Inquiry on bearded pets?

Hello everyone just wondering if anyone has dealt with them Paul Wyble

I emailed them inquiring on a croc monitor they had for sale. When I asked for pics, they sent me a pic from DnJ Reptiles of D.Gorman which I recognized.When I called them on it, they retracted and just said" oh it looks better than that"I asked for the photo of the one they were selling and they said they didnt have any or a cam. I asked them if it was freshly imported and they responded "oh no its cb we breed a bunch of snakes and lizards" I then asked for photos of eggs, or hatchings etc. since to my knowledge, salvadorii's are rarely bred in the states. I also asked him or her for their full name and address. Never got a response back.

Coincidentially a friend of mine had inquired on it as well and "bearded pets" sent him a photo from Mampam(Bennett's site) and gave him the same run around. He also got her name which is an Elena Egedi from Georgia. Good luck.

I have not purchased the animal, so not sure of anything. But I know they are using other peoples pictures to sell there animals.

If anyone has positive feedback I'd like to know.

bearded pets

Well they were selling a pair of 100% het for pied ball pythons on KS about a week or so ago for 1000.00 that price threw up a red flag with me so I thought I would ask about them and I seen they were also selling a pair of het for albino for 650.00

I wouldn't trust these guys as far as I could throw them! About a week ago they posted CB P.masobe. Now for those of you that don't know it these geckos are almost impossible to keep live, let alone breed in captivity. I inquired about the geckos and asked for a picture. They replied saying all of the geckos were 1 year old and that they hatched them out themselves. When I opened the attachment I recognized the picture immediately. It is the same picture that can be found on Nathan Hall's web site. To buy myself some time I told them I picked up a MO and sent it out, I then proceeded to e-mailed Nathan and asked where he had gotten the picture. What a surprise the picture was NOT from Elena Egidi of bearded pets. After finding this out I figured I would see exactly how much Elena was willing to lie. So I sent them another e-mail asking how old the animal was when they took the picture was taken and if it was ok to save the picture because it was nice. She replied saying that I could save it but not to use it to sell animals! She went on to say the animal was approx a half a year old when the pic was taken (it is easy to see the animal was only a month or so old max.) After this e-mail I called their bluff and they have yet to reply back to me. I also find it very discouraging that they posted 3 more ads on KS. One was for U.fimbriatus and another was for U.lineatus. Again 2 extremely difficult geckos to breed in captivity. I find it interesting that all of these “cb” animals are being sold as adults. Who hatches out impossible to obtain cb animals and then sells them once they hit breeding age!

Something needs to be done about people like this! Not only did they waste a lot of my time but also they are going to sucker in some poor fool sooner or later.

Hey Steve, I agree with you. I have a feeling these guys are up to no good.Then again thats just my own opinion

"Bearded Pets" is also posting on KS classifieds as a Jon. The email being [email protected]. They are both coming from the same IP address and registered under "Bearded Pets".

So now its Elena, Jon and Bearded Pets. I also remember recently that email [email protected] being brought up on a recent thread here about some 100% for het albinos that were for auction on reptibid.

Does anyone know if you have to actually purchase an animal to summit a complaint to KS. If not, I think myself and two others should just put a complaint against them. At least this will keep them from posting on KS.

I replied saying I want to see new pics, for that was the only way I was going to send the MO. I also mentioned I was going to e-mail the real owner of the picture to see if he would verify that it is his. Maybe that will get her to confess that she didn’t take the picture. We will see what happens.

Well I just got another e-mail. Here it is:

"Hi , My geckos are CB , that was my pic , yes my cam will be fixed tommorrow and i would gladly send you the pic of my best pair that i would send you, the parents she is about to drop to eggs so if she drops them soon all show you the eggs and the mother , My geckos or my babys and i wouldnt false something like that because they need a good home !!"

So we will see what I get from her tomorrow, I know it is unlikely but maybe she sent the wrong picture....we will see what happens. I will let you all know how this turns out.

You are definitely taking the right steps. Sure, give them the benefit of the doubt and give them time to get their camera out of the shop (please!!). Maybe they sent the wrong picture, and maybe Elvis is still alive. I'm very curious to see if they are going to send you new pictures of their captive bred P. masobe . I inquired about some 'CBB" Draco sp. Very few people breed Dracos and I'm preety sure I knwo all of the people that have that are located in the states. I had the same issues all of you guys had with the guy. What was bad was the only pic he had was a stolen picture of a dead Draco macularis!!! when I asked him why he posted a pic of a dead Draco he said he did that for display value!!!! I kept askign for pics of the "CBB" Dracos, and he kept saying he would send them and never did. Everything he did sent up a red flag to me. Luckily I noticed before I sent him some cash.

WC female P. masobe come in gravid sometimes. Usually the eggs don't hatch anyway.

Could that be the case here? I have not known of many that have successfully reproduced P. masobe, and if they were true cbb hatchlings they would be priced high.

I would think if you really did produce masobe you would have photographed them. I know I would take tons of pictures of such an achievement! Care to post any pics?

As stated those picks were an example and not of the actual animal. The Masobes are of the actual animal. You must not have a life or a job to actually sit here and waist your time on false allegations. You also must be under 18 in order to actually blab your mouth all over the internet and just get your self in more problems. I did not take pics of the babies hatching. I really didn’t think it was a big deal. I set up there tank and they bred. I do not know why I am being harassed like this. One other statement, I have not seen any recent pics of Jesus lately. But the depiction on the cross is what I believe it would look closest to. And even though I do not see pics of him, I believe in him. You guys must not, So go tell your local church you need some photos of him before you sit in mass im sure they will just enjoy that one..........thanks
P.S. Are you afraid to put your name and address on the internet Steve Hoch. Since you think you are correct you should not be afraid. Also you should not have to obtain that many false email addresses.
