    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Chuck, your really a funny guy. I did not use those deposits to pay for those ponds, my customers pay for those ponds, seperate business, seperate account. Do you have my bank statements to prove your case?

As for me being busy, I did not have this issue when I took the deposits, I had this issue when I had an Echis coloratus bite me and it caused things to pile up.

As for ponds being number one, HECK YES! I have much more to lose on those ponds, that is my main income. I would be a fool not to put them first.

As for me spilling my guts, I've said the same things from the start, before you posted your trash. In fact, I sound like a broken record.

I put my customers for reptiles third, after my family and after my pond business.

Do you think Eric would quit his day job just to catch up on any delayed shipments? I think not, it's a stupid idea!

Now Chuck, tell me super sluth, what's next? Did I buy a new car with all the money, pay for my gold plated teeth? Rent a hot air ballon, or did I use it to pay my suppliers after the shipment came and the animals were in good health. I made a mistake, I should have waited until they were in my customers hands and everything was well on that side. Will I make this mistake again, NEVER.

Well I am going to interject here since everyone is arguing over a situation that I am involved in. Justyn has said he will have the deposits out by mid-week, tomorrow is mid-week so I'm assuming they will be going out then, even if not, if I get my deposit back before Saturday, even if he sends it overnight on Friday then I wipe my hands and walk away, you will here no more complaints from me.

Now, as for the other things, Chuck, just chill out a bit. If the deposits aren't refunded then it's open season.
Justyn, regardless of where you and I stand it's not the smartest thing to come on a reptile forum, especially one of the nature of the BOI and say flat out that your reptile customers are basicly the least of your worries. I understand family comes first and you have another job, but if you take on this responsibility, take people's money to provide animals to them, you do what you have to do in order to get things done.
I have spent MANY nights up almost all night unpacking or packing shipments to be shipped out. Have I had delays, sure, but a day or two, not weeks. It sounds like you're saying that you will put off the reptile business as long as need be if other priorities arise. My suggestion, get some additional help or cut back. From what I understand you are very new to the importing game and it can get overwhelming, slow down a bit until you get caught up. If you can't handle the venomous then leave it to those who can.
I know if I were a potential customer, and I came on here and read what you said in this thread about the reptile customers being last priority then I would find someone else to do business with.
As I said before, the very second I recieve the refund I will post that I recieved it on here.

No, I wouldn't quit my day job to catch up, however I would, without a doubt take a day or two of vacation if I was THAT far behind in order to catch up and I have indeed done just that before, and that was to get shipments out when promised so they weren't late at all.

Just thought I'd clear that up so no one is confused about what ERIC would do.

Can you please explain why you and "mrkrinkles" are posting from the same IP address? An IP address that resolves to a University in VA. Registering fake accounts here to take a shot at someone is not look kindly upon.
 
Mr krinkles is a friend of mine who was having trouble posting a picture. If you notice the first picture which is screwed up is a different ip address than the second one. I am not using his user name as a second account I was simply reposting something that he needed help with. It wont happen again.
 
I was told my refund was being mailed today.
Not to take a cheap shot, but I was also told my snakes were shipping on certain dates as well. They did not.
 
I was also told that by Justyn Tuesday night, that he would either overnight a money order to me or deposit it directly into my bank account. I think I will go with the money order so in that case I'll have to give him until at least Friday.
