In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

JENNIFER HARRISON GOOD GAL!!!

Jen - nobody is spreading lies to your vet - yeah I read him the riot act for apparently advising you to start rebuilding your collection and releasing animals into the community without even knowing what you were dealing with. That he emailed me back was surprise enough - that he confirmed that releasing those animals was indeed irresponsible was what EVERYONE needed to know - that he confirmed that you were full of it was just a bonus. And then I apologized for apparently being misinformed.

Perhaps if you try listening to the specialist instead of following your own agenda he might be more willing to work with you. But of course he's not advising you to go ahead and start a pandemic in the community to make a few dollars - so I can see why you'd not want to listen to him.

You can sit there and proclaim how nothing has left your place since September - but the truth is - that if someone hadn't caught that you were planning on shipping out possibly infected animals - they'd already be out there - and the best reasoning you can give is based on a virus that you have known that this is not and your animals were vaccinated with a vaccine that you know is useless.

Sorry if I don't just sit quietly in the corner while you infect a bunch of collections because you've had a bad year. Sucks what you've been through - but at this point you've proven you aren't any better than Wyatt.

And another one.....

You people make me sick. Truly.

Im glad these animals are not being sold to others without further evaluation. Im sure there are many here who appreciate that move greatly. You are doing the RIGHT thing.

In my ideal perfect world, This sort of thing... shouldnt happen. one shouldnt have to be prompted to make such a move. It should be automatic.

Infected Collection = Stop All Sales and Purchases Immediately

Sorry if that offends anyone. But frankly, i dont give two hoots.

Speaking of ass clowns.......

I know for a fact that a male ball python left Jen's possession on or shorty after 11/22/07....wait let me do the math it may take me a second since I am an ass clown, 11 minus 9 equals 2....yeah that's it 2 months after she has repeatedly said that nothing has left her house since September of last year...

I also wanted to repeat this YET AGAIN because some people just cannot seem to comprehend it, and are now apparently spreading these lies to the vet working on my research:

I HAVE NOT SOLD, TRADED, ADOPTED OUT, OR GIVEN AWAY A SINGLE ANIMAL SINCE SEPTEMBER 2007, BEFORE THE INFECTED CARRIER FROM WYATT EVER ARRIVED IN MY COLLECTION. NOTHING HAS LEFT MY POSESSION.

ALL 5 BABIES FROM THE MOJAVE CLUTCH ARE STILL HERE, THEY HAD ONLY BEEN RESERVED, NOT FULLY PURCHASED. I HAVE SINCE CANCELLED THESE RESERVATIONS.

I HAVE NOT RECIEVED A SINGLE DONATED ANIMAL FROM ANYONE WHATSOEVER, AND THEREFORE HAVE NOT SOLD, TRADED, ADOPTED OUT, OR GIVEN AWAY ANY DONATED ANIMALS.

In regard to what Dr. Jacobsen mentioned about not having evidence that my animals have OPMV -- by their symptoms and necropsy results compared to his own exact research and description of the virus, we sure do. He only has tissue samples in front of him that he did an unreliable test on -- he didn't witness the stages of disease they went through nor the treatments we tried and failed with. He also mentioned that he has no evidence that they have the other "new" virus he discussed either, so that one isn't any more positive.

The last time he spoke directly to me was many months ago -- back when this all first began and before he had ever recieved a single dead body or sample from us. He did mention there were other things that could have caused the lesions, but that was only a small fraction of what was discovered in the necropsies and histopathy, and he was only responding to what I had told him based on all I had found out by that time. Back then, he didn't advise using the vaccine -- because he had never heard of it or its successful uses in Europe, and didn't fully understand the whole picture of what was happening. Since he recieved the samples and began work on my case, he has not contacted me or spoken to me whatsoever. I was recieving all of my information from Dr. Gordon, which is where I got the information that the babies would be unaffected and that my adults could still be used for breeding. I had trusted that he was in communication with Dr. Jacobsen as he was the one sending the bodies/samples/paperwork to him. Until recently, I hadn't known that Dr. Jacobsen was not responding and withholding information.

Care to explain this ad, and the one on CraigsList in Madison? (both ads were for the same snakes)

These girls came as a group from Pet Supermarket, where they were dumped by either a breeder or someone that bought a bunch of babies at some point and didn't want them any more. The manager didn't know the whole story, but regardless, I took them home. All are 150-250g in weight and in good condition -- no stuck sheds, not skinny, no parasites, no scars. They're all actually really pretty, mostly reduced patterns, some have no spots at all, and almost all are black backs/blushers. I'm keeping 2 out of the original 7, but just do not have enough space to keep all of them. Asking $50 each (what I paid to get them) + shipping cost. I can take pics, but they'll really suck because my main camera is busted and I have to use a crappy 3mp back up.

If you read post #41, I state that it was in the early mornings of 05/01 that she made the decision nothing was leaving her home. Which is after those ads were posted. Perhaps she has not had a chance to remove all of the ads yet?

There's a lot of assumptions being made here.

The link does no one any good unless they're a member of that forum, so I can't comment on that.

However, I was referring to the ads posted in #65 & #66.

Hey Jen,
I just wanted to give you some support and say how truly sorry I am that you are still having to deal with this where your animals are concerned. As before, my heart truly goes out to you. I know this has to be very hard.
I was also very sorry for Jen having to deal with this infectious disease that killed a number of her animals. However my sympathy for her stopped when she put her finance's first and offered animals that are potential carriers of this disease for $ale.

As far as the idiot humans who cant seem to stay out of your business, may they all go play in heavy traffic. Or at least go play russian roulette with a semi automatic. Bunch of ass clowns hiding behind their keyboards sticking their noses where it dont belong. Cowards I say. Dont let them get you down, Jen. They aint worth your time.
Idiot humans, LOL. That would be the people who brought to light the fact that Jen was going about business as usual and willing to spread this disease as far as the money orders would come from, right?

I guess we should all just stay out of Jen's Greedy business, and wait until we receive an infected animal that's been in a collection with on of her little gems. Then if that animal came from a person you feel differently about we can run them out of the hobby/industry.

Exactly when did Jen become a bad guy? Alot of you are treating her like she has scammed someone. I personally believe that Jennier Harrison would not knowingly do anything to harm someone elses collection. She loves Her animals enough to try and save them. I think she just made a poor choice. When she decided to sell the babies... Don't treat her like a scumbag after what she went through. How many of you would have sold those snakes. Don't let this get you down Jen. Alot of us know you are a good gal

I dont quite think thats it.

She Knew she had the virus/infection within her collection and was getting treatment for the remaining animals. awesome, im glad for it!

but before i get into this, Who WOULD have sold those animals? I certainly DO want to know, so that i might avoid their sales in the future. I know i would not sell a single animal until i was 100% sure those animals were healthy, and before i even thought of selling any, i would establish a few animals in the collection, and monitor them to be sure that they remain healthy, along with interaction with others that were doing well within the collection after the fact.

The fact that she had to be asked why she was selling these animals so soon afterwards is the problem in my eyes. Its not something that should have even needed to be told. Unfortunately it was, and people are going to be upset about that. Its not just about her feelings, and her losses, when something like this happens and animals are being released far too soon ( while understandable, it dont make it right, i dont care who you are), it then becomes OTHER peoples collections at risk too! and i dont think it fair to say to others that theyre being mean because they worry for their collections, and the risk of infection. Sure, its a maybe, and it might not even be a problem... but WHY risk it in the first place?

Just because she might be a nice girl, and love her animals as much as the rest of us, why should she get treated any differently? I know i would understand 100% if i made the same mistakes, and reacted the way Jen did to this situation, and the information she was given from her vets. She was trusting her vets word. and i cant blame her for that, but my OWN common sense tells me that, just because it might be okay, dosnt mean it is. and you know what. i wouldnt hold it against anyone. It was a BAD decision. She has amended that( by not selling them), but it seems that there seems to be some clarification needed as to when some other animals were adopted/sold out in the timeframe that she had the virus. I dont feel that its wrong of people to question these things, to better understand, and learn the risk, if there is one, about this new information.

Is it right for people to call her bad things, and treat her like dirt... no, probably not, but fear and anger do those things to people when their own livelihoods have a possible risk at stake. Is it right for the people defending her to call those others, who are just upset about the situation names or other things? Nope, probably not. But it happens.

Point is, Mistakes were made, and those mistakes have consequences. These things really do need to be thought through a bit more clearly, and i hope that to the next person this happens to, they make better choices having seen some of the ones that have been made now, and in the past.

Look ass clown. I dont know Jen other than from here on Fauna. She is no particular friend or foe to me. I for one am just plain old fashioned tired of a bunch of pathetic no life ass clowns running around making ASSumptions about people, trying to pass those ASSumptions off as facts, harassing peoples vets, etc, etc. So go piss up a rope ass clown.

This mentality is everything that is wrong with this place. The status quo.

The girl (jen) has actually done nothing wrong, but since she didnt do everything exactly like a few members here would have liked, you all are going to throw her under the bus and try to make her into a monster. You all suck. You all are the true monsters. Big giant ass clown monsters.
