In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i was just going to use the plastic tubs i have, put one snake in each, put them in a small box from my work, insulate it and pad it then ship with dhl overnight. but the guy freaked out about that way

i dont have any snake bags, pillow cases anything. i would have to go out of my way to buy or order that stuff and i really dont want to... becuase id have to charge him for it

Snake bags are what, at best, a buck a piece. Heck, you could probably stop by at any pet shop and pick four up for free.

I think what first started this off is the fact that you keep posting in the adoption section. In reality, the snakes you keep putting up aren't for adoption. Just like the normal babies you put up for $40 dollars. That's a normal price for normal KSBs. Use the snakes for sale section.

By the way, I'm in SB and "goodwill or salvation army in SB" yes we do.

From: "Jennifer" <[email protected]>Add sender to Contacts To: [email protected] You’re a real sob aren’t you? I NEVER EVER CLAIMED TO BE A RESCUE! I breed snakes…aka Kenyan sand boas. Have been since 2006…so yes that is a ALONG time!

And you claim to know wtf your talkin about.. and you DON’T

I am ADOPTING these kings out, we are NOT making any profit, we are LOSING. We paid $200 alone for one of the blondes!

250 for four snakes that are worth double if not triple that is one hell of a deal.

the quotes i received shipping to you! 4 packages, 1lb each..since you cant pack king snakes together, they will eat/kill each other..duuuuhhh!

You claim to be breeding them in your email in 2006, and that's a long ass time to you, but you posted asking for info on breeding them on 09-13-2007, that is not even one year.

I might also add, you put them babies up for adoption at market prices, right here on Fauna. So you adopt your animals out? But you are not a rescue?

Sounds like you are placing ads for profit, and there is no adoption at all.

You’re a real sob aren’t you?

If you say so ;), but I am not a liar.

I live in Santa Barbara now, Santa Maria is an hour away and i dont go there anymore..and im not driving an hour for a damn goodwill...

and find a petstore in SB, that carries snake bags, yea right that aint going to happen. Let alone get them free.. haha! all there basically is here petstore wise, is petcrapco.

I posted in the adoption section becuase thats what we are doing, adopting them out, losing our money basically. we just need to get rid of these.

From: "bobby hill" <[email protected]>Add sender to Contacts To: "Jennifer" <[email protected]>Sorry Jennifer, but I want only to deal with people that know how to ship. You have much to learn about shipping and I will not argue with a newby on the proper way to ship animals, good luck with selling them with the shipping being between $200.00 and 374.12.

In other words you really do not care about providing your customers good service you just want what you want the way you want it.
Good luck with that, most buyers want someone who will try to provide and ship animals in the best way possible at the lowest cost possible. You are a me, me, me kind of person who does not care about the cost to the customer.

Pillow case at Wal-Mart............$1.99
4 x $1.99...............................$7.96
Total lack of concern for safe shipping methods.............PRICELESS!

BTW, Mr. Hill (varnyard) is a most respected member of the reptile breeder and seller community who goes out of his way to help his customers. You could learn a lot from him.

whatev. The guy was a total prick to my BF, he acted like he knew everything when he knew nothing. and he fuckin called him like 10 times sunday night AFTER my BF called him!! sheese. even my BF agreed not to sell them to this guy.

and the way i ship is the SAFEST method. They would be safe in plastic containers that would prevent any injury to the snakes. i do not have access to delta dash which would be the cheapest, but unless your going to pay me to drive them 4 hours away to LAX im not going to waiste my time

I wanted the "SAFEST method", that is why I called him to help you understand that there is no padding in a damn plastic shoe box, but you think you are the most wise one. I don't even like the cups, bags are safer when getting tossed around. And BTW, all of the shippers kick, and throw the boxes around, not just DHL.

Well I KNOW that Mr. Hill knows more than you and your BF(?) about the subject of shipping. I'd also be willing to bet my farm he knows more about breeding and care of any species of reptile than the two of you combined.
What I don't understand is why you, with your slight experience, feel like you know everything.
