In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

vicki, have you sold dragons that you knew had siblings or parents that were AV positive in the last year? In the last 2 years? In the last 3 years? In the last 4 years? How many times, if you have, have you sent shipments to jimd that had blood relatives that were AV positive? How about your other sales both to distributors as well as private parties? Were the buyers of infected animals, if any sales of such were made, EVER notified of the possible status of the lizards they purchased from you?

The above questions did you ignore them Vicki ?

The person that asked them and others would like an answer please

Then please answer them then mine.... Vicki they are relevant questions

What a truly evil woman you are and by the way Karma does exist

How many dragons do you sell a year both in the USA and with exporting ?

How many in the last 12 years .. dragons have you sold ?

Just an honest answer ... No I do not have the answers to these questions

Vicki But you sure should know them

yup,i would still like an answer to my question too. will you be changing your mis-leading disclaimer on your site?

Cheri,
You have put people in a position to need to make a choice between having diseased animals or putting them down, giving them away or selling them off cheap to wholesalers.

Is this not exactly what you have done, as well?

That is a good question!!

To claim not to have tested leaves a question. But to test and then to claim you havent is what some would call a lie.

puppytoes : No I will not be changing the web site. This is more than many other breeders have done...
We have set up a seperate facility to house a small group of confirmed positive animals to do repeated testing on to see if and when they may stop shedding this virus. If they stop visibly shedding consistently through EM, we will then move on to PCR monitoring. This is what the test result was from.

hi ya puppytoes I asked her this way back when and she said it was not pr oven necessary to test at that time not enough information yet I think that was in December or maybe Jan this year.. I can find that I am sure of it...

way back when was when Tere found out alot of her dragons where Adenovirus positive there is a whole other thread that Tere wrote to help inform the community about this Adenovirus out break...

Yes I agree puppytoes some where very hard on you also

Wes,
I have bought from Dachui. I have never been contacted about any of this going on.
I have two females bought from them 3 years ago and another male 6+ years ago.
As you know I have had two clutches. Both those clutches were fathered by the male I bought from Dachui. The females have never been bred and all dragons are kept in seperate housing.
I am going to have my dragons tested, the first two tested will be my male (that has been in contact one other) and one of the females, both from Dachui. With the time frames it will be interesting to see what the results are. I have not bought a dragon in over two years.
I did PM to Dachui last night asking them these very same questions and they have replied, I will let them know of the results as well. Since I have only so many dragons and they are older perhaps it can give some time frame and if records are kept with Dachui it can help them to know which colonies mine came from. I will also let other breeders that I have bought from know as I go down the line with testing.
I have no worries about the two clutches I have had as they were sold/given locally and to people who just wanted one as a pet. And all of my beardies are outwardly healthy still.

Now I'm even more confused.

I thought you did NO testing on your animals, merely ASSumed that you had AV in your colony.

NOW you have a group who have confirmed positive tests that you continually retest?

Isn't saying that you do no testing in one post and then saying you do repeated testing in another sort of like not telling the truth? If you're not telling the truth here, well, you get the picture.

Still waiting on answers to my previous confuddlements. Please unfuddle me.

thanks

but YOU ARE MISLEADING PPL BY YOUR DISCLAIMER,it is a lie.you HAVE tested and you HAVE found adeno.you are making it seem like you have no idea if you have it in your disclaimer :NoNo: karen, yes ppl were very hard on me in my sandfire thread, actually the same ppl that are(rightfully so)calling out vicky right now.i understand that ppl make mistakes but an apology would be much appreciated.i was just trying to inform the public

Wes, out of the EM testing that was performed in Ill. from August 2006 to date - which is when all of this started (with Wendy) we can account for 5% of the slides tested.

Lou Ann states : Out of 225 Negative stain samples observed, 72 % were positive with only 28% negative.

According to Lou Ann, she did no testing for adenovirus in dragons in 2005.
We are still awaiting the percentages from Florida.

Walker - That is none of your business. I will not answer.

exactly,very misleading
vicki, did you find these postives and THEN seperate them from the rest?again very confusing answers.

It would be a dishonorable thing to not mention, and I see I did not mention in my last post that Vicki did PM me today and she did say to test, to which I replied I am going to.

Have you been buying babies you knew were infected?

Have you knew you had this virus in 2002?
