think most us know anyway without them being named

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your dragons due to someone giving you the wrong information, I might add without them having any facts.

For those that do not know this, someone told her she needed to euthanize/kill her infected dragons, she took that person's advice. IMO, it is very sad when people like the one that told you to do that makes things up, it also does nothing but hurt us and our hobby.

They both have admitted at the time the were talking about me, many people have been told this and the person along with others that I have worked with that had positive colonies have all denied any such thing was ever advised. I think it goes back to the person that tried to manipulate others to do their "DIRTY WORK"

I would be happy if someone has negative animals - if you can do it, that's great. That means it can be done and we can all learn something from them.

The emotional end of it comes from Chasity's stunt in combination with the silence from Denise and the information we have here - which no one bothered to hold out their hand for.

This thread is really sad, and admitidly, really confusing to me. It reminds me of the crypto outbreaks that went through most of the larger leopard gecko breeders colonies back in the mid-late 1990's. Many lost their entire collections, some rebuilt, many were too emotionally and financially devestated to rebuild, and left the hobby. The interesting thing about cryptro though, is that is is believed to be carried by the majority of the leos in the US now, but is benign and does not cause problems unless there is some other issue going on (high stress level, improper husbandy, parasite load etc).

I know that emotions are running high here, but it seems to me that some are being made the scapegoats for others mistakes for jumping the gun before doing the proper research. This is how people's reputations are ruined, and all I would hope is that everyone would take a step back and think before posting. Thanks for reading.

Then again we were both emotional wrecks at that time I could be remembering that wrong too. You sent me that email telling me to put red boy and jaw baby in the freezer. Remember? Then we talked for several days almost non stop. At that point in time we trying to come up with options on how to not have to put them down I then offered to call Vicky so we could get information from her. We called her on that Tuesday and even they told you not to put your dragons down. That is what I told Bobby and I'm sorry I did. that should have never been repeated. Then I got caught up in that other girl lying about her results. Which made me think that you and Denise were lying even more about hers. I was b ing that Denise was going to get you in trouble. When all the while it was my blind loyalty to someone that f ed things up for me. It wasn't you messing up by standing by a friend, it was me.

I'm a fool Tere, I honestly believe that I was played and I fell for it hook, line and sinker. Bobby was not the only one being played and manipulated. I should have just picked up the phone and called you about all my thoughts like we always said we would do if we ever found ourselves in this kind of situation again. I failed in that respect and I'm even more sorry that I failed you as you have pointed out on the BOI again. I honestly don't know how are what to feel at this point. How many times, if you have, have you sent shipments to jimd that had blood relatives that were AV positive? How about your other sales both to distributors as well as private parties? Were the buyers of infected animals, if any sales of such were made, EVER notified of the possible status of the lizards they purchased from you?
