I am just curious if anyone knows of Amy Caudill in Michigan. Her email addy is [email protected]. She is offering me some pythons I was looking for and just wanted to see if anyone knows who she is or has dealt with her before.

Here's the details on the offer Amy Caudill gave me. She had two supposed female IJs that she bred that were also proven breeders. She wanted $350 for one and $460 for the other plus shipping and without providing pics. I explained that I would not be interested in such high priced animals unless I was able to see them first. So she finally sends me a pic of both females, complaining of how difficult it was to get the pics for me. They looked small to me in the pic and were not of the color or pattern that I felt warranted paying such high asking prices.

Then I find this ad on K-snake:

This is the exact same pic as the one she sent me! And they're for only $100 each! And they're only feeding on small to medium mice! That's quite far from being of the size that is even close to breedable let alon already proven breeders!
And even if she bought them from this Keith person, she's attempting quite the markup! That's not neccesarily wrong as it is certainly a free and captilaisitc country but this entire dialogue I have had via email with Amy Caudill has been exceedingly fishy. She darted around specific questions I had asked more than once, never giving me answers.
I haven't neccesarily been ripped off by her but I fiugred this would be a bit of a heads up for anyone who may purchase from her in the future. Be careful! My conversations with her repeatedly did not add up!

I would certainly be interested in her. But for the price you are asking,
pics definitely would be required here. Is there anything unusual about her
as far as pattern or color?
What year was she born? Can you give an approximate size?
If you have pics somewhere on the net already but not on your computer, you
could just send me the link to where they are uploaded. But if you have no
way of getting pics of her to me at all, then I will have to pass.
Just let me know.

Well I will have to probably pass. This is based on the fact that you still have not given me any idea

of their size (not even a guess), even something in the pic for comparison. They look quite small and

thin to me. Also, you never answered my questions as to how old they are or where you or your aunt got

them from. And to be honest, I see nothing unusual about the two in the picure that would warrant paying

the prices you are asking. Most adult IJs go for $150-225 each especially if they are normal in

appearance like yours. I so far have been offered 2 large adult female normals more moderately priced for

$150 and $200 each. I must say this entire email dialogue has been a strange one. I guess you should

probably find someone else.

Although I was called a few names, that botghered me very little.
This actualy was even just a tad bit amusing to actually be called racist and self centered. And to see her delude herself into thinking those two pictures are not the same was just mind boggling. It wasn't that I had patience for her and her comments but moreso that I wanted to point out that she was not going to pull a fast one on me by stealing someone else's pic. I felt it had to be pointed out to her that she was caught making a big no-no.

If she did pass away, that's too bad....I'd never wish that on anyone, of course.
But I have my reservations to the truth of this as well. I have been searching all of the local MI press sites and there's quite a few mentions of a few car crashes that occured last night but none were fatalities. Nothing in the death notices or obits. But obits can take a few days to be listed and at times that won't be listed at all due to the family simply not putting one out.
But to think her luck is so bad that her best friend dies a few days ago and then she passes away too?
Perhaps I am self-centered and may even a tad bit of an jerk for being a disbeliever of this email you recieved.

Good Evening. My name is Jasmin. I am Amy's only daughter. I seen your e-mail address in Amy's Address Book online. I don't know if you were friends with her or not, but I am sending an e-mail to everyone that was in there to let them know what happened. Last night around 9:30 P.M., Amy was killed by a drunk driver. He T-Boned her right in the driver's side door crushing her. She died instantly.
I hope that you see what happens when you drink and drive. Now because of someone deciding to drink and drive, I lost my mother. I'm only 16 and I no longer have a mother or a father to be there for me. I hope this is also make you become closer to your loved ones. If you were friends with my mother, thank you for being her friend. Also, if you still have your mom, make sure your with her on mothers day. I sure know I will be. I know she will still have you in her heart up there in heaven and watching over all of us.

I am the one paying for the whole funeral and everything and he's saying that I don't have the right to burry her back home. But I'm going against his wishes and doing it anyway. I'm using all of my college money that I have saved up because this is my mother and I want to do what she wanted me to do. And next year I'm graduating and won't get to go to college, but I guess it doesn't matter anymore. I prolly won't go to collefe now. It took me almost 4 years to save up the money. I had all that I needed for my first year of college. And all of it's gone. My stepfather didn't even want to help pay for the funeral because I wouldn't let him do it the way he wanted. Just like all of these reptiles she's got. I don't know what to do with them. My step dad hates them. My great aunt has no more room for them. And no one else knows how to care for them. So now I don't know what to do with any of them. I can't sell them because I don't know the prices for any of them and if I did, I don't think anyone would want to buy them from me because I'm only 16. Well, I'll be on Friday. That right there would really help get back some of my college money. I want to move back down to mExico, but I don't know where anyone lives anymore down there. Everyone is always moving. I have not responded back yet as I definitely think this is a bunch of crap.
Why is she trying to keep her money to start college next year if she is only turning 16 next week?
And her dad's name, Matt Peele? That's the name of a boy that goes to school at a high school about 4000 feet from the address she gave as her home address.
This is beginning to sound more like a teenager trying to scam some cash from out of state.
And I did a random search of over 10 states white pages (including in Michigan) and not a single person spells their name "Gonzelous"...the ONLY listings even close were for the common spelling of "Gonzalez".

I would have to say, this is one of the weirdest things I have seen, it sounds like it is just some teenage kid, with a totally messed up head, that is trying to scam someone. I think I would block all e-mails, unless you just want something to amuse you. It's a good thing she doesn't know a thing about reptiles, it should be a little harder for her to scam someone..

You know if you really want to get to the bottom if this you can call the Michigan Highway Patrol or State Police (what ever they call it up there) give them the information and they should be able to tell you if there were any fatalities with her name on that date, time and location.

Just an FYI that might save everyone a bit of heartache, If you get a pic from someone that you think may be someone elses there is a fairly simple way to find out, it isn't completely accurate but it's worth a shot:
Right click on image, scroll down to properties and click.
There should be a location listed, click on the name of the photo and copy.
On Yahoo there several tags across the top, one of them is photos click on it.
In the search field right click and select paste...then hit enter. If someone elses website comes up then there may be something amist.

I was quite thorough in my investigation.
I wonder if this little girls parents know what she is up to?
I think she needs help. To make up such a horribly sad story is definatley a cry for help.

She was caught in a lie and felt the need to conjure up a huge lie to try to cover up that first lie.
I kinda feel sorry for her because she say's she is 16.
She is still young and needs to get herself in check before she reaches adulthood. Sounds to me that her criminal career is off to a good start though.
Glad she wasn't able to scam anyone.
Maybe she will see this thread and realize the error of her ways.

How do we know she is 16? It was the "daughter" who stated she was 16. Amy Caudill is the "mother" supposedly that died in the car crash. This could be a grown woman pulling this scam.
I have some new info coming up that should seal this story.
