Didn't I see a photo of that alleged bite on his finger?I received a small bite from a Echis coloratus. All is well, just a bit sore
of a left arm now and things have been going slowly.

Perhaps you missed the point...if you accept (and cash) a United States Postal Service money order, and then defraud the customer of the goods that they were purchasing, then it is a federal crime. It doesn't matter what "trade" you're in.KNOBTAIL said:Dr Owen's, I have never heard of a single person going to jail over cashing in money orders. Have you? It is certainly not an frequent occurance in the herp trade.
Give me a break. Before you accuse anyone of mail fraud, I would be a bit more careful with those types of accusations. Nothing has been proven to point a finger of guilt at Justyn. Are you asserting that Justyn perpetuated a fraud by deliberetly taking money via the post office through a postal money order with the INTENT to defraud the buyer. Am I reading this correctly?
Jim O said:Justyn,
Your absence from here is pathetic. You are a pathetic liar. The sooner you make it right (if you ever do) the better, but this will follow you for a long time.
You've had plenty of time to post photos of the alleged snakes but you haven't done so, leading us all, or most of us to conclude that they do not exist.
What did you do with the money? Use it for another shipment? Use it to support a drug or gambling problem? Simply steal it?
You made a comment earlier in this thread to the effect of how your wife would leave you if you never spent time with your child. Imagine what she will do if you go to prison for defrauding these folks (and potentially others that we do not know about). What will your child think of you then? Oh yeah, I said it above. He'll think the same thing that most of us here do. That is that you are a pathetic liar.

jsrocket said:Marcia, not to nit pick here, but you have obviously never been tagged by a pit viper.
I don't believe this excuse any more than you do, but just wanted to set that straight.
KNOBTAIL said:You can force bankruptcy proceedings, you can hire an attorney to sue him in his home state, and of course the attorney generals office in his state if you feel their was an intent to defraud. He (Justyn) I am sure is personally liable, and cannot fall back on a corp. so the avenues are their which can yield better results then filing a claim with the federal govt.
It just depends on how far you want to go with it.

jsrocket said:No, Robin, I believe he said he got bitten on the finger. Not to derail this thread, as this thread is about Justyn's apparent inability to pay his bills.
Suffice it to say, if you get tagged on the finger, your arm will swell up and become sore.
You may, or may not keep your finger.
This is a side issue; just thought some of you might like to know.

I don't want to get into a debate about Echis envenomation as that is not the subject at hand, but they usually do have a good deal of swelling and tissue damage. The extent of the localized effects depend on the degree of envenomation.erk2 said:Like I said, I was bitten on the thumb and had no swelling or soreness and was never in danger of losing my finger. That is not the way Echis venom works.
Does anyone want to start a pool as to when Justyn will come on here and say something to the effect of, "You can say whatever you want because ever since this topic was started business has been UP! Thanks for the free advertising everyone!"Laura Fopiano said:Feel free to prove me wrong here Justyn but its looking like you have spent some time studying the Scammers Handbook. Throw out excuses , throw out more excuses , buy some time with supposed payments then throw out a smokescreen when they discover ( suprise suprise ) there are no checks in the mail.

critical bill said:Hey Jim....I believe Justyn said something earlier in the thread that his pond business was slow and had just started picking up again and that he had some jobs he was involved with now or just starting. I guess it could be a safe speculation that while his pond business was not doing so well the past few months that perhaps the deposit money that came in was for the dual purpose of supporting his family and securing a shipment or two.
