    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

In light of all the accusatory postings made by Jay Sommers and the one sided replies by many of the BOI viewers I cannot stay quiet any longer.

Jay sommers is not the person that he makes himself out to be in the public eye. It appears from our conversation that Jay would be engaging in illegal axolotl transactions both at a distance and at shows and keeping axolotls in CA is illegal in the first place. Jay talks negatively about fish and wildlife whom he relies on to receive the rare species he keeps.

There is no doubt Jay has a great collection. I have kept these pm's behind scenes because I do not like throwing people under the bus and potentially getting them in trouble. However, with Jay's persistent post about myself and having his friend Ramy ban me from the super shows I have no sympathy for him now.

I feel it is right and ethical that Ramy G. Ban Jay sommers from all super shows as he clearly broke the rules stated on the super show website by selling illegal animals at the show(Screen shots of transactions and rules of show attached)

Jay speaks negatively about fish and wildlife officers and his vulgar comment towards female officers should show his real character behind scenes. (Screen shot attached)

I do not question Jay's paperwork on imported species but it is without a doubt that he either keeps axolotls in California or transports them here across state lines for sale. (Screen shot attached)

Jay has mentioned several times about my transactions with Yusuke Murai of samurai Japan reptiles and claims that I have never complained about his frogs until I had a open balance. This is not true. I have had issues with Yusukes frogs on and off over time. On a few occasions I approached Jay as shown in attachments and he suggested that I keep the issue hush hush and not mention it to too many people. (Screen shots attached) especially with the laws that are trying to be imposed on the amphibian community.


I will let all of those decide what they want on their own. I am putting the info out there and will not be responding in comments following this.

You need not respond to my comment here: While there are as yet issues with some of your past and present transactions still, I feel that your present approach might actually eventually solve some of them depending on what further future actions/refunds/apologies of yours follow especially toward parties that have been wronged.
Bringing courteous opinion, rational presentation, and some screen shots/evidence at least allows a dialogue to begin, and that can be the basis for solving issues. I'm hoping that you will change your mind and that you will respond to those presenting courteous questions about the information you presented.

Also im sure I still lived in Kansas city. I do not have axolotls in California that's ridiculous. I have a dedicated facility with employees and have for years.
What I made an off color remark in private about something I don't remember. I was probably pissed off about something. No idea. It was years ago.
Also regarding the pacman frogs... What?
I never said anything. I sight might have ranavirus. I said I didn't know. I also said don't send those things anywhere near me and my collections.
The reference to blackworms is about a collection of Neurergus at a zoo that was wiped out due to tanavirus being introduced by blackworms. This was proven by the amphibian vet specialist at San diego zoo. Never didn't say it had to do with pacmans.
Is there a lot of the conversation blacked out???

Let me explain something to the folks who may not have full comprehension of how things work. I do not get animals from usfw. They do not help me or anyone. The simply inspect my imports and exports. That's it. And sometimes they do not know what they are talking about and overstep their bounds just like many in law enforcement or positions of authority.

This is a simple deflection attempting to discredit me. obviously there is a lot being left out here and words are being twisted. All one has to do is look at the stuff on the Boi about mike matson. And the stuff on BOi about me. The only person to have a real issue with me ever on the boi. Is Mike matson and Barry lambert. Two best friends who both started boi threads about me to try and discredit me because they were basically getting ruined. Both had no proof of their claims. Just vague non specific references.

I m absolutely in completed confusion about the relevance of the pacman frog situation and me. All it does is show I am trying to help a stranger with a health issue he is having with his frogs. I think it actually shows that I am a nice guy sharing confidential info to someone I don't even know to help them. Not the other way around.

Jay, why do you keep insisting on bringing me into your issues with Mike? However now that I'm here, does it really matter which branch of F&W it really is? It shows your sexist disdain regardless and the seedy tone in which you are referring to the axolotls seems to show you had them in CA OR was willing to bring them into CA. Either way, it reveals your willing to break the rules/laws. Hmmmmm..... You portray yourself as some boyscout do-gooder but personally I think those screenshot speak for themselves. Spin this, twist it, and go off topic all you want.
 
Mike your excuse in not paying Yusuke has nothing to do with health. You bought frogs for years after this only when you didn't have money to pay him was there an issue with the frogs. And you never said anything about health. Your excuse all along has been that you were lies to about color. He has a 4000$ judgment against you so someone must think you are in the wrong.

If you think you have some dirt on me for axolotls than contact california dept of fish and game. I am happy to speak to them. In fact I have many many times. Who do you think usfw and california dept of fish and game contact when they bust someone in CA with axolotls?? Me. And yes I have proof of this. I always have very specific well defined proof. Where's yours???
Furthermore I find it funny you say this when you have Boi posts about you selling hedgehogs, alligators and other illegal species in California. And to this day. Right now. It says you live in the city of Spokane and the state of Washington.

i don't claim to be a Boy Scout do gooder. I just claim to be a guy who doesn't like grown men picking on 15 year old girls.

Yes let the screen shot speak for themselves. A post by mine matson, the most credible man in the hobby. Putting the spotlight on someone else to take attention off of himself.

This will be my only response Jay. Yes, you did sell me axolotl at the super show. 2 juvies and 4 small ones. I did not know of the legality at the time of the transaction and sadly they died within a week. I was not experienced with them and did not understand the water temps had to be kept cool.

As far as "bullying" the only person I see bullying and attacking is you Jay. Following the video that was done in April I have had very few interactions with Cher online. You have attacked me everyday since last week and continued to do so without me responding to your post. That would be cyber bullying.

This post is not a deflection. I have withheld this for years as I did not want to throw you under the bus. Even though you attacked me on the ML Richardson post regarding the whites from Bob and post about Yusuke and his frogs. You asked me to post it Jay.

As far as bullying bob mallioux at Sandfire I have no idea what you are talking about. I have only done things for Bob and free of charge. Including picking up imported whites for him and delivering them 180 miles round trip for free. Bob has not addressed me about any of this. I have no idea what you have told him behind scenes. There is no bullying proof because I haven't done anything to Bob. He is a friend of ours and you tried to use your "power" to disrupt that friendship.
