I don't know why the Op is getting so much hassle here , perhaps people need to read the previous thread b4 commenting?
what does anyone think? Everyone that jumped on me should speak more of their minds on these split back cages. Please voice your opinions, they are valued as learning curves for me.
LMAO! good one lol you know how I feel, I am curious to hear others opinions as well
I wont speak for him but his caging also had the split back on them. He also tried to E-Mail him, call him, and even wrote him a certified letter. Guess what? Did Jeff even call him back, write him back, or even try to fix this situation? If you guess no then your right! Hi Rich I just got done reading this post from page 1 to 47! I need to point out something first Rich is a good honest person and he's not out to screw anyone. The only thing that happen here is Jeff screwed him in this case. Maybe those of you that have jumped ship with Jeff need to notify him of this post. We can only hope that it will knock some sense into him and get him to realize that he is shipping out defective caging.
I have a few friends that have bought these cages from Jeff ( The big business guy).I wont speak for him but his caging also had the split back on them. He also tried to E-Mail him, call him, and even wrote him a certified letter. Guess what? Did Jeff even call him back, write him back, or even try to fix this situation? If you guess no then your right!
As for those who are making these idiotic excuses for Jeff shame on you. He sold Rich caging that are defective. If he was such a honest truthful business man slash family man, he would of made this right for Rich. He has not done none of the above so in my opinion he should be on the BOI without a doubt. Also I have many friends in the boa business some are in it for a hobby, some are bigger named breeder's! Out of all these people they will tell you to beware of Jeff at Boaphile.
I'm sorry you had to deal with this Rich but take it as a life lesson learned. Keep letting other's know that when they do buy caging from Jeff at Boaphile to be prepared for terrible service. I'm going to also tell my buddy to post his story on this forum. To prove to other's that it would be best to buy their caging elsewhere.

Obviously people don't know a quality cage when they see one.
That is a built-in feature on a Boaphile cage - micro-slit seam-technology ventilation. It's professional quality baby.
Now the Boaphile can take your cage order over the internet, and even charge you over the internet.........
........but he won't take an e-mail if you got a problem. There's a very good reason for that, but seeing as most of you people are too simple to appreciate cutting edge enclosure ventilation, I doubt you are all professional grade enough to understand it.
Bottom line - it must be nice having a bunch of people carry your water for you when you screw over a customer. Means you don't have to come here and defend your indefensible utter lack of acceptable customer service.
Jesus people, the OP is not the first person to come here or on another forum and gripe about the Boaphile's on and off again customer service.
Maybe the Boaphile is too busy composing the text for his next series of ads on Kingsnake, or writing a tough hitting report on boa breeding for Reptiles/Teen Beat Magazine to answer his e-mail. After all, it's not like you can fit a WHOLE deck of cards in there, just one..............the OP should just stop griping and bask in the glory of the flawed cage - after all, the Boaphile is a heck of a guy, with a family and a life for Chrissakes. The OP should be satisfied that he has even a flawed piece of his Majesty's greatness.
SARCASMIt is claimed to be a built in feature.....I claim it to be BS!
Slit seam ventilation?? Is he serious? That is the funniest thing I have heard. Maybe Jeff just found it easier to not properly finish his cages.
Can ANYONE who actually uses these cages tell me of that so called ventilation actually ventilates anything? Would you say it is a useful slit like the builder claims?? Very curious.

If I get legitimate answers saying it does some good I will stop here, but I just do not see the point of calling a slit like that ventilation....and for what purpose?? Except for the obvious reason which is to have SOME answer as to why your cages have a slit in them....
SARCASM
1

2

b : the use or language of sarcasm
I will tell you,it will if its all the way through and a fan is moving air!Mine is all the way through but i sealed it on the inside with silicone. Probably didnt need to do that, but i did.
Any type of hole or slit will let air move a little better. But the slit should not be there either way!
