• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Jason Rumsey

Dang, y'all have tough laws up there. Here in GA I'd just ride it and have fun. If you have proof it isn't stolen and you got it legally in a trade, that's good enough. I trail rode and raced for years and never once had a cop check my vin or ask to see a title. But we don't have registration either on dirtbikes or atvs.

Hope it all works out for you

Thanks, I dont honestly think its anything more than he lost the title but it doesn't change the fact that he was a complete tool bag about the situation when he could have went to the registration office and just put in for a new title. Super easy and probably under $10 but there's a million possibilities. Guess its one I can chalk up to lessons learned and never trust anyone.

That's a valid vin number for a Yamaha, and an obvious attempt to obscure it at some point. If you're hesitant to deal with the law (which sounds as shady as your bike, btw), ask a friend to check for you. That's really the only way, short of paying some insane fees.

Even if he lost the title though, I'm sure his state has a Lost Title document. You just need the guy to sign and notarize that form and mail it in. Then you can continue with your paperwork without issue.

relax with the calling people shady thing. I went over it with WD-40 and a brush and was able to get the rust off and the numbers show back up again so it legitimately was just rusted over and wasn't grinded off. I took the VIN from the atv and ran it across the national database and its never been reported stolen or been in an accident. My reputation speaks for itself and there's nothing shady about me but thanks for your unwanted concern.
