    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

he has my name and address and I just got in from work and he did email me several times for it and I resent it...hopefully he wires it by 5pm and is being honest for his sake.
 
I believe it was his wife or girlfriend,but could have been him,was a females name on the wired money. Either way I am just glad this was able to be settled before it went any further.

You may want to ask him for updated pics. See how it all works out, because it seems like he's not going to stop until he's caught. If he was legit, he'd be here to offer some evidence of it by now.
 
I'm glad you got your money back, Scott.

But the odds are very high that he is an all around scammer. Not to be a complete jerk, but if he suffered a head injury due an a long ago accident and can't think straight maybe he should just stay out of the selling and buying part of this hobby and just enjoy the snakes he ( MAYBE) owns as pets.

His lack of coming back to this thread to post details of his returning Scotts money and the real reason of what actually went down is a good cause to label him a scammer who got caught this time.
 
For the record, is your name Dustin or Justin? You may send a PM to Webslave, and he will be more than happy to correct it.

Some other things to address, now that you're here:

1. Why were you advertising and posting under an alias?
2. Why did you cut communication with prospective buyers that wanted to pick up in prson?
3. What happened with the rest of the pending deals?
4. What is this "special" method of shipping you have for 300lb. retics that is only done at night because you work from dawn till dusk?

i dont know how everyone would feel about this but why not have everyone send copy of their state ID or DL as a requirment for joinning the site? i have mine posted on my profile so everyone knows who i am and that i am a real person and not a made up name lol i dont know, just throwing out a few ideas :D thats one thing that worries me about dealing through sites is that i might get scammed and i'm not big time or nowhere close and i work off of limited income (wifes pay check at the moment, shes so supportive.. thanks babe :D) and getting scammed like that would put me way behind so i try to find something to buy that i can pick up or try to sell something that can be picked up or delivered if i am traveling out of state for some reason. i guess im just odd or something though lol :crazy03:
 
Ok I have sent a message to webslave. I did what i said I was going to do and sent Scott Guy his cash back. I understand why he was so upset. I would be to if under any circumstance I thought that I was being scammed. And as far as the name issue goes, Justin is a nickname ive had for a long time and I didnt know it would be an issue to use it on here. I didnt think that using aliases was a problem. Im starting fresh on here the best I can. I can see that this issue is leaving a bad taste in ppls mouths but Im not a scammer. And Id like the opportunity to prove it. I have a het for albino cotton for sale. I can produce any form of picture to prove that I really have it.
