I believe what she is implying is the possibility of IBD or similar. The pin male has been sick since I have had him and I have also taken him to the vet, they said there isn't a lot they can do without a carcass but the symptoms point to IBD. I haven't had recurring RI's with any of my snakes until bringing this guy home.
Not to sound harsh, but if a male pinstripe in my possession was suspected of having IBD or a similar disease, the vet would be instructed to put him down and do the tests. Heck, even if I couldn't follow through with the necropsy and tissue samples, it would still be worth the piece of mind to remove the risk. I understand wanting to do all you can for an animal in your care; but common sense has to take over at some point.
