    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm very glad that pay-pal denied the wises claim!! Hopefully enough red flags have been thrown up at this point their world of lies and deception begins to crumble around them. As far as being on Jerry Springer goes. It really doesn't suprise me, but as many times as i heard them talk about the wedding i'd think they'd have PROUDLY mentioned they were on the Jerry Springer show. I just hope the next time we see them on tv it is on the news showing them both in orange jumpsuits after covering the story on there horrible actions!!! I have posted this a couple of times now. I spoke to the reporter that did the story on the wedding. Her name is Laura, and she said if the Wise's are arrested she will do a story. Here is her number, 810-766-6310. Maybe if enough people call she will do a story now. So, maybe some of you can call her and try to convince her. What do you think?

Would a flood of phone calls on the same subject be helpful? Maybe. Or maybe she would just feel pestered and annoyed and want to throw the lot of us out the window? :shrug01: Of course...that's how reporters often treat their own subjects...but I'm not sure how well they would respond to their own pestering tactics.

I think the problem with bombarding a reporter with emails is that even if she read all of this and weeded through all of the posts, nobody has been arrested, charged, or convicted. I am sure that (like she said) she will do something when they are arrested. Writing an article and basing it only on this thread would have a lot of liability attached to it. There is nothing wrong with continuing to report things to those entities that can investigate the fraud among other criminal acts is a great idea. However, if we continue to hound a reporter who can't do anything with the information until after an arrest has been made, she may decide to not pursue it at all.

Good points, although I highly doubt any reporter worth their salt is going to drop a story because people are encouraging them to report on it via email, phone or otherwise.

EXACTLY!

As much as we all want this to be written about, as a reporter she can't write an article going only on what is *legally* hear-say at this point. As soon as there's a warrant, or an arrest, she can easily do a story about a legally accused criminal. Right now, though, even though we know what's going on, this is legally gossip and no more.

Uhhh, reporters will report whatever they like, be it gossip, truth, falsehoods, rumors, etc. The vast majority of them will report anything that will increase their ratings.
 
I tried to post a comment on that news article with the video of the wedding but it wont let me. I registered but it keeps bringing me back to the same screen when click post comment. If anyone else has success doing this, let me know.

Shows me that Springer must be having some real hard times to cover these two nitwits and that wedding. But they talked the local press into it. Wonder if they got paid for that one too.

Also shows me that these two may have been doing similar things other places all along. Playing on people for what ever they can dream up, just to try and get some freebies out of the deal. It's really sad. Even for a pathetic duo like them.


Anyway, JUST got home from running. Chase has been notified of the attempted fraud as well. We've paid these banks plenty, let them spend some of it. Also went to the local PD, and sorry to say, I'm not exactly having much faith in law enforcement after that. At least, not around here. They have long proved to have other agenda. Today they actually STATED, "We don't care what happened in Michigan. We ain't taking a report, and we ain't forwarding ANYTHING!" Even after hearing everything. They could care less. I mean, not even a "sorry about your friend and all this trouble", just a "we don't care" :angry::angry:

But after raising a little hell, and getting the Sargent out there, then the Lieutenant, they did take a statement and give me a case number. Next I'm on the phone to Michigan to file with them.

Did you know you could actually GO TO JAIL for being, uh, voiciforous? Well, since they put it like that, I decided to lower my voice a tad. :D Got what I was after though. Sorta. As good as you get around here I guess.

Yes, I have heard that a time or two and I did know that. I guess I should have told you folks that when I told of the difficulties you'd probably have at your local Police with this.
