For anyone else who has heard this one, NO...I NEVER asked anyone to to come put all my dragons down. The night I found out Hercules was positive, John was gone. At that point, I had three results, and Hercules was the only positive.

Now, you can figure out the rest of the lies that I'm referring to.

You know, after all the issues you and I have had, I'm really disappointed to find out that you're still going around behind the scenes talking crap about me, particularly after I forgave you for the first round. It's not going to happen this time, Mike.

I'm very glad that you talked to Tere and Denise, and now understand why I said the things I said to you. They are good people, and would never do ANYTHING to hurt the dragons they love.

And Vickie, thank you as well. It seems I may have been somewhat mislead as to where some of the misinformation was coming from, and for that I apologize.

Though it means less now, I will be posting what my vet finds out from California Avian tomorrow, as that is where I have planned to have my testing done.

For the person that asked "where I went" when I stopped posting on the threads. I didn't "go" anywhere. I came to the decision rather quickly that staying on this forum and continuing to argue this issue all weekend wouldn't resolve anything. I do not believe it was by accident that the thread was posted late on Friday, my hands were tied all weekend unless I was willing to post a hard copy of my results, and I've been very open about my reasons for being reluctant to do so. As plenty of people know, I have been working since yesterday to get my results verified.

Denise, I think we could of saved alot of this name calling mess from happening, if you would of just said on Friday to give me a few days to verify my results and testing info. Then I will help those like Bar None Reptiles who truly needs to find a blood PCR testing site. You have been a active poster thoughout all the AV threads and to totally stop posting I think seemed quite odd to some. Especially when all of this was going on with Border Dragons forging her results. Silence is usually not a good thing here, especially on this subject.

My vet did contact them, they only do the fecal test. NO cloacal swab, no blood draw. They have very strict procedures as to how to handle the sample and how fast and fresh it needs to be. Still the problem arises in that I CANNOT get a fecal sample. Someone on here has claimed to do a blood test. I want to know the name of the lab, as my vet has attempted to contact every lab she knows of in this country and no one will process blood tests. We decided to use LouAnn in Illinois because it was cheaper but even still it does not isolate the species specific strain of adenovirus in her testing method. I have several different species of animals, dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, me.. so I am looking for that method that people have used aside from fecal PCR to test this particular dragon. Like I said because of where he came from, there is a good chance. I want it to be 100% accurate first time tested without a doubt. He has been in quarantine and will remain that way reguardless of if he tests negative or not. It's real easy since he is a male so there is no way I would be wanting to use him this young anyway, but someday I did plan on using him. I have no other reason whatsoever to think he has this virus aside from his heritage. But I certainly won't ever use him unless I can get some answers on paper in my hand thru multiple accurate tests. All I need is the name of the lab those persons have used. I will pass that onto my vet and she will do the work from there. California Avian is out, Jacobson is out, U of IL is out. WHo else is there? Someone used some place, I just need to know where it is. I am desparate here. Gimme a state at least to look at, something. If you don't trust me with the actual lab, at least drop the state to look in. I don't want anyone's personal info or test results, I don't care about the drama, I just need a lab.

Regardless of what you may think, Jean, you really can't say how you would have handled things, as you're not the one who was put in this position. I think until you are, you have absolutely NO right to judge how Denise handled anything.

And to keep it even more real..... a few big breeders are feeling threatened by folks with Adeno free beardies. So they duped Bobby into attacking an innocent persons character so they could stay looking squeaky clean while pulling the strings from behind the scenes. And letting Bobby take the fall for them.

So if you want to point fingers make sure you are pointing them in the right direction.

And just so you and everyone else knows, I dont know Denise from the man on the moon. Never even heard of her until a couple of days ago. I just knew a person was getting railroaded and I aint the type to sit back and let it happen.

I know where you're coming from and all I can say is that if you talk to people who are aware of the balony that was happening behind the scenes on this one, you'll understand that there is absolutely nothing I could have said that would have kept this issue from blowing up, because sadly enough, the issue never really was, no matter what people want to claim now, my test results.
The TRUTH is that I did put myself out there months ago trying to help people get tested, and I have talked to people, both online and on the telephone, and I have given them any information that they asked for. In return for my cooperation and attempts to help, my VET has been harrassed, the lab that handled my tests has been harrassed, and people have called BOTH claiming to be me and trying to get their sticky little fingers on my test results.
Let me make one thing really, really clear, my name was dragged through the mud, my integrity attacked, I was called an outright liar, AND people have been calling me, calling my vet, calling my lab and doing and saying OUTRAGEOUS things about me, and I'm the one that is STILL in the wrong?? Someone explain this to me please, because I don't get it.

So all the tests were done here and came back negative. Do we know for a fact that this test is accurate? If so, when can anyone shed some light on it so the rest of us can understand.

Sorry, I hate to point this out bluntly, but haven't you been one of the people shouting loudest for my head the last few days?
Now that it appears I've been honest all along, are we really going to go back to questioning the reliability of the testing?
To answer your question to the best of my limited ability, the testing I used seems to be at least as accurate as any being used. The one complaint I've heard about it from people who do actually know about such things is that if anything, it might actually be TO sensitive and catch types of AV that do not harm Bearded Dragons.

Many people were operating on what came back from the U of F was the truth. I leanred the real truth this miring and really regretted not believing you Tere. I tried and tried but failed, I eventually got to where i didn't question you but it was too late. I made a mistake and operated on mis information. I don't really know what to say.... It wasn't that I was lying I acted witout having all the facts.

Mike, I spoke to you on the phone a few days ago, and not once did you give any hint that you questioned anything I told you. As you know, I was completely honest and straight with you, and if you had reservations about me, you should have, since we were on the phone, expressed them then instead of contributing to the witch hunt that was going on behind the scenes.

However, I think it would be better if this thread were left alone than be drug on and on by people arguing about what they would have done or what Denise should have done. Every additional post on this thread only serves to keep it at the top of the forum, where it most definitely has no place. By dragging this out the only purpose served is to further harm Denise's reputation.

Denise, all I can say is I am truly sorry people would not of taken your word that you would have helped them in a few days with testing info. I had no ideal and do not get involved with what happens behind the scenes. You do have a lot to offer in the BD community and I for one am truly sorry that this had to turn into the uglyness it did.

I will chime in on this one!! Denise is 110% honest on this one. I just got home and can not believe my eyes.

Eveyone knows how much I hate scammers. Denise is not one of them , I have stated this before. I got lured by many, not just members here but also answers from the labs. The place that done Denises testing told me they did not do this testing, however now I know they don't. They send it to another private lab, so yes they do not test PCR blood swabs, but will send them off from there. So that is the true facts, Denise is a good girl.


Please stop the attacks on Denise and Tere , they were right and I was 100% wrong, end of this case on Denise.

I will also add, Vickie, please do not try to call me again. I am not going to talk to you. This is one of the reasons I got hung on this, and you know it.

You know what really grinds my gears on this? The same people that have been giving me these so called facts have had months to find the truth. I came along and played the scape goat and within three days they had the truth. Would you be a little upset, I sure am.
