    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Package Arrived Today

I called the PO this am at around 8:30 and they told me that nothing had come in for me
Around 2 hours later-there was a knock on my door and it was one of the postal clerks with a package
He said that they missed it when I called earlier so it had been there for around 3 or 4 hours
Thankfully it was inside the PO for that period of time

The box was very well packed/cushioned with tons of shredded newspaper in it and it had one heat pack in it

I have no clue as to how long that heat pack lasted but when
I opened the box -not really knowing what to expect and I almost fainted
Both geckos are alive !!

They have been in transit for 3 days in below freezing temps for the lows and slightly above freezing temps for the highs and they are alive
The Larger one seems more stressed than the tiny one but I am praying that they both make it OK


I know that there is no way to even compare the pics in the ads and my pics
these geckos are both stressed and it will be a bit before they show their fired up color but the second smaller one is definitely going to be a beauty
The first-who knows-we'll see how she does and what she looks like when she gets more relaxed and secure in her new home
I don't mean that I don't like her but there is definitely a color difference between the ad pic and what she looks like right now
As I said-I understand that she is stressed and might not be showing any where near her potential colors



The first one which looks to be female is adult or very close to it
When I first put her in her 10 gal tank-she did climb up on the glass and now she is hiding under the leaves of the plants on the bottom of the tank
She is moving around-so I am hopeful
I am just very grateful that they are both alive (I have no clue as to why or how they made it here alive) and very glad to have them here and be done with this whole deal

Well that's a happy end to a bad story. I still think that guy is scum though as the geckos could've just as easily been dead.

Thats great Sandy a promising end to all this headache. I hope your mind is eased somewhat and you can finally relax. I wish the best for you and the new babies.
 
I was hoping for the best, but I didn't think that they would show up...

However, this doesn't AT ALL excuse the fact that this guy is a major jerk and endangered the lives of the animals by shipping the way he did...
 
Glad they arrived safely, its awful that you had all this stress and worry though. Hope they are okay, after their 'adventure'.
 
Awesome Sandy- im glad you finally got them and I hope everything works out for you- Somebody still needs to kick this dudes butt though
 
I'm so glad that they actually arrived in apparent good health, Sandy!! While it doesn't make up for what happened, and the horrible trip they went through to get there, I'm sure you will do you best make it up to them by spoiling them rotten. ;) Just keep a close eye on them....though I'm sure I don't have to tell you that!

Hello Jeff kinda of convienient to just join and have two posts all in this thread. I am glad you had good dealings with James Skinny/ Jesse Fricker. Despite what you have to say about him. He has proven to be less than honorable. Posting from two seperate accounts and having multiple untraceable emails. Just read on the thread about this wonderful Young man.... Take care
