Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well I wish you the best and I hope you get what you paid for, though I have my doubts! I dont know what I'd do in your situtaion, that guy is absolute scum! Next time just do some more homework and try to buy from well-known breeders only, as I do. Best of luck again!

But I saw that Jesse may be shipping you the cresties this morning. If a box does come I would have a witness as to what is in the box, because from reading other stories on the BOI people have sent empty boxes just to get a tracking number and then they are not held responsible through paypal. I have no personal experiance though, I have been lucky all the chameleons I have ordered in the last couple of years(from various breeders) have arrived smoothly. I wish you the best of luck and hope that you get 2 healthy cresteds today!

This has quickly gone from bad to worse-if that is possible
I will post the most recent emails between us after this summary
The short version of the story to date is that he mailed me out a package via USPS yesterday and he sent it PRIORITY MAIL not EXPRESS and there of course is no tracking number-just a signature confirmation number and it can take from 2 to 5 days for the package to get here at best
The package was mailed 10:17 AM on April 3, 2007 in NEFFS, PA and i did talk to the clerk at my local PO and showed her the number
She told me that it was definitely NOT an Express mail package
I then called the 800 number for USPS and they also told me that it was NOT an Express package and that from the signature conformation number it was sent priority mail which goes back to the 2 to 5 day time frame at best for delivery to me
I also called the Slatington PO and they of course told me that no packages had gone out to Illinois from there yesterday
I then called the Neff's PA PO (thank God for unlimited long distance) and i got the same info about the package being sent Priority mail and not express next day/overnight mail
This is the number that he sent me and that I can only verify on the USPS website that the package was accepted at the Neffs PA PO because it IS NOT a tracking number
0305 0830 0003 9472 9766
I did email him as soon as I received what i thought was the tracking number and told him that it did not look right for an express package number-they always have an E and some other letter before the numbers and he wrote me back -repeating the tracking number and that the package would be delivered to my door-and no mention of when
I am going out of my mind thinking that there might be 2 geckos freezing or frozen to death in that package
I just cannot believe this never ending nightmare
To those of you that have suggested that it was unwise of me to do any business with someone that was not an established seller-I can understand that statement but-if no one ever gives the little unknown guy a chance-then how does anyone ever start out selling any of their reptiles?
Yes-I should have recognized Jesse Fricker's name from a post on here and ironically enough I do remember reading Jerry's post when it was first started but I am afraid that it went right by me
God help me-with everything else going on in my life I did not even check the weather and had no idea that it was going to get this cold (it had been 70 plus degrees here for 3 or 4 days) or I would have not wanted him to ship them even overnight this week and I can only pray that there are no geckos in that box or they are going to arrive DOA
If that happens- that will be on my conscious and I am ending up feeling completely responsible for everything that has gone wrong here
Is this nightmare ever going to be over??

Actually the USPS will not knowing ship any live animal any other way other than Express mail
Please help me figure out when these guys are going to get here
Also the number that you gave me is not a tracking number
It is only a signature conformation number
Which means that I will know absolutely nothing of this package's location until it reaches me (hence paying the money for express mail) that does offer package location tracking
I have told you in previous e-mails that I would have PayPal-ed you the extra money to ship UPS if you ran into a problem with the USPS
Please clear up the confusion at this end regarding when these animals are scheduled to arrive here

I will post the most recent emails between us after this summary
The short version of the story to date is that he mailed me out a package via USPS yesterday and he sent it PRIORITY MAIL not EXPRESS and there of course is no tracking number-just a signature confirmation number and it can take from 2 to 5 days for the package to get here at best
The package was mailed 10:17 AM on April 3, 2007 in NEFFS, PA and i did talk to the clerk at my local PO and showed her the number
She told me that it was definitely NOT an Express mail package
I then called the 800 number for USPS and they also told me that it was NOT an Express package and that from the signature conformation number it was sent priority mail which goes back to the 2 to 5 day time frame at best for delivery to me
I also called the Slatington PO and they of course told me that no packages had gone out to Illinois from there yesterday
I then called the Neff's PA PO (thank God for unlimited long distance) and i got the same info about the package being sent Priority mail and not express next day/overnight mail
This is the number that he sent me and that I can only verify on the USPS website that the package was accepted at the Neffs PA PO because it IS NOT a tracking number
0305 0830 0003 9472 9766
I did email him as soon as I received what i thought was the tracking number and told him that it did not look right for an express package number-they always have an E and some other letter before the numbers and he wrote me back -repeating the tracking number and that the package would be delivered to my door-and no mention of when
I am going out of my mind thinking that there might be 2 geckos freezing or frozen to death in that package
I just cannot believe this never ending nightmare
To those of you that have suggested that it was unwise of me to do any business with someone that was not an established seller-I can understand that statement but-if no one ever gives the little unknown guy a chance-then how does anyone ever start out selling any of their reptiles?
Yes-I should have recognized Jesse Fricker's name from a post on here and ironically enough I do remember reading Jerry's post when it was first started but I am afraid that it went right by me
God help me-with everything else going on in my life I did not even check the weather and had no idea that it was going to get this cold (it had been 70 plus degrees here for 3 or 4 days) or I would have not wanted him to ship them even overnight this week and I can only pray that there are no geckos in that box or they are going to arrive DOA
If that happens- that will be on my conscious and I am ending up feeling completely responsible for everything that has gone wrong here

I have told you in previous e-mails that I would have PayPal-ed you the extra money to ship UPS if you ran into a problem with the USPS
Please clear up the confusion at this end regarding when these animals are scheduled to arrive here
