In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I believe what she is implying is the possibility of IBD or similar. The pin male has been sick since I have had him and I have also taken him to the vet, they said there isn't a lot they can do without a carcass but the symptoms point to IBD. I haven't had recurring RI's with any of my snakes until bringing this guy home.

Not to sound harsh, but if a male pinstripe in my possession was suspected of having IBD or a similar disease, the vet would be instructed to put him down and do the tests. Heck, even if I couldn't follow through with the necropsy and tissue samples, it would still be worth the piece of mind to remove the risk. I understand wanting to do all you can for an animal in your care; but common sense has to take over at some point.

hello all and sorry this was brought up again so many months later. i have never had issues with my collection and it is sad to see others struggle with theirs. this explains that you dont only need to be cautious as a buyer but also a seller. i like making people great deals and selling them quality animals. if there was any doubt there was something wrong with an animal i sold i would most definitely mention it before any transaction. i am a honest person and look forward to dealing with honest people. i have done more than most sellers with this transaction. i really tried to make things right to make the buyer happy here. out of all the transactions i made this is by far the the most touching to me. sorry this didnt work out. it is now 8-9 months after the transaction and still i hear about it. i have up to date info on Tara's caging and plan on helping her get it right so she has better results in the future. thanks everyone!

The pin is kept separate from my other animals. I always tend to him last and the vet has just suggested the possibility of the snakes Jason sent carrying IBD since the antibiotics don't seem to be working, and I don't have problems like this with my other animals, I have been keeping snakes for many years. I'm sorry this was brought up again but I believe Tara just wanted it known that even after 8-9 months of the transaction, the snakes are still struggling even though we both just wanted our money back that he already spent. I don't think there is much to be done about it now though. Also, never got my "Het albino" paperwork from Jason for the pin, which he stated he would send multiple times. This is all old news, just wanted to stand up for Tara a bit, as she is a beginner but the issue here is the snakes were sick and still are and she just wanted to update everyone on the issues we had/are having.

It might be "old news", but it was never presented here - sorry I was curious and wanted a little more information.

I wasn't trying to sound rude with the "old news" comment just trying to explain why this was brought up again, because I feel bad for everyone involved.

It depends on the health of the snake I'm sure, however these snakes have been consistently treated with antibiotics for RI's so that may be why they are still alive, however as Tara said, the one albino did die even with treatment. The point of the post I believe was to update on the situation and let everyone know that she is taking the body in (today I believe) to be checked.

to clear this up a little she was talking about taking a normal female that died in to be checked out that recently died. the normal female was not from me. the albino that she said died was not the one we had treated at the vet. the smaller one had the issues at first and the treatment. the bigger one died later. i will be helping her get her caging right here soon. it is not setup properly right now but i am willing to help. i would think someone with experience as Candace claims would help her friend as well. Tara will have an email from me soon. i am busy at the moment. but i will make sure not to miss fine details by trying to explain it all fast to her.
