    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am VERY happy DAND is alright.....maybe my 'feeling' was misdirected....The Wise's are really setting themselves up for some jail time....disgusting

My boss is a defense attorney, but we have some people in the fbi that we deal with - we are obviously on opposite sides in the cases, but most are very nice and I think I know of one who will help with this. If anyone else can think of anything else, please post it. They were given one chance and that chance has come and gone - in my opinion.

Maggie, I'm so sorry to see you having to go through this and it only seeming to get more and more difficult. As I said earlier, I did not play a big enough role to get any balls rolling, but I promise that I'll do anything I can to help roll it to the end!!!
 
All I know is, that if they don't make this right ASAP. Someone needs to be put in charge and get this thing going to a higher level. All facts, and information needs to go to the person in charge. Then if the police want everyone involved to speak to them, then they can. The person in charge could be a lawyer by the way. The clock is ticking, the ball needs to get rolling. This has to be one of the sickest things that I have ever seen. These people need to be held accountable for their actions.

You know what, when dealing with people like the Wises, you never know what they are truly capable of, so your feelings were definitely not misdirected. I,myself, am also glad that DAND is fine:)

I agree Brian, it would be so much easier to have the info all compiled in one place. Just not sure if one can speak for many in a case like this or all have to file whatever grievance separately....

Poor Maggie, thinking there might be a glimmer of hope, getting these animals sold, getting some funds. Now all of that is gone again! Just incredible!
 
I just got off the phone with an attorney who used to work here and he is a former police officer. He is obviously disgusted - that being said, he said christina and jeff are at least looking at wire fraud, theft and forgery - he said they may have at least 3 or 4 felonies against them, but needs to look through more of the stuff. He is going to send me the most recent statute so I can review and see exactly what needs to be done.

He also suggested that we go to the media - what do you all think? He gave me the name and the number of a reporter here and also suggested that they may have a "sister" channel in Michigan, etc.

I would definitely go to the media! The more this gets out, the more the noose will tighten around them, and they will have nowhere to go to. They made their grave, now it's time for them to go lie in it and accept responsibility for their actions:dgrin::dgrin:
 
Personally I think going to the media is a superlative idea....it seems obvious to me that they have NO intention on making this right on their own.

Everyone is really fired up and ready to do whatever Maggie. I did not donate or win any of the auctions so doubt I can do much but support. I will post on any site I can of these people and what they have done! If anyone else comes up with stuff for the rest of us to do, please post it!

Very anxious to hear what transpired at "the meet up"

Of course, yes. I have sent some information myself to a reporter. I would concentrate on their area. Bring it home to them. Also, I would consider getting in touch with their local D.A.'s office. If anything else they can refer you to the right person to start the ball rolling.

FYI, Google capture some of their friends in the cached pages before it went down. If anyone uses facebook there friends and family might benefit knowing what kind of people they are.
 
I lurk as a guest too, so I hope I'm not confusing anyone if they see a guest reading, because it may just be me.. :erm

All the negativity aside for a moment, this was by far one of the sweetest gestures on behalf of those who contributed.
The giving from so many caring people really is hard to eclipse even with the lowest of low actions from this couple.
That is one thing the Wise's can't take away, the fact that people were willing to help a family in need.

Back to the bullcrap:
I can't really say I'm not surprised the Wise's are not ponying up any dough or animals for what they owe. They are going to refuse to admit responsibility untill the day they die.
From the sound of it, everything so far has been one excuse after another from these two. It's past time to call in the legal back up since they obviously are refusing to remedy the situation without being legally forced to do it.

I can't say that I wouldn't have taken it out of his hide if I met with him, but I'm just unbalanced like that. :angry:

I had a real late night last night.... Got up a bit ago...

They had another chance to get the ball rolling in the right direction.... They don't want to fix this.. All they are doing is saying yeah we will do this and that to buy them a few more days and then when that does not go through... They make up reasons and do it all over again....

This is sad......


Just a week or so ago... Mrs Wise got in contact with me to buy her leopard gecko collection... Then she got in contact about her getting a 2010 Lesser Ball Python.. I think she said she got it for 300 shipped... This just hit me sorry about that... If they are having money issues why and how are they buying these animals.

Yeah your reading this Mr and Mrs Wise... I told Mr Wise a long long time ago.. When he first bought a group of geckos... Reptile breeding is great... The community is very tight... stay honest and everything is fine... Screw up... You will never be anything...

I am waiting for them to contact me... and give me a story... But they know me and many of you guys and gals know me... I do not sugar coat... I will not...
