    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

... Be carefull... IF you speak any of your own opinions in this thread you'll end up with negative reputation points. I wish I could find out, by whom or why. I think it's really uncalled for. I didn't bash anyone. Someone here is very soft and obviously only supports those with similar opinions. Get a life. Just because I don't value BP morphs, I'm now considered a "bad guy" around here. You mods really need to get a grip.
 
Randy, I know that I have soiled myself because I have chosen to argue with the slime meister himself, Joe capone of MKR. and have been doing alot of whinny kid acts. I have no problems with anyone else. and I dont really care about how anyone prices whatever they are selling. its just the way he choses to try and make everyone else look bad so he can sell his" product". I can not stand what he is doing to this hobby that I love so much, no one has stood up to challenge Joe, so I decieded it was gonna be me. I am totally out of character going after somebody like this, but choose to engage him anyway. if I offended you in anyway please accept my apologies. I will continue to engage Joe C. at every opportunity, but somehow I believe that he has been muzzled. :)
 
Jon, IF you were a paid member, you could see exactly who gave you the negative points, and why. I was one of the people who gave you negative karma, and it had nothing to do with your "valuing" Ball morphs, it had everything to do with offensive statements like this:

Great, well, I'm sure that type of posting isn't going to keep me from producing or selling animals that I DO think are cool and exciting and selling them via this site.

One would think though, that spoiled reputations are for thieves and trolls. Of which, I'm neither. So it just doesn't make sense. Someone (and yourself) is mad because they didn't like my opinion and that shouldn't reflect on my knowledge, ability or salesmanship.

I was just trying to offer the fact that there are a TON of people that couldn't care less about BPs and that the prices (of which everyone in this thread has argued for pages among pages) are down because everyone that did care to get one, already got one. This thread was missing an outsider's perspective and obviously those involved don't care for one.

The MODS had nothing to do with it. ANYONE can give you Karma, negative or positive. I suggest you think before you type before your foot goes further down your throat.
 
No one asked you not to sell what you think is cool....but those of us who DO enjoy Ball Pythons reserve the right to do the same without being insulted for it. I have a true love for ALL of the reptiles I keep, and give a darn about each and every one for the beings that they are. While there may be a "ton" of people who don't enjoy Ball Pythons, there are a "ton" of us who do.

Again, it had nothing to do with your "opinion", it had everything to do with the insulting way you stated it. Calling things "homos" or "retarded" DOES reflect on you.
 
And again, these opinions were about SNAKES, not keepers or breeder. You could insult my snakes all day. If they get mad, just take it up with them.

I mean you are not only deciding for yourself what you consider cool and worthy of love, but you for some reason you think you have the right to decide that for others as well. You dont find that a bit small minded and insulting?

And you surely do have the right to free speech, but with that right comes the fact that not everyone is going to agree and will voice their dissenting opinion.

Last time I checked, Africa was exotic and cool, and no matter what, Snakes will always be cool in my book, no matter what kind!

You all are just really soft,I guess. Like I said before, you could turn all my exact words around and make them about my collection of treeboas, but I certainly wouldn't be sure to have paid up in order to give you all negative reputations, because you don't like my snakes. Boohoo, BoaMan doesn't like my snakes.

Ever heard that expression that "opinions are like buttholes...?" We all got one. Why are so many taking this personally. It should not be even a minute detail in your day, what my opinion is.

I'll just keep my posting to the forums where others and I do share similar interests. Around here you have to get inline with everyone else's.
 
Ed, and they're fantastic looking BPs. I just prefer wild type animals that don't require a second mortgage on home. Something that actually has some behaviors that I can watch without having to be up all night sitting in the dark waiting for is what I prefer.

There are some really cool looking PB morphs, I'm not debating that. I just think that as a species, I find them boring and astronomically over priced.

My goal in my posting was never to insult you all as keepers. Maybe the snakes, but whatever does it for you, DO IT! I sure am. Some of you could possibly despise ATBs and you could call them “homos” or whatever… it’s not going to get my panties in a bunch, because I don’t keep them for you or anyone but myself.

I don't think that is the point. You may not like Ball Pythons at all, but there is no reason to call them names or belittle the species.

None of us have done that to your Treeboas...

Which is why I guess people are giving you bad karma. It's just not necessary to make derogatory comments about a specific species.

You may not like them, and you are absolutly entitled to your opinion (everyone is!), but you did not need to use such harsh and demeaning language...

Which is why I'm guessing you got negative karma... Just my two cents.
 
Jon if you had just stated that you don't care to keep Balls that wouldn't ruffle many feathers but when you insult those who keep them it tends to get them clicking on that-Add to Karma- button.

Now if this comment read Emeralds or Chondros ETC I might have thought about clicking that button myself. The post you made could have been worded a whole lot better. Besides it's nothing personal they just hit you because they didn't like your post. That's what the Karma system is for to rate peoples post. Randy

All the aboreals I have kept and keep currently do most of thier running around at night. The stay pretty much coiled up like a bump on a branch during the day. Pretty much all the snakes from my boas species, through the monocled cobras do very little in the middle of the day unless you start the interaction.


Also the reason for taking out a second mortage on the house to buy some of these balls is for an INVESTMENT. Many people produce them to make money. You are not going to make much money if your breed stock can be bought at petco for $19.99. You are not paying 40k for a pet, for a ball, for an animal to watch its behaviors. You are paying 40k in hopes you will turn it into more than 40k.
