• Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Here are some pictures that I took the day I put her up for auction 8/06/06. She had one meal a few days after I put her up for auction I did not feed her again becuase I knew I would be shipping her soon, but she was not under fed or dehydrated.

Ok, so she was fed on say, 8/9, and shipped on 8/23? You didn't even attempt to feed her in 2 weeks because "she would be shipping soon"??

Evidently, Jason has no good answers.....he was reading this thread as I was typing my last reply, and now he's gone.....go figure.

Whoops. Wrong tags. And it does seem strange to change an auction username...

I bet he has to set back and think up more lies  .He did not even explain himself on the reason for the name change on the auctions :hehe: .Wow what a class act :toiletcla :toiletcla

I did change my auction username at reptileauctions.com

I did not have time to respond back yesterday anymore, I had things I had to do.

I had changed my user name because I bought the domain name combomorphs.com on 8/18/06 this can be verified through a whois look up at www.whois.net
So, I changed my user name to combomorphs, it had nothing to do with this which started many days later. Joepythons You posted 9 minutes after your original post, saying I did not respond yet because "I had to think up more lies" What lies?
I have a full time job, a part time job and 3 kids, I don't have time to sit here at my keyboard all day and respond within 9 minutes.

This situation started all because the lady thought her snake was "very injured" and "lucky to be alive" there was no cut on the snakes belly from an injury, it was a scar from the umbilical cord the snake was not in a dirty environment or poor living conditions.
I have never ripped anyone off, I am an honest person and I take good care of my snakes.
I offered several times to give the lady a full refund including paying to ship the snake back to me.

If anyone has any questions they can email me at [email protected]

Well we can all agree that it's a no-no to ship snakes USPS. I did receive a snake USPS once (without knowing it was coming that way) and everything was fine. It seems to me that a lot of Annette's complaints could be chalked up to lack of experience. Ok, the snake was in shed- no big deal. Cut on belly- surely an umbilical cord mark. Your Vet and your breeder friend should definately have known that. It is hard to find a good reptile vet though. As far as the snake being dirty, perhaps it did crap a little bit in the bag and made a big mess of herself. None of us can say for sure though since we didn't pull her out. I'd like to see the other cut you spoke of before I make a decision on that 1. We also need to remember that he did offer a full refund, including shipping. In the auction pic she looks healthy and happy and I'm sure 2 weeks without food wouldn't change that. I'd rather not feed for a couple weeks before shipping to allow time for their digestive systems to clear out. If not, all the moving around seems to make them wanna poo and make a huge mess. Anyway, I'm not trying to argue with anyone and Annette, please don't feel as though I'm attacking you, I just think that a lot of this is just confusion that got blown out of proportion. -Chris

Slow day on the BOI. However .... Jason, if you made the customer pay for $50 worth of shipping, you need to deliver $50 worth of shipping. I realize that the complexities of such a transportation component to an exchange of a monetary instrument for reptilian goods and services can be profound and requiring several levels of understanding to grasp and then convey to the purchasing recipient, insuring also not to exclude the potential legal ramifications of the oversight made in annointing the carrier of choice .................... NOT ! IMO ...... send her $25.
